Ya know.. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews cause I try to understand. I can barely fit my truck through the Kankakee drive through cause I can’t swing it wide enough, so I made the 20 minute drive to Bourbonnais.If I’m having to pay 6$ for ONE MEDIUM BLIZZARD… I ask that it’s at least mixed, and the very least the medium cup be full!!!!!! 6$ and only 3/4 of the cup is full, unmixed and frankly melted. Which I can understand the melted part. Granted I drove home without eating it cause I had my 3 dogs with me and I was driving it was running when employee handed it to me.. I can also understand it being later at night and you’re tired but it’s not asking a lot. With everything else rising in price, we deserve at least a full cup of ice cream.. I know it’s a minor flaw compared to what else is going on in the world… but I look forward to cotton candy blizzard season! I just want to get my 6$ worth and my diesel worth wasting. Thank you.

Always the best PB shake,and great service! I'm pretty sure everything they make is delicious,but my personal favorite is there Cherry Misty Freeze. This is the only Dairy Queen that makes it (PERFECT)!!

I’ve had bad experiences in the past with this place not just with employees but with the regional manager. I decided to give it one last shot in hopes that maybe I could find that joy I once had for this place but I, unfortunately, was not able to get this joy back. I placed my order in the drive-thru and asked for a Brownie Oreo Cupfection with cocoa fudge and peanut butter instead of the usual marshmallow and chocolate syrup as well as added cookie dough pieces. They charged me for the cookie dough but didn’t actually give me any. They even repeated the order back to me to make sure it was correct and still didn’t make it right. I’m truly disappointed and will not be spending my money here ever again.

When I arrived there was one family in line. The other line was empty but no employees at the window. Emoloyees began bringing order to the family in front of me (very slowly). In the meantime, three other groups line up at the other window. Still no employees at the other window. Finally, the order for the family in front of me was complete. A fourth group arrives at the other window, and still no employees are taking orders. Then, the one employee handling walk-up orders opens the window and tells me the window is only for order pickup and go to the other window. I walk now fifth in line instead of next. Keep in mind that when I arrived, no one was at the other window.I got in my car and left after a few minutes, realizing it would take a 1/2 hour now to get an order.

No sense of urgency. No sense of customer service when it comes to being cheerful. Whoever the manager is here at this location needs to do a much better job leading the team to understanding the importance of positive attitude and just simply having a smile on your face whenever working customer service. Things are greatly disorganized here which gives a ridiculous amount of time for you to get your order. They do work and somehow in the chaos it's things done but it'd be far more efficient and profitable if it was organized.

I don’t know that I’ve ever left a bad review and honestly I just had to with this DQ location. 4 times in a row now we’ve ordered 2 blizzards with extra toppings in both and every time we hardly have any toppings and after the first inch of blizzard on the top the rest is vanilla ice cream with hardly anything mixed into it. When I wait 15 minutes for 2 blizzards and pay for extra toppings it should be mixed well. And that’s if you actually get the extra ingredients you ask for and pay for. Won’t be going back to that location.

Dishonest business. Please make sure you look at your receipts. They over charged my order for things I did not request.We asked for the blizzard of the month with caramel sauce on top. Our request was too complicated for the young girl taking the order. We asked a few more times trying to clarify what we wanted. Finally she just agreed to whatever we were saying and said I’ll have your total at the window. At the window it was an adult. Very snooty. Very backhanded with her “professionalism”. I look at my receipt because the total sounds a little high. 2 small blizzards, caramel sauce and whipped cream. Then another charge for an “extra charge” item.And please don’t mistake this review for being about the small $.80 they unethically charged me. It’s the principle. You can’t just take peoples money because you feel like it or because you think your teaching me a lesson. It makes me question how many other loyal customers your staff has ripped off.We drove back around the order window and there were three girls that refused to acknowledge us and called for the same adult and walked away. She looked at the receipt and gave us our money back in cash. Which was fine. But the whole incident was unnecessary and unfortunate. I grew up in this area and honestly I’m not impressed.

They let me change my order at the window from ice cream sandwich to fully bar. Due to my roommate getting sick and flushing teeth in toilet in accident. Realized he would not be able to chew his favorite treat. They were very sweet about the whole thing. That's good service!

Most of us are familiar with Dairy Queen. One of my favorite treats (no more than once a month!) is the Cookie Jar Blizzard. I believe it's a combination of Oreo Cookie Blizzard and Cookie Dough Blizzard. Medium Cookie Jar Blizzard: My favorite!

It's a great place to hangout on a warm summer night, however there's some stuff that bothers me.the ice cream: dairy queen's ice cream has been tasting worse to me over the years. There's just something creepy in it that makes me cough, and something about the taste seems off.Efficiency: there's always a big crowd outside and that's because of the way you order. Currently they have two windows, each with a register. You order, they make it, you get it and pay-all at one window. It seems that it could be so much more efficient if on window took all the orders and payments, and the other was a dedicated pick up window. Maybe they have a reason for this current system, but I don't get it.Overall: great atmosphere, cheaper than oberweis (significant sacrifice though), plenty of seating, and a very friendly staff.

Drive through is a bit hard to get into, but treats are delicious! Across the street from Olivet Nazarene, it probably was more busy than I ever saw it, but the drive-through service was great! Not too long waiting. Location serves only ice cream and other cold treats, nothing hot or meals

Ice cream is pretty good. Little pricey. Main issue is they are incredibly slow. Even when they arn’t busy, your gonna wait awhile. The drive thru is a complete time eater. 20-30 min like every time.

Management is either too relaxed or just has an overall staff with terrible prioritization capabilities. They got people closing lines with people who have been waiting for a long time while pulling up people who just got there to the next window. After standing there waiting for 10 minutes just to move to another window as it opened up by the shift lead, the shift lead decided to help 1 person and then turn around and start helping with production, thus making me stand another 8 minutes in a new line, while my old line was still ringing people through. You can only be so kind and patient for so long before you have to realize the incompetency is real and they're not just having a busy rush or a one off day.

I went though drive thru and only ordered one small blizzard. The entire visit took about 20 minutes. The blizzard was made incorrectly and had barely anything in it. You could make it to the DQ on the west side of Kankakee and back in the time it took here and at least they actually put a decent amount if toppings in their blizzards.

I go here wirh my kids for the soft chocolate ice cream. The girls need to be trained how to put the ice cream on the cone. It should not be a small blob of ice cream on the cone. Looking like a mushroom! It should be swirled up! Please train these kids how to make cones!!!!

It's a Dairy Queen, just like every other Dairy Queen in EVERY other small town across the United States. Maybe you like it, maybe you don't, but it's always the same. This experience/visit did not disappoint. The atmosphere and products were exactly as anticipated.

I enjoyed getting one of their seasonal blizzards! Staff was wonderful even when I went about 5 minutes before closing and had to buy a bunch of gift cards.
