So I've never been here before nor have I ever heard of this place until today. My daughter texted me, told me to taste her sandwich thats in the fridge...so I did. OMG!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! I can't wait to visit!!!

Just now getting around to acknowledge this excellent neighborhood store! Danny's Market Place is head and shoulders over most neighborhood stores in my time of over 15 years in the Blue Island IL area! Products are too quality, faxing, Money-Gram, even a fresh meat and hot sandwich deli. The Manager(s) are courteous anf people friendly. Pretty good little corner store. I like that they have some produce, although it could be better labeled (labels are often covered up by produce or missing entirely). The selection of produce was also limited, for example they didn't have any carrots. But overall, a decent store.

This place is awesome. A great selection of quality meat and produce, everyday items, and deli. The BEST freshly made submarine sandwiches anywhere. The also have a large selection of alcoholic beverages and lottery. I mainly go for the sandwiches. Mike is a culinary artist!!!

I've had great experiences shopping at this store. The service is well and the employees are very friendly, & often initiate conversation with customers at checkout. They are quite peaky in pricing, but overall are very convenient for the needs of most people. This is a store I'd recommend to locals for a fast pick-up.

Very small local convenience store. Good for a fast snack. That's about it. It's located on Vermont Street in Blue Island so you get the usual clientele of booze hounds, street rats, and homeless. A place I avoid. Prices are also nothing to brag about.

This place has been here for years its good to know that I moved to the area whenmy kids were small & came in for lil nick knacksNow they are grown & it's like a family thing now that we come hereall but one business in the area has folded its good to know that they are still here with that great reputation & service your in & out

The store owner is completely rude. He has made comments to me like "wow you don’t think that’s too much beer" & just has a nasty constant attitude. I don’t go here and I don’t suggest you waste your money or time.

It's in walking distance best thing about it they have decent lunch meat good parfaits lols my half and half and now that ultra is going to be closing they'll probably get more business it's a haven for lottery seekers and alcohol drinkers good place when you need a few items bread milk lunch meat etc

You can find about anything you're looking for in this convenient store. They sell liquor, meats, produce, and even subs! Very nice and helpful staff.

Twice I have a botton bread there that was eaten into by mice. Once I bought a bag of chips there again eaten into by mice. Today I bought ice cream there a quart of ice cream got home opened it up it was all mold I'm done going to this place I will never go there again
