I brought my new kitten Saga into Oakdale & Dr Amanda & the tech staff were so good with her!The facility is clean & well kept, with plenty of space & a desk in between to keep cats away from dogs or reactive dogs to themselves.They were kind enough to give me the clinic email to send in records rather than making an extra trip, & Dr Amanda called me herself with recommendations.Everyone was so kind, both to me & my kitten. They were very gentle with her & made sure she was calm & comfortable the whole time.

Our Norman was a very unique guy. He filled the gap left when our boys moved on in life. Oakdale helped try their best in saving his life. Unfortunately he had to cross that rainbow bridge. The team was very understanding and empathetic to our feelings. They comforted us as we had to make the hard decision to say goodbye. When we do decide to have another fur baby in our lives they will definitely be our veterinarians. Thank you Oakdale.

Truly the best vet experience ever. Dr. Kyle met us and listened to what we had to say about Peanut, and then they went to work trying to solve his problems. At every turn we got an explanation, and when there wasn't one they leveled with us about the issues. Every time someone came in Peanut greeted them. He was never afraid of anyone. When we left with meds and advice we were satisfied that he had had the best, most thorough experience possible. We will be back! Thank you to everyone!

We have taken our dogs and a few sweet kitties to Oakdale for a decade, and the care provided for each one has been exceptional, professional, and timely. From puppy shots all the way to palliative care and back to puppy shots again, they have been amazing. The love, advice, care, and compassion shared with all our babies at each visit keeps us coming back and knowing that our babies are getting the absolute best care.

Kyle and Amanda are amazing Vets. They are professional and down to earth. They take the time to explain it to you, especially to someone like me who sometimes needs to have it simplified at times. 😆 they work great with all kinds of animals and can usually fit me in last minute. I have been going to Oakdale for several years and my doggos ❤️ their Vet. I will always recommend Amanda and Kyle for other people's dogs or any other kind of pet. They also take care credit too. So they do work with you to get your pet the care it needs. The receptionist staff have become so much more friendly then the last lady who was there. She had a bit of an attitude problem and seemed like she hated her job and the people who came in. But she doesn't work there anymore Thank God.

First of all: if I could rate ten stars ⭐️ I would.My little (Mimi) was suffering from bad allergies, and it had gone on long enough. She began to get an infection. She had a severe reaction to flea medication (almost 5 years ago) and I had not given her anything since. I was so afraid of it taking her life. I washed her as soon as I came inside from her walk, and used natural remedies. None of these things helped. It only got worse.I finally decided to take her to Oakdale Clinic. I am forever thankful that I did!Office girls were so nice and kind. Then Kyle came in, (After 5 minutes / I was beyond pleased) Kyle was everything I had heard he was. Very professional, kind, and caring. He found the problem immediately, and explained the plan of action. His knowledge and professionalism were exemplary, and put my mind at ease, and Mimi was calm with him as well.I had not met Amanda ( as of yet) but the next day I contacted the office, as I had a question about flea control. I had purchased the pill, (but had not had a conversation with Kyle about it) I needed to ask a question. Amanda called me right away. She ( as Kyle) was very professional and kind. She spoke with me for a few minutes and gave me the confidence I needed to proceed, and told me to call if I needed anything. Even said:” give Mimi a kiss from us! I did! Then I gave Mimi the pill. My doggies had their annual check ups and each of them had an issue. One of them had a large cyst removed the same day because Dr Amanda knows we drive from Dunlap to see them. She and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me and both my dogs.

I came to Oakdale for a second opinion when our previous vet kept taking a plethora of tests on my dog costing lots of $$$I took my dog to Oakdale and after I explained her symptoms they immediately did an ultrasound. She had a cancerous tumor. I am so thankful for the people at Oakdale. They are absolutely wonderful and won’t try to squeeze every penny out of you.

Dr. Amanda is the most compassionate, caring vet. She stayed after hours to see our beloved Boston when our vet of 32 years turned us away as it was almost closing time. She gave us the dire prognosis and made sure that Boston was comfortable as he awaited “his boy” to return home from Chicago to say goodbye and be with him during his final moment. Our family will be forever grateful for this kindness. She was a true blessing!

My older dogs all go there. Recently our female had a litter of puppies and they were great with them. Price was very reasonable for 5 puppies to get their first shots and dewormer. Could not ask for a better experience. Staff was all very helpful. Came out to car to help get them all in safely and helped getting them back out to car.

The office is inviting and stress free for our cats. Dr. Amanda gave their yearly exam and vaccinations. Both doctors provide kind and compassionate care and I feel our pets are in good hands receiving the best possible care.

We boarded our two Labradors over a long weekend. The team was very informative when my older lab showed a limp (which he has suffered for quite a while, arthritis). They gave him great treatment and attention. Our other lab is a rescue with some social anxiety, she had a great time and showed excitement playing! We will be back, thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about Kyle!Twice he has help us when we were not even one of his regular clients. The first time he did a sonogram on our 140lb. English Mastiff when others were not able to do so without putting her under anesthesia which was a a possible danger to her liver, which was the issue to begin with. He did it with her wide awake! I was in awe, and have told many.Now he has seen our little Sadie. Once again, not a regular client at the time. He took a lot of time with us, explained all possible options, never made us feel rushed...l could go on.Thank you Kyle! You're the best, we appreciate you, trust you, and look forward to continuing on seeing you!

We brought our Husky in to have sutures removed. The staff were kind and courteous and did the procedure quickly, even though the sutures were put in by another vet and Aurora didn't know the vet techs at Oakdale. We're quite satisfied with the service we received and hope to have many years of interaction with these fine folks.

Dr Kyle and his team at Oakdale stepped up to the plate when it came to an emergency situation with our lab. He was very compassionate and cared for Marley with love and grace. I’m beyond thankful they were there at our darkest time in Marleys life despite not being a client of theirs. Any of our future pets will certainly become theirs. Oakdale could have easily turned us away that day but didn’t. Tim and I cannot thank you all enough.

My 13 year-old Maltese had many dental issues requiring teeth to be pulled and others cleaned. I was very anxious about this due to her age, but Dr. Kyle did a fantastic job. She felt better immediately! I didn’t realize how uncomfortable she had been. Dr. Amanda consulted with me on a new diet for her because she was a very picky eater before surgery, and now having fewer teeth, I anticipated that being even worse. Sadie is now eating heartily on a diet of Purina ProPlan Adult Classic canned food that has an applesauce-like consistency, and shredded, boiled chicken breast. Oakdale has always cleaned Sadie’s teeth, and they have always done a great job! They are very caring people who always treat Sadie like she is their own dog.

Dr Kyle and Dr Ananda have always been there for our family with our sick animals ! Whether it be cats dogs donkeys and now mini horses . They are always very professional and knowledgeable ! I highly recommend them both . They also are always there for me with my rescue foster kittens that I take care of for our local humane society shelter .

I had to bring Monkee Bear in because he was ill. The vet was courteous, friendly and very upfront with the diagnosis. The vet I had is my choice when I take my furbabies in. Always a great experience for both the pet parent and the fur baby. The only downside is reception. The receptionists always seem cold and indifferent.
