The women who work and operate this pharmacy are unbelievably rude, they offer zero discretion, and seem too lazy and arrogant to do their jobs. Find another pharmacy. If you go to CVS in Carol Stream, you will leave without your prescription or will over pay for it.

Minute Clinic clinician was very unprofessional. She should be fired. She sent two clients home today who were on time just because she was behind and she could not wait for her lunch. She did not even check my patient yet and she was already making statements that she cannot do the job. Whoever that clincian who worked on this day this comment is posted needs to get fired.

I have told them 10 times to quit harassing phone calls. I call in refills when we need them. They keep refilling on their own and harassing us. Even meds my husband isn't on anymore but they'll want me to take it anyway. All they care about is money. Also called a phone number they gave to call and it did no good either. It messes up Medicare and the tier levels of what we pay filling and sending back. Costs us more money. Fraudulent.

The phramacy manager went above and beyond to help me find my medication during the shortage. He was the nicest pharmacist I have talked to in my life. He was super helpful and you could tell he really carried about his patients!

I drove up to the pharmacy window and the male who was standing there looked at me and kept doing what he was doing and didn’t acknowledge me while the window was wide open…not even a “hi or one moment please” I waited for a couple of minutes until he asked me how he could help me. I was there to pickup my new prescription which I paid for and realized that my insurance should’ve covered it. Before I pulled away I asked him if my insurance was applied to the prescription he shook his head yes. I then asked him how much the prescription was without insurance, he told me the exact price that I had just paid. So, I asked him “so my insurance wasn’t applied” he then said “No”. I asked him if he could take my insurance card and he told me to “just use it next time” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I told him that I would like to use my insurance card on this transaction, so he tells me to come inside with an attitude! I get inside and listen to him greet the next couple of guests at the window and he sounded super nice. I wonder why I didn’t get that same greeting. The female pharmacist in the back told me that the male at the window would be right with me. He saw me standing at the counter and just ignorantly waved to me to go get help from the female pharmacist that was stocking shelves. The pharmacist finally yelled “pickup” and that’s when he walked over to her to tell her that she needed to help me. She greeted me very pleasantly and refunded me my money. I can’t help but think that this was a race issue because everyone else he was being pleasant to was white. There was a language barrier on his end when I gave him my name & date of birth and maybe that irritated him but like I stated at the beginning he wasn’t pleasant from the time I pulled up! I will NOT be back to this Pharmacy.

Tried to make an appointment online for the Minute Clinic. The system showed an appointment available that day, but when I was confirming the appointment, the date was suddenly changed.Tried to call the Minute Clinic about the actual appointment availability. All I could get was an automated system telling me their hours. When I tried to actually talk to someone, the system told me that wasn't available and disconnected the call. I tried calling four more times, all with the same result.I called the pharmacy to try to get through. The first attempt put me on hold for a couple minutes, then disconnected the call. The second attempt was finally answered. The pharmacy tech said the pharmacy doesn't know anything about the Minute Clinic. I asked to be transferred to the clinic, but was told there is no way for him to do so. Even though the Minute Clinic is only a few feet away from the pharmacy, he would not take the time to ask them to call me.Completely unorganized and in no way helpful to customers.

Very nice pharmacy staff...never had any problems. The deals are good sometimes but their overall pricing is too high though. Please adjust this.

This is my 3rd visit to a CVS, each time a different one. The bathrooms at this location on Geneva in Winfield were disgusting. Why is everything buy1 get 50% off? What happened to BOGO?

Worst experience ever at a pharmacy. Spent 30 min on the phone waiting for someone to answer to give me an update. Only for them to hang up on me. Called again and again 30 min wait for them to tell me they had 4 days to fill my prescription and hadn’t even started it. They weren’t sure why it wasn’t done. Had to wait an hour to fill. Then get there, only to wait 30 min at the drive up window for them to figure out insurance. Ya no thank you! Last time going to CVS!!

Terrible pharmacy, refuses to use insurance and properly apply copays. The pharmacist tried to pressure me in to filling my prescription without suggesting any alternatives.Would NOT recommend filling your prescriptions here. Going to Walgreens down the street from now on.

I transferred my meds here from Walgreens because they were nice and efficient 3 months ago. Now they're absolutely awful. I've been trying to get a Shingles vaccine. The FDA approved it for anyone over 17yrs of age on immunosuppressive treatments a month ago. I am 40. Because I'm not 50, they required a doctor order, so they don't follow the CDC or FDA and are a pharmacy! They lost the first order so my doctor sent another. Thought I was good to get the shot. Nope. They wanted me to call every morning for an appointment that day. I did. Every day I was on hold for over an hour to get someone who had no clue and I had to explain this daily. I finally go in to pick up medicine and ask. They said it's because they're booked due to covid and flu shots. Only, the two times I've been there, there are zero people waiting for vaccines but definitely a long line at the pharmacy. I'm done wasting time after 3 weeks so I took my copy of the order from them and went to the small pharmacy on County farm who had no problem giving me the vaccine. I was in and out in 5 minutes, vaccine and meds transferred. Incompetence and corporate bs plus ignoring the FDA rules cost you a customer. My insurance gives CVS thousands a month for overpriced meds and I'm happy a deserving business now receives that.

They are listed to be able to use the Ucard from United Health Care but when I went in to use they said they do not so I ended up wasting 30 minutes shopping there and left the items on the counter.

This location has been awful for the past six months. They are short staffed, which I understand, but I’ve had to return multiple times to have my prescriptions filled. If you can’t get to it for a few hours, fine - but having to return several times with sick kids is incredibly frustrating.

Moving all of my prescriptions, one by one as I get them, to this CVS from a horrible Walgreens I've been going to for years (Fullerton & Schmale). The pharmacy people are super nice - especially that one guy (dark hair, jolly). The husband and I have been to their minute clinic MANY time. Always helpful in a pinch when your doctor can't fit you in. Never a bad experience here.

I never write reviews but I had a terrible experience trying to get care at this CVS with the minute clinic and would advise everyone to stay away. The employee with CVS was wonderful but the PA or doctor who was staffing the clinic turned me away because they require a Covid test before they would see anyone. This wouldn't be an issue if this was stated on the website or if they had let me know over the phone when I called CVS prior to driving over that they could not see me without a covid test. The PA or doctor was rude and just said good luck since they didn't have any covid testing availability and told me that I would not be seen anywhere if I didn't get tested.

Himisch in the pharmacy department refuses to take my BCBS insurance card as a first time user of the pharmacy I said he would have to run it he repeatedly said what’s this I said my insurance wouldn’t do is job and I had to pay full price for my prescription I will transfer elsewhere and recommend no one use the pharmacy department there until they get competent employees!!! You Himisch should look elsewhere for a job I witnessed you treat the customer in front of me with the same disrespect, don’t think you’re qualified for the position and I wouldn’t trust you with my medical information if you can’t type in numbers off an insurance card. Will follow up with corporate CVS making me pay full price because you don’t want your job!

The “pharmacy manager” at this CVS is a misinformed liar. She told me with 100% confidence that I’d need a COVID test to get on an international flight and also that they didn’t have any tests. Well, after freaking out and almost not going to the airport, I did decide to go and lo and behold no COVID test was needed just proof of my vaccination. They really should train and educate their staff more especially the so called pharmacy manager.

I arrived to pick up my prescription and it took them 20 minutes to finally tell me they didn't have the medicine I needed I stock. I understand these things happen. So I went a couple days later and arrived at 8:50pm only to be told I could not pick up my prescription because the pharmacist had left early. Really? Will not be returning to CVS.

You cannot trust this pharmacy to give you the medicine you need especially when you have to take it consistently, one of the pharmacists said they would make the supply thirty days so it would be cheaper for me,it only works til 8pm and I work twelve hours and drove so fast just to be able to pick up my script, I came at the window at 7:59 and they were already closed even though it says eight pm, I came back two days to find out that they didnt adjust the script to thirty days like me and the pharmacist agreed to, they said for me to come back later which I barely have time to do, and I havent taken the medicine for four days, I recommend to go to another CVS or Walgreens, you cannot rely on them to keep their word, you have to double check their work

They're usually pretty good. Just make sure that you have everything together before you go and don't wait until the last minute, or you will have problems. Pharmacist there named Raihan is really cool and helpful. Would recommend

It was hard to find a place that would accept my Humira deliveries until CVS Pharmacy in Carol Stream helped me for years, but this month, with no reason, they just said no more and they won't accept my Humira, I'm in pain because my arthritis is getting worse and I'm looking for another pharmacy who can accept my Humira delivery, it is no cost to the pharmacy to accept the delivery and the insurance pays everything but I feel disappointed in CVS pharmacy, I feel like they should take care of every clients health, but they didnt.Judith Munoz
