I like shopping this Big Lots and today was no exception! The spring/summer seasonal collections were out and it looked amazing! If you're reading this and it's close to the date I visited "GO NOW" for the best selection. The store is always organized and the prices are terrific. The employees always seem polite, conversational and are quick to ring me up. Retail can be a challenging business and the team there does a good job.

Clean, organized store. Lots of shopping categories in this place!! Nice, friendly staff... Lots of room in there. And you can find random things there that are awesome! Check out this mega bottle of Downy Unstoppables for $9.80!!

Big lots used to have better prices and sales. Shelves where real low and some where empty. They used to be better stocked. I have not been there in a while. Very disappointed. Went back to see they have changed. Prices are still high. Shelves where all stocked and filled, all new merchandise. They did have alot more of a selection stuff.

Bought furniture from here and wedding gifts. Furniture seems to hold up pretty well against larger dog, cat, and multiple kids, home goods selection is nice.

It's basically Wal-Mart lite. Which is a good thing when you don't want to have to walk a mile to get from one side of the store to the other

Store with just about everything you would need or would love to have. Patio furniture, living room furniture , snacks or clothes. Staff was friendly (Tim) and even the retail vendor (Donnell) made shopping comfortable. Priced extremely nice.

It was good put Christmas stuff too expensive there was a really nice one that called Joy but they were charging $90 for it I rather pay $65 for instead of 90. Other than that there were other stuff pretty pricey like that One plug-in where you can actually make a total light show or charging $24 for that little four plug-in for you could put up to 800 or 8,000 lights on it.

So. I love B.L... Normally. I had an issue w an item that wasnt supposed to be on the sales floor, missing pieces, and I was told it was all there and I leased it along several other things. Well, it was missing all the hardware(canvas netted pop up) to it. Long story short(its long......) It was a HUGE hassle to return it, get anotther model that was not as nice and more expensive bc they were all out of what I wanted and couldnt get more. Andninwas there for almost an hour trying to fix the situation w a very nice associate Sam. She was kind and helpful! But i never should have had such an issue. I do not live close and gas is ridiculous as u know. And I still ended up having to pay MORE. I dont know if I will shop as often as I do there considering I was left to deal w it when I called yesterday evening and was told that I had to call progressive, they were too busy, and I had to figure out what to do. Please understand the issue, paying more on an item, gas used, and all for something that was as easy and knowing what IS and ISNT supposed to be on the sales floor, and then not validated that it was all there in an opened package. I believed the associate when she said it was all there. Thats all, just agitated at the whole thing. Have a good afternoon:)

I love going here and they have such deals. I found a new. Coffee maker for half the price or the exact one at Wal-Mart. I love the new expansion in the store. I feel like a get a wonderful deal on each visit. Also check out their electronics as they have great finds that produce huge savings.

Still getting accustomed to the the new layout. Miss the international items in the freezer but they still have international shelf items. Love the larger store but wish they would get the grandfather clocks back in stock again. Nice employees, as usual.

I always enjoy shopping at the local Big Lots, they carry all sorts of items for the home, school, gardening, food items, etc. The prices are usually a good deal lower then most stores. The store is quite clean and well stocked, never know what treasures one may find there, stop by and take a peek!!

If your looking for cheap prices on things this place is good for that but if you need something exact you might not be so lucky. The employees are all pretty fast checking customers out, and they seem to know their stuff.

Reminds me of department stores of days gone by. Discounted products of all kinds including furniture, food, and home goods. Its hit or miss finding things, but if you do their priced at a discount compared to other department or food stores.

After a bad experience with previous management, a couch and customer service I am pleased to give a 5 star review I wish I could give more! Jacob the furniture manager went above and beyond to insure we happy with the resolution. Not to mention he had an amazing attitude the whole time. It’s rare to find customer service like I received today. Especially with a problem that happened before he took over. He deserves proper recognition, I hope if you had a bad experience before hand you give big lots in Bourbonnais another shot. Because of his customer not only has he gained a return customer but my parents will be going there this weekend to buy a couch. I rarely ever visit this store but when I do, for some reason, staff members always approach me with a really LOUD cringe-worthy greeting. It never fails. l don't have a twin and honestly not too many girls resemble me so I don't know whats the deal with these people here. I could literally stop here for something extremely random like light bulbs or batteries and it will happen." Our store changed up a little. The registers were moved. They have little to no space to check you out. Not sure how to feel about that. If you only go in for a couple of things, it's ok. But, if you actually pick up a few items... this new system is terribly inconvenient.

Store was really big. A lot if room to go up and down isles and not have to wait till person moved out of the isle. Had good selections. More than just one brand to choose from.

Decent selection, and good deals on most things. Furniture section is unassuming at first but has plenty of selection and my table from there is pretty awesome for the price!!
