We needed a site for one night and I called the phone number and left a message with the requested information. Mikki called me back quickly to confirm that they had an available site. They offered a discount which is always appreciated and they consider dogs as part of the family, so my two pups were very welcome. Nice little family run camp ground. The electrical, and water worked well. Water was very high in iron and you will need your filter. When I stayed, early April the showers were closed due to the climate (too cold). The restroom was clean, and decorated perfectly. It was a very relaxing, comfortable over night stay. I would go back. Great customer service. The highway noise is challenging, and I found that by turning on my fan (attached to the AC), it would drown out most of it. Look at the attached pics... these are nice little sites. I have a 23 ft TT, but there are larger spots for much larger rigs. Call the office if you need more detail. They are very helpful.

We really enjoyed our time at Kamp Komfort Micci and her family are great people and super friendly we stayed in a site closer to the interstate but really didn’t notice it much and the train only came a few times a week and usually around 11 pretty easy relaxing place don’t drive on the grass and pickup your dogs poop were the biggest rules which are pretty reasonable rules can’t say enough about them

What a nice campground! Passing thru and needed a one night stay, host was friendly and helpful, guided us to a perfectly clean and almost perfectly level shady spot. Very affordable and super clean, every inch of it. Cleanest and nicely done bathroom and shower, also has in ground pool also in perfect shape. Sweet story about how this little gem came to be. Read it on this site - we’d definitely return if our travels took us this way again.

This is a wonderful campground to stay at for any length of time.We stayed here for two nights, once going out to Alaska and returning from our Alaskan trip. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. Sites are nice and well spaced out. All pull thru sites as well. Restrooms are immaculate and spotless. There is even a very nice pool if that is something you like.We highly recommend Kamp Komfort and would stay there again if our travels take that way in the future.

We spent 4 nights here while in Bloomington for a family reunion. We arrived after hours and happy to see a reservation envelope waiting for us. The owner chose a perfect spot for us. Yes there is road noise from the highway, but it never bothered us (we ran AC entire time so not sure with windows open). Hookups were great, grounds were well kept and bathrooms were like new!!! Very comfortable and we’d love to go back. Thank you Kamp Komfort :)

Updated campground. Previously a KOA so the layout is good. Building, restrooms have been updated. It’s very nice and very clean. The pool is beautifully maintained. There’s only 1 washer dryer combo working in the ladies room as of today but I assume that will be remedied. The only real downside is that it’s close to the freeway so there is some noise so run a fan at night. On the plus side it’s by the freeway so it’s easy to get to and easy to find.

This was an excellent location for an overnight stop. Close to the highway... downside .... close to the highway... so traffic was a bit loud. Park is well kept and everyone was super nice. We would stay here again.

This is my first campground review after 20 years of camping.The low ranking is b/c of the noise being right next to interstate, and, most importantly, because of very unprofessional staff/owner.We were there over labor day weekend and yet there was no one there when we needed help.They don't have campfire rings at campsite, you must go to office to obtain one. Yet, when we went to get one at office at 4:pm on a Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend, no one was there to help. In fact there was a sign next to office telling us NOT to ring or call adjacent house next door where they reside.So, we did a campfire that night on gravel, not grass.That next morning, the owner comes up to our door and she admonishes us like we were her children for doing a campfire. She was completely untrained in professionalism and how to resolve issues.When I told her no one was in office and that it said not to call or ring doorbell, she almost screamed, "well then you should have called the campground phone!"I was stunned at her attitude then told her not to worry and that I would clean up the ashes from campfire as I tried to diffuse the issue. In the remaining two hours there, they must have come by 3 times, and they were not friendly, at all.We left without further incidence and just concluded she'd had a bad day.The next month we decided to stay there again. We called to make reservations, and even left a message. No call back! Clearly this was done on purpose.So we instead, stayed at Morraine View State park where it was prettier, half the price, and staff was very courteous.Camp Comfort is a pretty campground, but very noisy since it's right next to I70. But, staff is not around that much and there are no campfirerings. I've never seen such a thing.

Nothing really new to say. No new photos to post.Pros; Extremely clean, detailed attention to facilities, to bathrooms and shower house, excellent kind staff, shade.Neg; Next to Freeway. I mean I could throw a football and hit semitrucks and cars doing 75mph. Very noisy all night. A great place to stay for a night maybe two when rest is really needed. I just like less noise due to my pop up on wheels. The choice to stay is up to you.

Private campground, owners are fantastic and live on site. They guided us directly to our site. Sites are either full service 30 or 50 amp. Reviewed campground rules upon arrival. Shower and rest rooms are some of the cleanest we have ever seen while camping and pass code protected. Pool area was clean. Basic playground for the kids. Most sites have some form of shade from the trees. Grass around the campground and camp sites are well maintained. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We stopped here on a recent trip. It was convenient and clean. Very quiet though the highway traffic could get loud. That didn't bother us since we sleep with a fan. There is also a railroad track next to it but no trains went by that we noticed. Plenty of space to walk the dogs. The sites are long enough to stay hooked up. There is plenty of shade from the trees. They each have a picnic table and are wide enough for slides and awnings. It is easy to maneuver around, though the entrance drive is single lane and has curves, so only 1 vehicle at a time can get through. It is a nice place and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Wish we could have met Micci in person! We were met by a helpful guy who led us to our site even though we got there after hours. He also suggested the nearby Carlock restaurant for dinner and that was appreciated - the food was really good! We will definitely stop here again and highly recommend this small, family run campground.

I gave them a 4 because the place is very clean and nice shower house. Sites are all full hook up. The staff was excellent . The sites are very level and plenty of room. There is not really a store there. They do sell ice and ice cream. Some sites have concrete patios. A nice feature. There was a drought so no fires and they use portable fire pits which keeps it clean. I thought the price was reasonable. The only thing I saw that I did not care for was the traffic. They are right off I74 interstate but if you are traveling and need a quick place to stay overnight and get a shower and unload and load your rig it definitely will work. Overall I would stay there again. I was there for a reunion near by so did not spend alot of time there. Wifi worked pretty good.

Very nice, well kept campground. Owners very nice people. Only problem is it is in between a railroad track and hwy 74 so it can and does get pretty noisy at times so hopefully you are a heavy sleeper.

This place was perfect for us. Slight noise from the freeway, but that's part of why we chose it. Convenient. Didn't keep us awake in the rv. Electric, water & sweage @ each site. Pull thru sites. I didn't explore the entire grounds tho. Wonderful bath house. Only thing I didn't like was you had to ask for a fire ring and you could only put it in the gravel. If you have a longer rv & smaller length site, there's no room left for a ring.

We arrived without a reservation, late in the afternoon. We were greeted warmly and were escorted to clean, spacious site. The sites are full hookup, with 20, 30or 50 amp service. There is a pool that looked inviting. The bathrooms were the best I have seen in our many years of camping. They are large and clean. Fire pits are provided for free and wood is available for $10.00. The only negative is the campground is close to the highway so that there is road noise.

Very nice campground. Site was full hookup and pull through. We arrived after office hours, but the owners had a welcome packet ready for us. The bathrooms and showers were very clean with plenty of hot water. The campground is close to the highway, so it's a little noisy, but we would stay again.

Very long pull thru sites. We have a 44' fifth wheel and did not have to unhook as we were there only for one night. Easy in and out. Check is very easy and fast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Trash pick up at your site. Sites are level.As other reviews have stated, the highway is right next to the park. We could hear it when we were awake, but it did not keep us up at night.We camped at Kamp Komfort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This place was AMAZING! A+ Great customer service: quick to call me back, allows communication via text messages, friendly, clear and accurate communication!The bathrooms were lovely and clean. The location is fantastic- super convenient to the interstate. The grounds are well kept and beautiful with large shade trees and grassy areas. There’s even trash pick up from your camping site! In the future, I might even change my route just to stay here!

She wasn’t very pleasant on the phone when I booked. Then she was rude to my husband about a water hose being left on. He was using it and went to grab our 1 year old and didn’t turn it off all the way. Instead of kindly asking him to turn it off she rudely said “turn that hose off”. Kindness goes a long way especially when you are far from home. Hopefully she takes that into consideration when running a business where people are spending their money at your campground.•It’s right off the highway so you can hear the noise from that if it bothers you.Overall, it’s a great campground especially if you are just stopping for a couple nights. Our daughter had a great time on the playground.
