Was looking to purchase a lawnmower. The site said there were 14 in-stock. However, there were no boxes of them in their bay area. We pushed help button and finally a nice gentleman named Chris from another department came to assist. He looked everywhere for the in-stock items. He finally found them on other side of store. He brought one to us, checked us out and even helped load the mower. He was so polite and helpful. Thank you Chris for your help! Maui even did a little shopping at Lowes. He found 2 barkbox toys he just had to buy. Thrilled Lowes is pet friendly as Maui loves to follow mama everywhere.

What a great hardware / everything store.. Lowe's is out of my way and not my go to store but they had what I needed when no one else did.. Was a Good experience, I was in and out, walked to the appliance area greeted an employee, said I need this Whirlpool Washer and as quick as I walked in we were wheeling it out. He was very helpful and polite asking and making sure I had all I needed for the job..👍👍Thanks again.

I was looking for a specific zero turn mower and inquiring about payment options. Chris with appliances found the best option for what I was wanting and offered assistance with buying a mower even though it wasn’t his department. He was knowledgeable, kind, understanding, extremely helpful and well spoken! PLEASE give this man a raise so he stays with Lowe’s. He MUST be recognized as a top tier employee and valued as an employee!

I really wanna give the store five stars. They have an issue of not enough staff, you go in to buy something and you expect someone to understand what you need and in which department it’s in the last four times I’ve been in the store there wasn’t enough staff to wait on you, and only one or two of them knew what department the item was in. Also, they now no longer do in-store processing for projects. They send someone picked from a call center that is in Texas. I am sorry, but another state does not know which group of people are the best workers for a job in a local market. Also I would recommend you quit using the cheapest bid and actually hire for quality

We recently bought a curbside pick-up dishwasher, while they were running a sale. The dishwasher works great and we have had zero issues with it. We went with online ordering and curbside pick-up. Online ordering was quick and easy to manage, pick-up was also fairly easy aside from not quite knowing where the pick-up section was for our order. It took us a moment to figure out where to go, but once we had that squared away the rest was super easy. The associate brought out our appliance and helped load it into our vehicle and that was it. Fast and friendly.

This review is actually for my brother who lives in the area. He was at Lowe’s for over 2 hours and there was no help to be found in the paint department. Announcements were made several times for someone to come and assist him, and he was among at least 6 customers who needed help! He was beyond frustrated. To make matters worse, he had selected a dryer to purchase and it took the store and extended period of time to even get the dryer for him!Disappointing experience for a store that has quality products. Store management needs to address the lack of competent people who can assist customers.

I’m 63. Been a contractor since I was 18. Lowes literally has the lowest quality prehung interior doors. Delivered beat up dirty chipped falling apart. The quality of construction was awful. Barely stapled. Miters do not match doors hang wrong in frame.

First let me say allowing only 1 survey receipt a month should be changed. I already used my one and couldn't tell you about my great experience through the survey. I went in to get a quote on windows and was helped by Chris Sisulak. To my surprise you beat Home Depots prices. Chris was great to work with. So happy I checked in with Lowes before purchasing.

The store is nice and clean and big a large selection of everything I went for the plants and they were most beautiful well taken care of I wasn't surprised there were several birds that made the gardencenter there home it felt like I was I. The tropics when I explored that area everything was hardy and well priced the employees were helpful and friendly lime they enjoyed working. There and took pride In there work

Do not expect to get anything delivered from Lowes. We bought doors a few years ago and had several rescheduled deliveries and recieved the wrong doors once they did deliver. So we had to reschedule again. For some crazy reason we went back there for a dryer. They scheduled delivery for 11-3 on Tuesday. Didn't show up until after 4 and the dryer was BROKEN. So they rescheduled for Thursday between 12-4. We got a call at 4:30 that the driver called us but could find our house and had moved onto the next place. They wanted to reschedule for NEXT TUESDAY! We did NOT receive any calls from the driver and none if their other people ever had problems finding our house. Needless to say we asked for a full refund and will NEVER shop at Lowes again.

Mark was very very helpful. We came looking for a smoker and we got the pit boss pro series. Mark talked to us about the item, answered our questions, gave us an honest review based on his own experience with the same product, and helped us load it on a cart.Very pleased

Great employees. Employees will take me to the item I am looking for right away if I can't find it no matter how small the item is. If they don't know, they will look it up or ask someone.I also use the app in the store or to order things that I can pick up at the store.

I love this place. Just wish they stayed open past 9pm! Jeewhiz, that's the only bummer I can think of. Staff are nice and friendly. Knowledgeable. They've got some great sales from time to time I find myself skipping to the parking lot pushing a cart full of joy!

Since 2014 I have used Carbondale Lowes for everything I needed for my business. Last year I purchased a Ethan & Ross Track Light Section for my wall display from Lowes, and today one of the lights went out. I took in the part I needed and showed them what burnt out. To my surprise they do not carry the replacement bulb, or part. I asked if they had this part and the answer was no. The only options I had was to contact the manufacturer, for a replacement or purchase a whole new kit for 189.99. Knowing that it probably would take a month or so to get a replacement part from the manufacturer I asked if I purchased a new one for 189.99, would they at least save me a little money today to get my light fixed. They wouldnt. I asked to speak to the manager of the store, and it was clear they are not interested in retaining customers. I explained that since you are not willing to help another business or a proven customer that I would purchase the light and furthermore not do business with them again. 10% of 189.99 is around 20.00 dollars. To them I am not worth that. The sad part of all this is the thousands of dollars they will loose over 20.00 dollars to help a loyal customer. Businesses have to do better!

Extremely poor customer service at the store and customer service for their credit card. Duplicate charge on my account. And I called five different times before anyone called me back and now they say it's going to take 60 days to resolve. I would highly suggest avoiding Lowe's and shopping at menards or home depot instead if you care about accurate billing.

Says online that they're open till 10pm but at the store itself it says that they close at 9pm. I wasted gas and time just to find that out. Disappointing on the fact that Lowes company is misleading on important information for their consumers. No hate on the store or the employees themselves, they are actually wonderful people, just that Lowes itself can't seem to keep themselves in check of a basic public knowledge.

I like to update my review because I believe this place is filled with managers who are only self serving, brother ☝️. A union would be good, brother☝️. Lowes corporate is watching this my fellow brothers. ☝️☝️ We can assume only unqualified individuals would disagree with this post. We have to ask the questions if the individuals who run this store are even qualified to run a mitre saw brother ☝️

Twice I had difficulties getting purchases delivered. One item took 3-4 weeks and the 2nd heavy purchase I was told to hire someone to pick up the items and delivery them at my expense. I had ordered the items to be delivered from Chicago since I know Carbondale Lowes doesn't do deliveries well.

I really like this store and drive past Home Depot often to go to this store. The garden department has just about anything I've needed for my lawn work. The home projects people are very friendly and we used them to put a fence up. Great place and I wish there was one in Marion.

Do not shop at Lowe's. My bad experiences with them have been nothing but bad. They did a terrible job on our fence installation, and it took over 20 phone calls and months before they finally sent someone competent to fix it. Whenever I tried calling the store, I couldn't reach any management personnel. Even when I went in person and asked to speak to upper management, they claimed there was no one available to assist me. I requested a refund for the installation due to all the issues, but they refuse. Last year, we also tried to buy a washer and dryer from them, but on the delivery day, we were told it was accidentally sold to someone else, and they had to reorder it. When I complained in-store, they didn't seem to care about keeping my business and just offered a refund.It’s generous to even give them one star because they do not deserve it.

Came in specifically to get one thing and that section is roped off and marked No Entry. Was coming back to exchange a part because I bought the wrong thing; shelf was labeled wrong and product was put in wrong box. Headed to another store to get my luck elsewhere.

Unfortunately, they didn't carry the lawnmower item I had gone for. What made my trip not such a waste was a very helpful employee. Even though he had been busy working, he stopped, and we spoke for a while and was really informative about what I could do and where else I could possibly get what I needed.

Don't like the fact that you need a receipt to return stuff. Its not like we didnt spend over 5K with ya! You had seen Us in there a million times!
