Looked like a little hole in the wall but we were hungry and it was close. We walked in the door and were very pleasantly surprised how cute it was inside. The girl who waited on us was so friendly and on the ball.We decided on the special of the tender loin sandwich... oh my!!!! It was out of this world and a week later we are still talking about how good it was.May not look like much on the outside but like a book don't judge it by it's cover. 100% have to try!!!

My husband and I come for brunch every week. The food is always fantastic, especially breakfast, and reasonably priced. We went to Denny's in Litchfield instead once and paid twice as much for food that was half the quality. Service is always top notch as well. Highly recommend the breakfast shoes, omelettes, pancakes (literally the size of the entire plate), and patty melt.

The restaurant was pretty busy and customers looked happy. I felt rushed though. I was handed a menu and my drink was brought right back. I bearly had time to look at the menu before I was asked what I wanted. I asked for more time. As I was taking my first bite I was stoped to to see if I needed anything. The food was very good but the portions where small. At least I wasn't charged extra for the hashbrowns. Lol. All amd all I was a good place to eat. I will definitely be going back.

It was Mother's Day and the place was packed! Our waitress was fast and friendly and the food was wonderful. Prices are great. This place has never disappointed and on a day I would have expected things to not be as perfect I was pleasantly surprised how well everything went. If you have not eaten here I would recommend it.

A unique, colorful atmosphere, great service, and delicious breakfasts! I also love their fried chicken and Reubens. If you're from Carlinville, you'll probably run into people you know. A great, friendly hometown restaurant!

We went on a Saturday morning they were quite busy. We were seated quickly and our food came out super fast. Our food was hot and delicious. It was nice how often the checked to see if we needed refills.Parking: Huge parking lot

My grandma and I came here for lunch about a year ago. It was amazing. The chicken strips I had were so good. They tasted hand battered and not frozen which is very nice. Our waitress was very good and checked on us. It's a nice small restaurant with good food.

Just came home from brunch with my family and I was very happy. I love to see the variety on the menu. I loved my Walleye fritters. Everyone at my table was satisfied. Our server was quick and so patient eaepcespec since I was so needed. We order three appetizers. And I was constantly asking for more sauces but she was amazing. I never hit the bottom of glass of sweet tea.I had a really good morning thanks to the Cooks and Shelana at The Plaza Cafe.

A nice place to sit and visit while enjoying a good meal. Waitresses are friendly and on the ball. Recommend that you try their fried chicken,...their meatloaf,.....their BLT,.....their burgers and fries..... IF it's on their menu, it's good. Had their meatloaf again today...nowhere did it say smothered in BBQ sauce instead of ketchup. (NOT HAPPY WITH THIS SURPRISE BBQ SAUCE TOPPED MEAL.)

We had breakfast, it's was really good! The food was as if I cooked it at home, everything was hot & fresh ☺ The pancakes are really good, we ordered the chocolate chip ones, next time I am going to try the blueberry pancakes.

I always love coming to this Mom & Pop cafe in Carlinville. Everytime I've eaten there the food is fantastic! They have fried pickles which are delicious 😋
