Staff is very helpful here. More so than most Walmarts I've been to. And I Love that the set up is the way it is and I don't have to go all the way to the back of the store for the things I buy the most.

I love the fact some prices are a bit cheaper there. The cashiers were friendly enough, just need to smile more. Also had to go to the pharmacy, they were absolutely amazing there, so helpful and friendly.

I like the fact that I am able to buy me and both for me is always a good quality in some cases things like they're frozen vegetables are on sale which makes it a little more cost effective some things such as paper products or a little more expensive so I go other places for those things produce is usually in very good quality also staff is always nice and pleasant and very helpful

Really need more floor help. And once again, a customer was left for quite some time waiting for assistance in the back of the store. I personally saw him ask 3 WalMart Employees for help and finally got a guy who hesitated but then helped the guy.Thank You Sir

This is the only Walmart I still patronize. We live close enough to shop Carlinville, Jerseyville, Godfrey, and Wood River within relatively similar distances, and if it weren't for this location, I wouldn't shop Walmart at all anymore.The employees are friendly and helpful; the store is kept in order and clean; items are stocked and priced correctly; there aren't crowded rows of pallets in the main aisles waiting to be sorted by their stock crew; bathrooms are always tidy; carts are always being collected; and I never have to wait in line for long periods of time. They have plenty of cashiers in addition to self-checkout, so there is the option for whichever you prefer. They have curbside pickup, but I haven't had to use it because I enjoy being in their store. I have begrudgingly utilized other Walmart locations' curbside pickups in the past because I couldn't fathom stepping foot inside. Should I need to do a curbside pickup in a pinch, I would have full confidence that the Carlinville team would exceed my efficiency expectations.Thank you to those operating and managing this location! It isn't easy at times to work/manage a retail store, but you all are running a successful team and shopping experience. Thank you for knowing that a job done well is done easily when you show an authentic appreciation of the experience your work gives others.

This is a smaller Walmart. It carries the basic necessities and some above but I couldn't find some ordinary items that are carried in other stores.

They need to bring back human cashier's!!Also a month ago we bought 3 DVD all 3 were defective and we have given nothing but trouble getting the copies that will work we returned it 5 times and we were told we can't have our money back or change them for other movies that work we actually prefer to get the titles we got to work but this had gone on way to long!! Carlinville Walmart is the only one to give me such trouble

Can hear employees being yelled at by other employees in the back. Employees run over children with carts. Bathrooms are always a mess. I don't know where other reviewers have shopped but this store sucks compared to before covid. None of the employees can be bothered to help and they act like you're killing them to do their job.

Pick up order was very smooth. I pulled up and signed into the app. I didn't sit there very long. Polite and great service. Please next time less bags and if need to double up do so. That's the only complaint I have. Otherwise Carlinvillle Wal-Mart is great for pick ups.

22 pick up spots, for an hour we waited while not a single other car showed up for curbside... We had to walk in,interrupt the employees social hour,and still wait 10 minutes for them to find our 2 piece order.How can they manage 22 pickups when 1 had overwhelmed 3 staff despite having an hour to fullfil it.

A smaller Walmart,but they keep it fairly well stocked with all the best sellers. Hard to get anybody on the phone at night. I am handicapped and most of the time they do have a scooter available. I wood give this Store a 4 star review, except for a man named CHRIS JONES, He has helped me out with my groceries a couple of times and a nicer young man will be hard to find.

Store was nice except for remodeling which will be nice in the end. The only real complaint was the toilets. They don't flush well. Not enough water pressure and not long enough to empty the bowl.

Reasonable selection of goods but the biggest problem is the self check, they rely on it too much and usually only have at best one actual lane open besides the tiny tobacco checkout. People go to the store to shop and then check out not do the work of someone who needs employment. If the managers could figure that out the store would be much better.

I love shopping at Walmart. It is my go-to store when I need to buy anything. This particular Walmart has been doing some upgrades and moving things around. It feels smaller which feels nice to me. When you walk down and aisle it doesn't feel so wide open.

I shop here all the time, but today I was hurt and I couldn't walk without being in pain. I had to use a scooter, it helped so much! I did self check out And the clerk was so helpful. I appreciated the whole trip. Thanks.

Being nice and exhibiting good service is one thing, ALL the employees with whom I've come in contact go WAY above and beyond. They are ridiculously nice and helpful.The store is clean and stocked. The clearance section truly makes you fellel like you're getting a good deal.I don't live in this city, but I make sure to visit Walmart whenever I'm in town.

Different floor plan than Walmart I'm use to, but found everything I was looking for. Far better than Litchfield Walmart! Had everything I was wanting, and sufficient check out lanes for amount of people shopping. Even had things i wanted that Litchfield doesn't!!
