I shopped and camped there for Eclipse 2024 with 500 other RVs, campers, tents and cars. The store had all food, gear and provisions needed. And, the people were very helpful.

Average for Walmart not great but not the worst however they are not changing the prices on their shelves leading you to believe that some things are a few dollars cheaper than what they actually are. Went last week picked up this chicken wrap for my husband's lunch thought it was only going to be $4 something like the shelf said but then seen the price on the sticker on the wrap package itself saying that it was closer to $6. (Just went in today prices on the shelves still not changed) Also bought some Pillsbury dough price underneath it was $1.98 but the price it rang up was a little over $3 I did not realize until after I left the store otherwise I would have returned.

I went shopping normally with my wife and my baby, I brought some beers (12 pack) and when I go to pay they ask for our ID (I understand) I present my ID and since my wife is with the baby she left her wallet in the car, they refuse to sell it to me and when she returns with the ID they tell her that they won't sell it to us because they already denied it to us once. But what is happening? How many IDs do I need for 12 beers? And if I bring it to you after going to the parking lot to look for it, why do they deny me? I was going to pay for them, I didn't ask for them as a gift.

I love the prices here but I'm getting completely and totally sick and fricken tired of everytime my fiance and I got in there and get ready to leave regardless if we just seen an associate we're asked for our receipt, yet others get to just walk right out. I'm really starting to believe they are stereotyping the African community because if I'm alone I don't get stooped. This really needs to stop. If you're going to stop people stop everyone.

They kindly allowed us to stay the night of the 7th. even though overnight stays are NOT allowed here. We had plenty of time to set up for and watch the eclipse in great company. Thank you Walmart !!!

This Walmart in Carbondale does the bait & switch. They post a lower price on a pallet of goods & if you don't keep an eye out at the register you will find it rings up at a higher price. They didn't want to refund my money because, get this. Management said this is a high theft store. Not good customer service

Typical Walmart. There's not a lot to say about except that you're pretty much forced to shop here unless you have pretty deep pockets. Had to do labor for them, which is why I am giving it one star. Single lane open that had a human attendant. The rest of customer traffic is forced into waiting a long time or giving Walmart some free labor. Sad state of affairs.

Sucks as always. These lines are barely moving. Three lanes open and not one competent cashier. Took over 20 minutes to get to cashier with only one person ahead of me.Well they just keep on sucking. I call and the phone just rings forever. Can't ever get through to who I want.

With all my tears about the same had really needed Associates answered mostly my questions if I had any wish they still had more Checkers to check me out instead of making me do it myself takes away from the person on person atmosphere

Good location and always well stocked.The parking lot is very dark @ night. Lots of the street lights are burned out or barley work.

Good store, stocked well. Happy Customer Service people. Great for college kids to get the things that they need for their dorms and classes. Huge parking lot with plenty of spaces too.

I noticed all of these shirts were marked as $1, so we filled our cart so I could use them as employee shirts. At the register they weren’t marked down. We waited for an hour and a half, but finally got them marked down. We ran into a few issues, but the store lead Jerry was great at resolving the issue & had great customer service. Our cashier, Andrea, was great too!! She was patient & kind the entire transaction even after having to ring them up multiple times.

I was missing almost a quarter of my order. Finally, someone answered the phone and made sure I could speak to the pick up/delivery. Cameron found my missing items and assured me that it will be delivered soon. Problem solved.

The store was very clean. How ever maybe because I’m used to my hometown Wally World, this one seemed stuff was harder to find. Again maybe I got used to another Walmart. But once upon a time see a few u get the theme down. This seemed different. But still a very nice store. Shelves were full. Restrooms were clean. Nice store

Someone outside of this store offered me 32 dollars for the hat I was wearing that I bought for like 5. I didn't take the deal, but I could have made some major profit. Don't pass up lucrative opportunities. 💵💵💰💰💰💵 😭😭

Tyler is nice as hell.Staff is nice as hell.Dude with the short blonde hair in the self checkout line is super helpful and incredibly friendly. Matter of fact years of going there all y’all’s self checkout folks have been nice as hell.Honestly your staff = 10/10.Your clientele = 0/10, we suck.Customers are weird as hell here. Idk what it is but if you go to Marion it’s nothing but trophy wives & Jeff Bezos but the second you go to the Carbondale Wal Mart it’s Wrong Turn & The Hills Have Eyes on steroids.Maybe slap a fake Target sign over the front.If we could ban all the customers and just include staff, the place would be way cooler.

They r open 24 hours a day 7 days a week an 365 days a year... They have Free WiFi if you need it... They let you sit in there and warm up if you need to at night or just if you are cold

No pricing on lots of items. The sign that says scan here for price, had all scanners removed per employee walking by. Went to self checkout, looked at overhead sign, did not say cash only. After scanning all my items and inputting my credit card, it flashed cash only. Employee said you have to look at the screen for the little statement that says cash only. Order had to be canceled and I had to go to another register and scan everything again. Total waste of customers time and great irritation.Update 4-23-2024 Better pricing, used checkout lane with walmart employee. Very nice older lady (I am older too). We had a very nice time talking. Very nice experience. Looks like things have improved.

Basic Walmart too many maskless shoppers. Not enough staff. That was then. Today 5-3-2024. Purchased keyboard adv price 12.88. charged me 21.00. will not use Walmart delivery again and will be cancelling my Walmart membership. No excuse for rip offs.

I'm going to go with 1 star on this trip. 3 things that on the app were showing available, were not available.I went to pick up a dog kennel, 15-20lbs capacity for $37. The app was showing available for pick up today. Nothing on the shelf. Ask 3 people for help and get the same "I'm sorry I'm grocery, I'm women's wear, I'm crafts!" So I proceed to call the store from inside the store and ask for assistance. The very nice lady says, "ill call for someone, I just hope they show up!" 10 minutes later and not one person come to help. This has happened in thenSikeston Missouri store a few years back. The assistant mgr goes to find an item that their system shows they have 350 units of. She proceeded to laugh and carry on and ignore my request for an item to purchase. I called the store form inside that store aswell and asked for the manager. I was asked to to not return for 2 weeks, as my attitude was very poor. I responded with an even poorer attitude "let me know how that works out for you!" Well I'm sorry but your team members help an customer. Your literally being replaced by automated systems, and scan and go apps on phones. Your jobs now have a shelf life.

We had a really nice staff member help us get something off the shelf for us and he even had his hands full when I asked him to get it and instead of saying just a minute or I will get you someone he simply put the stuff he was carrying down , said take me and show me what you need ! He was awesome ! The cashier at check out was very rude though , she was not friendly at all and it wasn't like anyone was complaining at her , she just was unfriendly , seemed like she just didn't have time for her job or the customers but then we got to the door and the friendly door greeter smiled and wished us a good evening so 2 out of 3 staff we encountered was very nice !
