The owner of this place looks as if they love to cut corners. So you will have to do extra.First off, the dock is directly across from a firestation the cops like to hang out at. So you cant pull into their lot to back into the dock because you'll get a ticket. It's super tight because of the aforementioned owner cheapness. So pivot your trailer in front of the opening before the wood fence next to the dock alley and you should be good.SECONDLY the dock is a pull chain and however ironic it is, the dock door is automatic. Maybe an automatoc dock was to expensive and they were hoping the automatic door wouldnt make them look cheap but more likely it saved them money some how.So anyway.The button to the door is hidden between 2 electrical boxes to the right of the door.

The staff is amazing and I can find almost anything I need in one place. The prices are a bit higher than big box stores, but the convenience, deals/coupons, and customer service more than make up for it. It's also great to know that whenever I come in with my kids, they are greeted happily by our favorite staff members.

My second time at the Hairy Cow and it didn't disappoint! Just as good as the last time. That crust is the best. YUM! The staff is outstanding as well! Can't say enough good things about our visit. Got my second shirt too! IT WAS AWESOME! I'll be back next time I'm in town, for sure!

I get crab legs in a microwave bag, homemade deli bread, and sweets made in house. I love this place. I go there every time I'm in Byron.

Same feedback here as for Felker Foods. Great local store with all your basic needs. High prices. Not a lot of local products, which is disappointing and very minimal options for those on special food plans/dietary needs. Hate to have to go to Rockford or Dixon and give this money to big chain stores. Rather keep it in town and local. But if product isn't available or the price is unreasonable that leaves no other option.

Was in today and suggested they give rain checks and from the lady in produce to the cashier and Supervisor were extremely rude and indifferentThis is the 2nd time I've been treated badly beby their employees and will not be backThey have rude employers and they have a poor selection. Will drive way out of my way to shop another store and value their customers. Did not expect a price break, but deserved basic consideration and to be heardWill not return to that storeI will drive out of my way and shop a store that treats their customers better.

Went to county market yesterday. The store is clean and all items are priced as advertised. Fresh fruits and vegetables,with a helpful friendly staff. No price gouging going on here.This is not the same at Felkers, there store looks dirty especially the meat department. Meat prices are much higher than advertised.Whats up with that.

Very good for a small town store. They do move things around WAY to much in liquor department, they must rearrange things twice a week as it seems whatever I'm buying never in same place twice, haha. (Bad back) P.S. Thank you so very much for actual cashier's, I don't shop at "W-store" anymore.

Deli so messed up , This deli used to be good and attentive , Twice in a row we have called in a chicken order when we got there at the time they told us to be there and they had no chicken , telling us they had just sold out. What ? How does that even work , We called in the order ,They took our name and phone number , we gave them an hour , they told us what time to pick it up and then tried to substitute breast pieces with AN (1) extra wing. This Deli needs a new manager Badly . If I wanted cold chicken I would go thru KFC in Rockford .

Prices are always outrageous which is to be expected in a smaller town. The real issue is that the employees are rude and the managers and never helpful when there is an issue. I truly only come here when I absolutely have no other choice.

This is the local grocery store in Byron. It's prices are a lot higher than going to Rockford. If you are getting one or two things it is fine, otherwise make the trip as it I'll be worth it not to shop here. The workers are helpful and courteous if you need help finding something.

I would give more if I could because of the small town feel. The reason I can not is because of the pricing. I only shop here when im in a pinch for time or short on ingredients. The prices are not realistic or competitive to Rockford standards. The prices are understandable (short of) as it is 15-20 from another grocery store, but it still sucks to pay inflated prices.

2 customers in store without masks. Manager aware of it, ignored it and they were not social distancing either. One of them was coughing back by the deli. Only purchasing 2 small bakery items which did not require 2 shoppers. If you are going to post mask requirement sign, enforce it.

It's an average small town grocery store. Some items are grossly overpriced, for instance Tyson anytizers are $10, that's robbery and cheaper at a gas station!! Decent deli, liquor Dept, produce, and a cute little flower shop area. Frozen section is limited. Decent sales on meats.
