The cookies are wonderful. Thw butter beer is great. They need to update the prices on their menus. Charged me 25 cents more than what the butter beer was listed as on the menu. The guy working the counter could be a little more friendly towards customers as well. The building itself has some historical significance and the inside is of the shop is very cute. Over all, its a cute place to visit once or twice.

Great locally owned ice cream and candy shop! I love the homemade ice cream and milk shakes. Nice place to pick-up unique gifts as well. Alice makes everyone feel welcome.

Confectionary shop serving lunch fare in the former Lewis Pharmacy building. Lunch selections include sandwiches and wraps, salads,, various specialty hot dogs, and a soup of the day. The shop retains the former pharmacy's soda fountain and offers fountain drinks, floats, traditional milk shakes and malts, and sundaes. There are also popcorn treats and chocolates and other candies. The service is prompt and courteous.

My husband and I live in Texas, and when we are in the Canton area visiting family, we always visit The Sweet Shoppe. Love the homemade ice cream and ice cream treats at the soda fountain, lunch, caramel corn, candies, greeting cards, gift items -- and the great service! And also appreciate that the soda fountain and booths remain as they were when the drug store was established years ago. A great local business!

We have gone to The Sweet Shoppe for many years for their phosphate sodas! They have a vintage soda fountain that makes amazing sodas. The owners and staff are so kinda. I have never had a bad experience at The Sweet Shoppe! Highly recommend!

Quaint candy shop that makes a lot of their own candy. They have lots of unusual gifts, etc. I was looking for some sugar free chocolate creams and they filled the bill. Very nice lady owns the business. I highly recommend that you go and do a little shopping there. They are a local small business and would appreciate your business.

My husband took me here when he brought me to his hometown for for first time... I love it. Cute candy shop that when not in a pandemic has a soda machine and milkshakes with cute booths and barstools... I pray they reopen this part of the store.

Food is standard, uninspired, and mediocre. The only asset the place has, is the ice cream, which is made with a basic ice cream mix, with custom additions by staff.The chocolates and much of the candy is factory purchased and shipped, and only bagged onsite by staff, with occasional bulk chocolate creations, such as chocolate-dipped pretzels or candies made from painting molding forming trays with pastilles, then filling with milk chocolateThe only truely hand-made items in the store, is the caramel corn, and the peanut brittle. Everything else is bulk purchased online to resell with as wide a profit margin as possible to customers.

Like a candy shop from the sixties. If only the prices were from the sixties life would be perfectly sweet. Fun soda fountain and boothes in back. Simple snack menu, no grill, no sandwiches. Fun browse.

An absolute must stop, I've been bringing my kids here forever. Homemade ice cream, malts, popcorns, cookies. Alice and everyone else is fantastic! A crown jewel for Canton.

One of the few remaining soda fountains around. The strawberry malt I had was delicious as was the chicken wrap for lunch. Friendly service and a nice place to stop by. Check it out.
