Moved here from Atlanta... SINCE March 2022 CUSTOMER... 1st Time Home Owner Here... LOL🤣LOL.WOW, what an all new experience and couldn't survive without these folks... I ❤️ ACE HARDWARE in downtown Carlinville....I forgot the young guys name that was so professional helping me with springtime gardening and so forth of tools and supplies..Met the manager who showed me around of their vast assortment of practically anything you might need for home repair and supplies..This store is deeply planted with everything or even anything you can DREAM of.. well stocked shelves with heavy inventory.. exceptional and courteous staff......a definite home town feeling and warm atmosphere.. thank Y'all for being so helpful with my new home...Also, very clean and well maintained environment store......they truly care about their customers and take graat pride in exuding courteous, professional, and exceptional customer service at the Carlinville Ace Hardware Store!👍.🇺🇸 #GoAceHardware 🇺🇸 #Carlinville 🇺🇸.🙏 #ThankYou 🙏 #Grateful 🙏

Great hardware store. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have just about everything you need.We needed plants for a shaded area. Talked to Bobbi and she helped us find the right plants for our project.

One of my favorite stores! Smaller than a normal Ace. They do screen repairs and cut keys and glass. They have dollar sections throughout. There is a hidden room that has mowers and birdbaths and other yard stuff. There's so many little things and rooms in here to look at that it takes me forever everytime I go in.

A great locally owned hardware store with helpful staff and great selection. I went here on a whim to try and find a specialty bolt and nut that I needed and they had exactly what I needed. Another reason to love Carlinville!

Was not the best service. Dan was very rude. He did not acknowledge me or even greet me courteously when called to assit me at paint counter by the cashier due to her not being able to leave her station. I mentioned it to cashier about his rudeness and she stated tgey were short handed. My philosophy is I Don't care. I'm a paying customer and she be greeted with a smile and acknowledged.

Everything way overpriced and if your looking for several of a specific item, you hardly ever have it, and we are inconvenienced of having to go to another store for it, when you should have extras of everything, in case this happens. Your reward perks suck, for all the money we spend, we hardly get rewarded. You send discounts only for "ONL", when we Nevef or online but shop "Instore, I have emailed customer service multiple times letting them know, how dissatisfied we are that your not sending us these offer's, we should have a choice to shop online or instore and use these offers as we wish!!!!

In the process of relocating back to Carlinville, we are doing major renovations to our home, sometimes making three or four trips to Ace every day. Each time staff has been friendly and helpful. When the warehouse couldn't fill an order for something we needed for at least a week, the management arranged for the product to be gathered from multiple stores and delivered to this store so we would have it the next day. Now THAT's service. Thank you for helping prevent delays so we could continue with our work.

They would not honor the gift card I received for Christmas. They said their store doesn't take gift cards purchased from Ace online. Well, that's helpful. Now I have a gift card the local Ace won't take--purchased from Ace. Horrible customer service...no effort in trying to help.

Always have exactly what I need when I go. I only go here If I have to. And I know It is because it's small town store, jus like IGA was. Which is why their prices are so high. I needed straight pipe to run a new vent for my dryer. 50 bucks. I support my town in other ways like donating to school events helping w fundraisers and paying at gas stations for donation type things. Being a small town ACE should mean lower prices for the ppl in our town, but it's always the opposite. Maybe why IGA closed, who knows.

WONDERFUL SERVICE!!!I ask the checker where something was, she told me the isle, I went to that isle and within that very minute someone was there to help me!!!Good service is sometimes hard to find, BUT ACE IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO FIND GOOD SERVICE!!!
