Paula is a life saver!!!I had been searching for a groomer to work on my VERY anxious rescue for a while! He is a sweet dog but is terrified of hair brushes, water, and even runs when he sees my other border collie just being brushed! Because of this fear he has had multiple mats develop and he just looked uncomfortable :(I came across Paula’s information and loved that her website showed pictures, so I could see what the experience would look like, as my boy is terrified of other dogs and could NOT handle being in an environment like Petsmart (nothing against Petsmart, they just have all the dogs lined up and visible and mine wouldn’t be able to handle it). Again, he’s not aggressive but if he sees another dog he starts scream crying and goes fetal and it’s too hard on him.I instantly called Paula to gather more information and she was wonderful to talk to. She answered promptly, was professional, EXTREMELY patient with my many questions (being an overprotective fur mama), and was able to get him in 2 days later! Not to mention she offers a military discount which I have never seen before, BUT very much appreciate as we are a first responder and military family.While I was I was unable to attend his appointment my partner went with and he told me the experience he had was wonderful and that everything was going great.I could hardly believe it was the same dog when he came home! He looks AMAZING and I will definitely be bringing him, and my other collie back to her!! (I added some before and after pics)

Wish I could give them more stars! So beyond happy with how my Australian Shepard turned out (had to get rid of his coat for the summer). Not only that but I have a hard time taking him to the groomers because he gets so anxious and doesn’t want to stay. Before I was finished filling out the initial paperwork, he was already relaxing while getting a bath and just as calm and happy when I picked him up. I am new to the area and not only very pleased with the service but the price! We will be back.

Paula was ready for Lucy at the appointment time. She was finished at the time she estimated and Lucy wasn’t stressed at all. We just moved here from NC and Lucy had been going to the same groomer for almost 4 years. Thank you Paula for doing such a great job!

Balbino and I had a wonderful first visit at Paula’s grooming. My Bean is 4 and a half months old so he was a little excited and a little scared. The owners made sure that he was comfortable before they cut his nails and made the environment for my fluffy baby a safe one! Thank you so much, and I’ll be happily bringing him again next time! I rated Paula 4 stars based upon the grooming of my dog, I wish I could rate her 5 stars on the way she behaved today. I am a first and last time customer. I dropped my dog off today to get groomed, Paula was very nice and friendly in explaining their services I told her that I wanted to cut her short this time ( hair was about 5-6 inches long plus she was matted in a few places), I placed my dog on the table Paul's starting cutting her hair and asked me if this how short I wanted, we both agreed a little shorter would be better , she then told me about a condition for $5 EXTRA that would help with future matting, ok give her that, she says so instead of the price been $45 it's going to be $50 ok fine no problem, and was told to pick her up in 2hrs but we will call you 15 mins prior to her been finish, PAULA calls to come pick her up and when I got there, scary Paula was not in there her hubby was and when I gave him the $50 he says no it's $65, I said no I was told $50, go get your wife , she comes out and says I told you if it took over 2hrs it would be more, i said to who, not me and then she got loud very argumentative and saying she spent how much time she spent on my dog, she dont care, whatever, just leave. Now just let me say this, it wasn't about the amount she was charging for a service that rendered and differently should be paid for it, this was all about me telling her that the right thing for her to have done when she called me to pick up my dog was to let me know that I had to do more work therefore I have to charge you extra, point blank, you dont wait tell I get there to tell me that on the slick side you are charging me an extra $15 for extra time spent on her, that's no business, so now I have to charge $15 to my bank card because I only brought what she said I owed her, and the argument was never about the money, I paid her and she was still arguing with me, b4 I went to Paula's there was quite a bit of negative reviews from other customers, but I feel everyone deserves a chance and I can get my own opinion, boy did I ever, she's unprofessional, rude, a liar, argumentative, burnt out and can differently use a refreshment course in customer service. I dont care how long long a person has been in business it doesn't give you the right to be rude and disrespectful.

We were very happy with the way they treated our 2 dogs and us. Very easy to talk to. I called to make an appointment for 2 dogs to have nails clipped and Paula took us in an hour and a half later. She brushed our dogs and talked to them while her husband clipped nails. They went above and beyond. Their prices are GREAT!!

Paula did such a great job on my dog. They were super friendly, you could just feel that they were going to take care of your precious treasure.She finished everything in a short time and the price was very affordable. I recommend this grooming service to other animal owners. It’s just so much more personable. Other pet grooming services don’t even come close!

Paula and her husband are wonderful. They are always able to get my dogs in right away, and do an excellent job with my 2 German shepherds. They are not easy to manage, which is why we take them to be groomed rather than doing it at home. It takes 2 of them to groom my dogs, they always make time, are smiling and friendly, and prices are very reasonable. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. Thanks, Paula and Clint. You guys rock!

We took our large dog there a couple months ago, he’s not been to the groomer very much. We usually tend to take care of him ourselves. I will be booking another appointment soon, it’s so nice to know that I can help a small business and not have to worry about any of the work myself! The were very caring and calm with my boy. Most importantly the work was outstanding and my dog looked so good. 🙃🙃

I’m pleased to share my positive experience with Paula’s Pet Grooming. I put in a nail/hair trim request in the middle of a holiday weekend and they were responsive right away. They provided great service and my Dog was at ease the whole time. Prices are reasonable and will definitely go back again!!

Paula was able to fit us in as a new customer quickly. She listened to us on our pets needs and followed through with great cuts and within the time frame quoted. I haven't experienced that with other groomers in this area in the past. Bottom line, if you want someone to care about your pets grooming as much as you do, please give Paula's a try. You won't be disappointed.

Paula is a great lady and her staff are wonderful but I didn't like the way she groomed my cat, Whiskers. Loved how my cat stayed for the whole 9 yard treatment that Paula gave her which I'm surprised at for a cat!! But I think her expertise is more of dogs than cats. Whiskers fur was choppy after said and done so when her fur grows out again I'll just de-shed her myself and leave the rest alone. Thank you though Paula for trying your best!

We took our 4 mo. old Australian Labradoodle to Paula, the owner, for her first grooming. We were nervous to see how our little girl would look. Paula took her time to listen to our desires and we knew our puppy was in good hands as we saw how Paula and her husband interacted with our puppy and other dogs. Our expectations were exceeded. Great prices. I bought a 9 week old puppy who I was very nervous about getting groomed. They were understanding and helped me through the process. They were great with my puppy who hates baths and being groomed. She knew what to do. She asked me what I wanted for the puppy and not what she thought. I didn't want to have my dog be in a cage throughout the day waiting to be groomed. I brought him in and he was fine right away, and I got to stay with him.

Paula and Clint are very nice and friendly. They accommodated our needs giving sweet Daisy a bath and trimming her nails. Clint was patient and gentle with Daisy. It was her first time to go to a groomer. Their place of grooming was clean and set up nicely for bein accommodated. I can early and they were gracious to take us and work in between each service. Paula and Clint worked as a team and was wonderful to see them working together.Thank you for the great service on a hyper little puppy, who was stressing me out with her barking!!! ;)

I wanted to take a moment as a fellow small business owner to say how happy I am with Paula and her husbands high level of service. I am a first time customer and she really took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. Promptly as I dropped off my Chow her husband got right to work giving him a bath while I was still there. There were great with our very stubborn dog and made him feel comfortable. When I went to pick him up just a few hours later she even asked if I was completely happy and if there were areas that I wanted trimmed more. Although I was extremely pleased I did have her trim one area just I tiny bit more. She jumped right on it without ant hesitation and boom...perfection.If you are looking for that small business owner family who will give you the HIGH level of service thats so hard to find these days Paul is your person. This was the best value, shortest time, and most understand Groomer we have dealt with. Five Stars aren't enough...

We were back in Illinois for a visit and needed my aging 133 lb shepherd clipped because of skin allergies. This is an on-going ordeal for him and gets pricey. I was SO excited to fine Paula's Pet Grooming. The rate was VERY reasonable and I was shocked at how fast they were done. Speed is important to me as he has hip issues as well and can't stand for long periods of time. They were so friendly and helpful as well. I only wish we were not 800 miles away or I would use them all the time!

Ralph did so well here I am confident in their capabilities and professionalism. After all the service is for Ralph our dog. And he judges them to be excellent providers of his care. We no longer see shredded fur in our home between groomer visits. Paula and Clint are persons of high character and have excellent rapport with Ralph our German Shepherd. He gives them two paws up way up.

I'm writing the review that my wife is too nice to write, and since I'm the one who found Paula's Pet Grooming on a Google search and told my wife about her good reviews. Per my wife, Paula is very friendly and her grooming fees are fair. Unfortunately, when Paula groomed our dog, she left long patches of fur around one ear and eye. The snout fur is also unbalanced. Rather than confront the poor grooming issue, which I'm sure Paula would have corrected, my wife has chosen to take her dog elsewhere for future grooming.

I love coming here! Paulas is always so sweet and great at getting an appointment! Sometimes I can get my dog in the same day or within a few days.Dogs are always treated good and does a great job with little and big dogs!
