Lowes is a scam. The situation I am about to describe occurred at (2) Michigan stores and (1) Illiinois store. As if it were all scripted, it certainly wasn't a coincidence. Quick result, 20 square foot quote for countertop was $6,200.....SMH PLEASE KEEP READINGWe found a countertop we liked for our kitchen. So we went to get a quote as the posted price was in our budget. They lie about their price. They posted $95 a square foot in Illiinois stores and $99 a square foot in Michigan stores.Once they get you in the system and you've invested an hour or more of your time, they claim there is a mistake in the system and then reveal the actual cost is $149 a square foot but then they bang on the keyboard and claim they can probably get it down to $129 if we can get it paid today. Then, they'll suggest signing up for a credit card to get an additional 5%. We stood up and walked out.After experiencing this the first time at the Warren Store in Michigan, we went the next day to see if the Clinton Twp. store to see if they had the $149 price posted. Nope ! They had $99, so we asked for a quote. EXACT SAME THEATER COMMENSED. We were laughing and walked after 10 min. It was a joke worth playing along with strictly for entertainment purposes.Then, the next day, my wife and I drove to visit family in Kankakee, IL. We got there earlier than expected and saw a Lowes. So we went in....posted price $95....knowing their routine already we simply asked the employed scam artist if they could just confirm the price in her system. She came in at $144 but said she could probably get us in at $121 a square foot. We politely declined and left. But point proven LOWES IS TRASH ! ! !BTW our kitchen is small, the countertop size is 55'' by 48'' that's 20' square feet, yet the quote came out to $6,204.00 UNBELIEVABLE ! ! !

We visit Lowes for many of our construction projects always helpful and give me veterans discount. However this day I was looking for a specific battery. Did not find in the display, asked their clerk and told isle 8 would solve my problem. Not a battery in sight in isle 8, so don't go there.

I don't know if it's the change of venue or what, but in my hometown Lowe's is my third choice behind two other home improvement chains in everything except appliances. Lowe's rocks appliances.But this store is different; you can tell as soon as you walk in. Bright, friendly and seemed to have a positive spark. We only went in to pick up an order, but were made to feel welcome. The employee who wrote and attached a note to our order was a thoughtful surprise.

My recent experience at store #0118 in Bradley, IL was incredibly disappointing due to the unprofessional conduct of a sales cashier named Susan. Upon entering the store, Susan greeted me with a condescending tone and attitude, setting the tone for the rest of my visit.Initially, I attempted to process a return at the pro desk, only to be met with a dismissive response from Susan, who claimed the desk was closed despite my status as a pro member. Forced to navigate the store to complete my return elsewhere, I encountered a more accommodating staff member.Later, when I discovered a pricing discrepancy on deck screws, Susan's lack of assistance was glaring. Despite providing evidence of a recent in-store purchase at a lower price, she insisted I had bought the item online, refusing to acknowledge her error and resorting to falsehoods when confronted by her manager.Susan's behavior was unacceptable and marred what should have been a straightforward shopping experience. It was only after escalating the issue to the manager, Suzanne, that a resolution was offered. While Suzanne apologized and provided a one-time accommodation, it was evident that Susan's conduct was indicative of larger issues within the store.In conclusion, my visit to store #0118 was soured by Susan's disrespectful demeanor and unprofessionalism. I urge the management to address such behavior promptly to ensure a more positive experience for future customers.

I had to wait for service. Had to go twice to customer service for assistance. I wasn't able to qualify for the Lowes credit card neither was my daughter with a 791 credit score. But did love the military discount I was able to have thanks to her service. I bought ramps to get my tractor inside my truck & avoid shipping cost.

I BOUGHT A CORD TO GO WITHMy Christmas VILLAGE, It WAS NOT COMPATIBLE .WHEN I went TO BRING IT BACK ,which I had the receipt. I couldn't even get store credit or a refund. They said it was over 30 days. Menards is such a better store when it comes to returns. Even though I bought a refrigerator there a month ago. That will be my last purchase. Return policy is horrific 😢. I would stay away. Guy, in front of me, was also not able to return his products either. If I could, I would give it a zero. Lowes is awful 😖 for returns. Stay away .their return policy needs to be restructured.

After spending 45 minutes in Lowe's for a guy to bring up my tool chest I paid $317.47 a kid finally brings the tool chest to the register. When loading it he told be the bottom of the box was open. I asked if the tool chest was damaged. He assured me he checked it out and it was fine. Loaded it up and away I went. Upon removing the tool chest from its box at work, I found in fact it was damaged in 3 places on the sides of the lid.I called Lowe's and they said to bring it back for an exchange.Loaded it back up and brought it back to the store.One lady said they had 4 more and would have someone bring another one up. 45 minutes later, they brought another.S l o w

I'm not a fan of the new self-checkout lines, but at least they still give the veterans a discount. That's better than most places.There weren't very many people shopping today, so we got a friendly human at check out. And they still give a veteran's discount. After the way Menard's bumbled the Covid debacle, I will always choose Lowe's. Always.

Whether you're shopping for a refrigerator freezer, toilet seats or some other house appliance, Lowe's seems to have everything. I especially appreciate their 10% discount for military veterans.

I came to this facility for the first time since I just moved to town. On July 1st 2023 I needed to get a box for a overly large sized item that I was shipping back to Amazon. Although Lowes did not have the size box that I needed the representative that worked with me was extremely kind. The sales representative Candace provided a box to me that had a dryer appliance in it so that I could send the item back to Amazon. Again this was a huge item and since the box was damaged when it was initially delivered to me I knew finding a big enough box would be extremely hard. I purchased a fan then headed back over to ups store to ship back the oversized item back to Amazon. Thank you again for your exceedingly extraordinary customer service.

Went there for brown spectra down spout extensions said 45 in stock had zero. Looked for a t30 socket which was "in stock" also none found a 6mm Allen socket in it's place. Inventory is off and everyone said oh well, we'll adjust it.

Dude, I just received a freakin concierge tier customer service from one of their employees Brandon. I have only come across a handful of retail people in my entire life who are as soft spoken, smiling, and as helpful as Mr. Brandon. I was in search of that personal AC called the Maxx Chill, which the store had catalogued incorrectly in their system, and so, it was a near impossible task to find the unit. However, Mr. Brandon took the time to walk to the farthest end of the store to find where the unit was sitting, and find it he did! We were able to walk out with 2 of those little AC units. I feel obligated to recognize the level of service I received, even though it means me writing this review in the middle of the night when I have work early in the morning!

Went in for a garage door motor, stopped at a desk with 3 or 4 employees. I was told that they aren't carried in store, got on lowes website, found the aisle, and bay grabbed the one I wanted. Went back to the desk to inform the employees. Only one was there, but he claimed that that's what they told us. I'll shop at menards or drive to Frankfort to go to Home Depot over going here.

I just left the Lowe's in Kankakee and I'm pretty disappointed. I ordered a bird bath online. Waited close to the 3-hour wait time. Just to be told that it wasn't picked yet. I asked if I could just get it and her can delete the order. She insisted on canceling the order so I had to walk through the line again. I also asked where the bird bath was located and was given a vague "in the back aisle" answer. Needless to say I couldn't find the bird bath, was in there for the 3 hours that they could have picked it, and I feel all she had to do was call somebody for help to complete this order. I guess we'll get my wife a Mother's Day gift next year. Thanks Lowe's!

This place is a joke. Went there last week to get 3 for $10 bags of mulch. The bags on the pallet were damaged. They had plastic bags you can put them in. We checked out and the lady in the garden center said they give 50% to damaged bags. Next day we went back to get mulch and some other things. Went to the self check out. The only employee RYAN, was sitting in the spot the plastic bags go w his back turned towards customers. He was talking to some girl. We asked about the discount, he rolled his eyes and said to the girl to go get her sister, the front end “manager” she comes over with an instant attitude. Says there is no policy like that. She walks off and Ryan decided to be rude. So I said excuse me, he then proceeded to cuss out my daughter and I. I asked for the store manager and Ryan said he’s in the big you go F’ing get him. I went to the cs desk and asked for the store manager. RYAN comes up there screaming and cussing at us and two employees had to drag him out of my face. The “manager” named Bailey came up and said he would check the cameras and talk to RYAN. I called corporate the next day and was told they were dealing with it. After the way my daughter and I were treated which you could clearly see who was in the wrong, you would think lowes would’ve offers a discount or gift card because of the treatment we received. That employee wasn’t fired for his behavior.Horrible management and employees. The best employees are on the garden center. But if lowes wants to keep paying RYAN to sit and say inappropriate things to young girls that’s on them. We will never shop at Lowe’s again.

There was no cashiers at a register, instead a lovely lady was showing people how to self checkout. I do not work for Lowe's . I was a cashier for 30 years and made good money. I am not about to work for Lowe's for free. Since your company is greedy enough to get rid of your employees and refuse to give customer service I will no longer be shopping there.

This place is a joke! I bought and paid for a brand new GE washer and dryer on Friday 12/16. A broken dryer was delivered to me on Sunday 12/18. Another broken dryer was delivered to me on Tuesday 12/20. I spoke with someone in their warehouse on 12/20 and was assured that a working dryer would be delivered today 12/22. When I called about my delivery time I was told that there was no record of any order being placed for delivery today. I was put on hold for over 30 minutes by multiple people. I was told I am not able to speak with a manager because they are not available. They have wasted my time and my money, and I still do not have a working dryer. I may or may not get a call back from someone at some point. Buy your appliances somewhere else. This company that is worth 130 BILLION dollars does not care about customers. They only care about money. They should be trying to rectify this situation and compensate me for the time and money they have wasted, but no, they have not done anything to help. What a joke. Do better Lowes. Give me my money back. I will never purchase another item from your store.

Great customer service on 6/17/22 from James in flooring, Miguel in plumbing, and Gary in lighting, as well as the trainee in customer service whose name I unfortunately did not write down. Each associate treated me with respect and demonstrated a clear desire to help me find the best products for my project. I spent a great amount of time in the store and every single employee I interacted with was truthful, patient and enthusiastic. Could not have asked for a better shopping experience.
