It is now almost 9 months since we informed RP Lumber that the pressure treated 2x6x16 lumber that we purchased from them that has a lifetime warranty was defective. You sent out a person from the treatment plant and an employee from the Carlinville store to see the defective material that we used on our deck and my husband broke through. We have contacted you and the Carlinville store multiple times with no response. Is this how you do business?? No response?? We have been patient and waited long enough for a response and for RP to make good on the warranty.

Almost 9 years ago we built a new wood deck for our home and purchased treated 2x6 boards that had a lifetime warranty for the original buyer. Two months ago I stepped through one of the rotten boards. I contacted RP Lumber immediately and they came out and looked at the deck and wood and said they would get back to me. Since then I have called the Carlinville location three times and each time I have been told they would check on it and call me right back. As of today I have not received a single call back. What does it take to get my warranty covered????

Helpful when you can catch them open. Pulled up on a Saturday at 11:55 and was met by a worker in the parking lot who waved me away saying they closed at noon. I pointed out that it was only 11:55 and I only needed a few items. Rather then make a sale they turn away a local customer. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.

Got what I needed at the Carlinville RP Lumber. They were courteous and helpful as always. Carlinville is lucky to have this place...please support them.
