I haven’t been here in awhile. We came on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm and it was busy. Only one cashier for awhile until another one showed up. Would of helped go have some self checkouts. Tons of parking available. Definitely needs a remodel and good cleaning.

I purchased a set of men's 3X thermals. The package stated "Slightly Imperfect". Since it was so cold, $5.25 would not be much to spend on a set. I got home but didn't take them out of the package until a few days later. When I opened the package, they were extremely thin. The pants looked big, but it didn't matter because they were going under my jeans. I sat on my bed and put my foot in the leg to put them on. My foot couldn't even come through the hole because It was too small. I looked astounded because this was a waste of my money... I will never purchase something again without checking inside the package!!You can tell by the pictures how thin the fabric is. The other photo shows how the sleeve and leg opening are the same size. A Dollar Tree PLUS! Some items are as high as $5, but they are very clearly marked on each item.Not the best selection of any Dollar Tree, but has nearly all you are looking for.

Came through 10/14/23 in the evening and a wonderful and kind cashier was working. Her name was CARLIE (hope I spelled it right). She will go far in life with her kind smile and her kind heart. God bless her. You have a great employee there. Thank you.

This place needs closed and remodeled badly, the store gives off such an icky vibe. It's not super clean and well taken care of like the surrounding Dollar Tree stores. I will drive to Herrin or Murphysboro Dollar Tree instead unless im in a absolute pinch. They also tend to only have one cashier so there's usually a large line with a bit of a wait.

This place is all right. Enjoy it day or night because there is always convenient parking. It's a fun place and you never what new item they'll come up with here.

Very impressed with the new items that they have coming in all the time. And can't believe was a $1. I hear they are raising it to $1.25. But still you can't beat it. I love our local Dollar Trees. Impressed with all the craft stuff they have. What fun!

It's NOT the " DOLLAR TREE "ANYMORE!!!!! NOPE!!! I WAS IN THERE,.,... ITS $1.25 FOR EVERYTHING in the place. AND.. $5 for some stuff..... They need to redo their entire add scheme. . $5 from $1 is kinda crazy. I was upset and left the store.

Very nice young lady just checked me out at the cash register. So nice having a cart full of house hold items and tolietries for under $20!!!! Definitely plan on shopping here more often. Why buy a gallon of bleach for 3 dollars when you can get it for $1.00

Very nice place to shop for just about anything. The people are always nice and smiling . Store can be a little busy at times but . That's a good thing I guess sometimes the isles can be a little congested due to the higher volume of people but there's never really been any problems with a long waiting line there's a bus stop right outside the door for people that ride the transit or the saluki Express. The bus comes by every hour

They were a little low on some things. But in 2020 thats seem to be the normal. And it could be close to when they get there truck. Me and my granddaughter was able to find ever thing we need.The staff always seem very friendly and willing to help you find anything you are looking for. We are planning a trip back this weekend for my granddaughter to do her Christmas shopping!

To the guy who worked closing on Tuesday of this week and said, "Treated like trash!" to his coworker after he checked me out: I did not in fact treat you like trash. I was very polite to you. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder which I am being medicated for and rarely make eye contact with people. My anxiety has nothing to do with your highness. Why do you think that people who look like teenage girls should be super into getting to know you as you check out their groceries? If you seriously believed *that* was poor treatment from a customer, I don't think you will survive working with the public for very long without changing your attitude.

No longer easily accessible with children under 5. Normally you can count on retail stores to provide a safe spot to place your child during your visit, in a cart. But this location no longer has enough carts and has breakable items and other dangerous items low-shelved. Unfortunately won't be able to use this service anymore for that reason.Sincerely, the mother of 2 under 3.

This Dollar Tree location is disappointing. Both pre and post covid, it's cluttered and haphazardly organized even first thing in the morning. Yet there's also huge areas with no product. Granted, it's a bigger and busier store for the area, but it should also have more staff to zone and work the floor.

I LOVE dollar tree. But yesterday there was a sick cashier coughing and hacking EVERYWHERE. Coughed straight into both bare hands several times before handing me my change and bags. I understand people get sick but at least have the common sense to cough into your elbow or at least away from the people standing in front of you instead of directly at them. I went yesterday, woke up this morning and am now sick as a dog. 🤮 so unprofessional, unsanitary, and just rude!

Dont come here if you are in a rush. I came for a couple of drinks before a movie. Two lanes were open but only one had an employee at the register. A lady in front of me with about a hundred items that she wants rang up in a certain way is in front of me. What seems to be the manager stops what he is doing to hold conversation with this lady which slows her down. If I was a manager with two lanes open, one unmanned, and a customer with only two items is being held up by a customer with too many to count I would not stand there chit chatting. I had to leave my items to catch my movie in time. The manager saw this and did not try anything at all to make the situation better. He just let me walk past him as he watched.

I worked for Carbondale Dollar Tree in the late 90s and it was NEVER as bad as it is now. It is unsafe to walk through, with boxes stacked nearly to the ceiling, and U-boats so over loaded that they no longer sit level. The store is not ADA compliant, as you can't even get the store provided carts through the aisles, and they are smaller than a standard wheelchair. And this is not just on truck days, but an EVERY DAY occurance. The manager is rude and unhelpful, and obviously cares nothing about the appearance of the store, nor the safety of the customers or employees. I now drive an extra 15 minutes away to go to the DuQuoin Dollar Tree, because their store is the perfect example of a great store. I have taken several photos of the Carbondale store and sent them on to corporate. If nothing changes, I will contact the BBB, as well as the local Health Department, because the coolers are such a mess as well, and I'm surprised no one has reported getting sick yet. NEVER SHOP AT CARBONDALE DOLLAR TREE! If I could give a zero, I would.

Never had a problem with this store until today. I got out my car when I was yelled at by a staff member to tell me that store was closed so I politely asked why and she replied rudely that they were having problems. I get that maybe she isn't allowed to share the information as to why it's closed but not sharing sounds odd and she didn't have to be so rude about it either. Also tried calling to see what was going on and no one answered.

This store is so big, my wife and I got lost and separated. So we used a tactic we saw on the survival show "Portlandia".. We yelled "Aye OH Riva!!" Until we finally found one another again... Thank gosh for that show!! and ohh.. this store is awesome too...
