The staff are clueless. I asked if I could purchase a money order, I was rudely told that I needed to go to the kiosk. I followed the kiosk instructions and went to the cashier for receipt and payment. She prints a receipt without the money order.I let them know this does not look like a money order and does not say money order anywhere on the receipt.A male came over and said this transfer is the only service they have. I said well when I asked you for a money order, you should have told me you don’t have that here instead of rudely telling me to go to a self-service kiosk.Now I have to call the 800 number of WU to get my money back and go to a different location that actually provides the service they claim.Ridiculous! No apologies, nothing.

It must be intentional. I’ve been living in the area for almost 15 years and this is the worst pharmacy you could possible go to in the area. They are always understaffed and have too many prescriptions to fill. You’d think Walgreens would address this by now but apparently you make more money when you understaff your stores - to the customers and employees dissatisfaction. This is a chain drug store that provides horrible service in the name of corporate profit

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY! Ever. Avoid this place like the plague if you can. They mess up EVERY SINGLE SCRIPT. Terrible communication. I understand this is a high volume pharmacy, but it doesn’t matter, GET IT TOGETHER! It’s actually pretty easy embarrassing. The assistant manager there is clueless. Doesn’t know how to talk to to customers and is blatantly rude. I’m so fed up with this place and I’m sorry to live right next to it. I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but this place deserves it. Ridiculous.

This is the worst pharmacy I have experienced. They seem to be perpetually understaffed compared to the number of customers. I have tried going during “off times” and the employees are usually just as slow. If you need to call to talk to someone about an issue, you will be waiting minimum of 20 min before anyone answers the phone. After suffering at this Walgreens pharmacy for 4 years, I recently moved my prescriptions to CVS at Target and the difference is astounding.

Went there today August 21. Chelsea in the pharmacy helped me. She could not have been nicer and helpful !!!I made a mistake and forgot which Walgreens to go to for a Rx. Stumping me. I was on hold with one store for a good while but understood that they are slammed probably because of labor shortages. ParPree picked up the phone and could have not been nicer. She also looked in the system which store I should go to and even apologized for my mistake. ParPree is amazing and she deserves 10 stars. Thank you ParPree

Personally this has happened more than a few times that a five year old is waiting for antibiotics , having 101+ fevers, and taking fever reducers every four hours but this pharmacy can’t fill order for a standard drug “available” in with them for more than 30 hours because they are “backed up”. To do good in society, they (Walgreens) don’t need to carry corporate promotions but do their job well and it helps society.. what a disappointing pharmacy to go to. Taking my business away from Walgreens who doesn’t have basic empathy for their customers.1. Too slow to fill orders.. order fill took almost 24 hours last few times I remember2. pharmacist won’t be available on phone most of the time even if there are just one caller ahead.3. Be aware of phone message stating order is not ready. Many times it’s just they send some query to insurance which never got resolved.

Made an appointment online for flu vaccine. Get here and they tell me that they ignore the online reservation system. So reservation time is not used as well as the online forms and approvals. Had redo all the forms in person and then waited and waited some more. Don’t bother doing the online reservation and go somewhere else that cares.

I swore I would never come to this Walgreens again but they put a prescription through for my son as it was in the system. This is the MOST HORRIBLE store I have ever been to. I literally just witnessed the manager yelling a customer to go to another Walgreens to fill an urgent prescription because they are too busy here. They don’t know what they are doing… they are always EXTREMELY RUDE, and they are ALWAYS DAYS BEHIND. And of course the Walgreens app has disabled the ability to leave a review. Will deter anyone and everyone I know from ever going here or another Walgreens.

They need to take a sensitivity course, every worker in the pharmacy aside from two people are rude and and lazy. Their pharmacist or rather lack of pharmacist makes it impossible to get your script filled in a timely manner. When did it change to the customer is wrong instead of always right? They'll refuse to tell you if they have your medicine in stock even though their are drug shortages all over America and apparently they expect he customer to drive to each individual store to inquire about their medications. Narcotics and other controlled medicines cannot be transferred even to another store it's a law it's also a law that a valid identification is required to pick up these types of medicines, of course this policy isn't followed, ever. They'd much rather be petty and deny you on the phone to check their stock. They apparently don't realize their going to mess with the wrong person one day and they will be very very sorry when that person comes in to TAKE their medicine from them. Play with someone who takes Xanax. Oxycontin. Morphine. Adderall. Play with someone who has 7 felonies, is on public aid insurance, can't pay their bills, found out their partner at home is pregnant, and they have nothing at all to lose because their sanity has run dry and their patience is worn out. Now tell this person you can't check stock on the phone. Tell them it's gonna take over 24hours to fill their script, when they have just left the hospital at 7am or their doctor is with stronger hospitals network and that THE CUSTOMER has to call their doctor or the CUSTOMER has to fix their issue be it insurance or at the very least their lack of people to fill the script. I'll be waiting and watching the local news.

Walgreens charges $16.99 for two passport photos, and then refuses to cut them unless they are 2"X2". My photos were a different size, and so they asked me to cut them myself. They have the cutter to do it, so why is the customer being asked to cut their own photos?

This place is clean and organized. The big problem is the delivery of manipulated medicines. They take days. The employee said that they are out of employees, and that is why the delay. Don't expect efficiency from this place. I'm going to start using CVS as an option to Walsgreen. Very sad for those who need medicine.

I called to speak to a pharmacy manager about a script.. They put me on hold and went on a break..they just left me on hold .. as the recording told me they went on break.... The person that put me on hold is super ignorant. I have to call back. I am going to start using my mail order pharmacy instead of any walgreens store. No more will I use any Walgreens store. You kinda wonder if they hate their job or hate people.

Very bad experience. They are taking forever to cater to the waiting customers. Avg wait time is 1 hr it looked like today evening, I spite of having an appointment for covid vaccine. They need to do much better.

This is the worst pharmacy ever can be imagined. They are rude, inept, I don't even speak English. The drive-through is ridiculous, they told us a prescription for pain could possibly take 5 days! That is unheard of, what if somebody needs an antibiotic or pain medication, how do they get it.

They really should just close this location. They clearly can't bother to staff or train their employees or run a pharmacy in an efficient manner. Plan to wait a week for your medication, no matter how urgently it is needed, and for the store manager to care less about it. Seriously, take your business and medical needs elsewhere.

The people waiting to get vaccine and flu shoot waiting for more than 45 minutes. The registrations we're fast but no one get called to get vaccine or flu shoot. Total of waiting were 6 people, total of inline were 5 people. I wonder where is the doctor.Also it said appointment only for vaccine and flu shot but on the sign said "walk-ins are welcome" so ... Many people get refused with reason appointment only for this location.Appreciate the staff hard work but need a bit organized during busy hour for people who are waiting on vaccine/flu shoot.

This place used to be super efficient, but for the past month or so, it’s been an absolute train wreck. Only 1 lane open if any ALWAYS with someone who is clearly JUST STARTED WORKING, and has ZERO EXPERIENCE, no one standing by to train them or oversee. The guy running it tonight was literally arguing with every single car that showed up. Instead of being like we put it back we can have it filled by ___date, he just started getting weird and when we asked how to fill it he just repeated the whole thing again. You didn’t pick it up and we put it back. Like he needs a neurological eval bc I think he has short term memory loss. And maybe psych for the undiagnosed cluster b personality disorder

Pharmacy was very ill prepared. I’ve filled and picked up with Wgreens numerous times. This time this place appeared not knowledgeable and when you’re dealing with insurance/prescriptions. It’s important to have resolve or direction for this process. Very surprised with the service of staff. Maybe it was an off day. Again, sensitive areas of people and health. It’s important to understand the process for billing/insurance. I’m happy the medicine wasn’t too expensive for out of pocket (thanks goodness). If it were far more important of a prescription It’d have been worse.

On the first Tuesday of every months, I would always take my grandma to Walgreens for senior discount day. The staffs were very nice and they help me find the products, what I need. Then one day, I saw this new staff member standing behind the cash register. A short woman with a purple hair dye and wearing glasses by the name of Erica. Once I got everything, I needed. I was ready to check out. So, I greeted her and she gave me this dirty look.She started complaining about how hard her life is, how much she hate her mom and the people, she work with. I politely told her, I’m sorry to hear it but, that isn’t my problem. All of a sudden, she told me… I should put my grandma to rest, in front of my grandma! I was so furious at her but, I kept my anger to myself. Like what’s her problem? I asked for a manager and explain, how extremely disrespectful and rude she was to the elderly. She should be ashamed of herself. I seriously hope, she get fired and no one, should hire her.

I went to this specific Walgreens location thinking that the service would be much better than the one on 1701 N Buffalo Grove Rd. I was wrong! This Walgreens is same as bad as that other one. I made an appointment online for immunization for 3pm, but walked out an hour later only to be disappointed by unknowledgeable pharmacy technician. She had no clue how to verify my medical insurance coverage for immunization that I had to call my health insurance and put it on speaker phone to guide her. In the end she said my medical insurance only covered flu shot after calling the pharmacy help desk number given by my health insurance rep. I wasted more than an hour of my time there. Walked out of this Walgreens in disbelief that my health insurance only covered flu shot, I drove to Walmart pharmacy off Lake Cook Rd. I walked in to ask for MMR, Hep A&B, and Varicella. They quickly verified my health insurance coverage without any problem! Don’t go to this Walgreens anymore, the line was long and nobody cares about customer service. They are super rude! It is ironic that Walgreens that specializes on selling drugs doing so poorly, but Walmart that focuses more on selling eggs & milk is actually doing a better job.

A big note of thanks and appreciation for the Pharmacy Staff - unfortunately didn't remember to note her name down. I randomly walked in here as the 1199 W Dundee Pharmacy where I placed the order didn't have the stock and after 20 mins of hold on call with them - I hung up. The lady at the pharmacy counter found that they didn't have it in stock either and she took the trouble of finding which nearby Walgreens had it and then transferred the pick up there with a note to have it ready ASAP. When I reached the other location in ~10 mins drive, it was already ready for pick-up! Deeply appreciate her in doing this and its people like her who even with the smallest of gestures like this one truly make this world a better place!

The pharmacy staff here are the most rude and ignorant I've ever dealt with. I guess the days of actual customer service are over. After giving my elderly father a hard time for no reason, they never even bothered to follow through with his doctor. The doctor says call the pharmacy and the pharmacy acts like they are bothered that they're being asked to do their job! The technician I spoke with over the phone would not even allow me to speak and then hung up the phone when she decided she was done talking! Walgreens does not even pretend to care about people anymore.

After my experience with the manager there named Jose or Juan, I don’t remember his name, but it started with a J, I will not be patronizing this store any more.My very elderly neighbor of 85-years old, was going to be spending Christmas alone because his wife is in a nursing home. At his request, I took him to visit his wife and then he asked we stop at Walgreens to pick up some vodka.This neighbor has very limited English. He can communicate very minimally but understands very little English. When he did not understand the cashiers request for an ID, either because he did not understand the request, or because he does not carry an ID due to not being able to drive, I told him I would use MY credit card and MY ID to make the purchase. The manager said absolutely not. I said this is very silly, this elderly gentleman is quite obviously over 21-years of age! The manager continued to be curt and rude.My neighbor was disappointed but we left, and I told him I would try to go in again and make the purchase alone. I went in, I selected the vodka and even some alcohol to give family as a gift for having me for dinner, and when it came time for my to check out the manager whispered to the cashier not to allow the transaction.At that point I spoke up. 1. It was ME using MY ID and MY credit card. 2. I was alone and making the purchase 3. Even if I was trying to help out my very obvious elderly neighbor, my neighbor was quite obviously old enough to decide how he wanted to celebrate Christmas. 4. I am a religious and regular customer there, but after the managers treatment of me and my neighbor I would not be returning to that locationThe manager responded very rudely that he didn’t care if he lost my business. I was trying to sell alcohol to someone without an ID. I said again I am the one buying the alcohol and it is my ID and that gentleman is 85-years old! He is very obvious of age!I said okay so you aren’t going to allow me to make my purchase fine but I’m going to corporate. He said he was fine with me going to corporate because they would applaud him for a job well done.At that point I looked him dead in the eye, and said you obviously haven’t heard this enough today so merry Christmas to you!I will not be shopping at the location anymore.I can see if I had a teenager with me, then make a big deal out of it. But this was an 85-year-old gentleman!If this manager thinks that being curt and rude to customers is just doing his job, then he needs to go through customer service training. When I came in alone the second time, he should have just left things alone and not tried preventing me from making my purchase!

I had my 1st Covid vaccine shot this morning. Smooth and fast and most importantly, the ladies in Pharmacy and Clinic were very accommodating and kind! I have spent the last year on the front lines, keeping restaurants open. While we weren’t saving lives, we were out there...and I know that at times dealing with the public can get overwhelming. I very much appreciate the kindness and felt welcomed...Please send my thanks and acknowledgement of a job well done!

Not enough staff at the pharmacy counter. Almost impossible to get prescriptions. Changing store after my last visit today. Still don’t have my prescriptions. Never got to the front of the line and left again.

My family has been using this pharmacy for over 15 years. This year the service here has become terrible. Always for the vital medicine have to stand. Terrible phone service and attitude of workers. There are always many customers waiting for the order for a long time. Never on time do not fulfill orders for medicines directed by doctors. Always have a long time to wait for their execution.I recommend all customers to go to other pharmacies and the company's management immediately remove many bad workers.

This store is our goto store For most things that a family of four needs at all hours of the day and night. This store has been a great resource for many different reasons over the years. the clinic, the pharmacy, and the store itself have always been a convenient location that has always been a welcome site.
