Pharmacy tech had me jump through several hoops with Insurance and getting new prescription through the doctor. Then proceeded to tell me they don’t have either medication‘s in stock, and are unable to order it. There’s a clear issue going on with Walgreens ability to get medication in stock. I’ve been told that none of their pharmacies are able to order two different medications. Not that the medication is back ordered but they are unable to order the medication.

I have gone through the drive thru and gone in to pick up prescriptions. Everytime I go in there's a line and very few people working. Drive thru can be a hit or miss. I do like how I can get prescriptions shipped. However the last time I went I was told the pharmacist was on break and it'll be a half hour. So I go back in after that time frame and was told the same thing. I find that very hard to believe.

This pharmacy is probably the worst one I've been to, unfortunately. An intern I saw at the doctor's office prescribed me a medication I was allergic to and the pharmacy didn't catch it (my actual doctor told me they should have), and they make you feel as if you're inconveniencing them at all times. I'm not sure what the issue is there but I'll be changing my default pharmacy to somewhere else, even if I have to drive farther away.

Nathan the pharmacist is a douche. he was no help at all. Would not let me talk to explain my situation on my prescription at all. He kept interrupting and telling me I was basically wrong when I had already got my refill approved and just needed sent to another Walgreens. Get a new pharmacist :).

Today, I broke up with Walgreens. I am done. I should not have to dread going to the pharmacy. Instead of making it easier to get a refill by phone, they have complicated the process. You must now talk directly to a pharmacy staff member if you don't have the script number (which was on the packaging that was thrown away, because that's what you do with used packaging), instead of allowing their employees to focus on the (always very long) line of customers. They will spend the time to make an unsolicited phone call to ask about refills when it isn't convenient, and when requested, refills are not done on time. Hugely inconvenient when you live out of town, and frustrating when you get an apathetic, "If you want to drive around, it'll be ready in about 15 minutes," as if gas is cheap and money grows on trees. The employees seem not to care, and why is that? Because that's the tone from cooperate, the same people who shrug when you tell them the app isn't working and so you can't fill your prescriptions online. Goodbye, Walgreens. Try harder next time. Oh, wait. There is no next time, as I plan to never set foot in this establishment again.

The pharmacy is terrible. They say your perscription is ready and then you get there and it's not ready. You wait in line for 20 minutes to sit for another 20. They call your name and then you have to stand back in line rather than being able to go up and grab it. It's ridiculous and there needs to be changes made.

Walgreens is really going downhill. It would probably help if they paid their workers a livable wage and didn't expect them to juggle multiple jobs on top of it. But get all the blood out of your employees you can I guess and when customers stop coming in don't be surprised.

I am very upset I've asked on multiple occasions for the strawberry lindt chocolates and they're never in stock and I think it's unacceptable for them to have every kind of Lindt chocolate except for the ones I've been asking for for months so this is why I wrote a one star. don't go to this place. It's trash and the workers are mean. Especially when I try to pick up my medicine. The workers are mean.

Walgreens has really went down hill lately and this one is no exception. Came here today-and prices are marked wrong, coupons do not work and the cashiers just act like whatever get over it. They can't explain it and they wont even attempt to correct it

I've had to use multiple different Walgreens locations due to both college and my work involving traveling. This is by far the worst Walgreens I've used. The pharmacy appears to be understaffed, resulting in long lines AND non-standard behavior by the staff they do have. I was at a window for a vaccine appointment, but the woman at my counter abruptly left with no notice of any kind (with my insurance card that they should already have on file). I waited around 10 minutes, while another employee came in, opened another counter, and processed multiple people for the SAME vaccine. When she came back, no she acted like no time had passed.Only reason it gets a 2 is because it could be worse.

Do not order photos from here. Every year I order holiday cards through Walgreens and this was my first time doing it at this location… they were HORRIBLE quality. I’m a photographer and I’m warning you and I never knew that they quality could get that bad. I have never had this issue at any other Walgreens before. The images are professional high quality images that I used. Then unfortunately the employees were very annoyed that I wanted a refund and very rude about it... just save your time and order from Mpix for only a couple dollars more and amazing quality!

The pharmacy had to change their hours effective July 7, I assume due to staffing. However the Walgreens website did not update their hours leading to my partner having to go to the hospital when he couldn't get his meds. The pharmacist told me he'd requested the change on July 6, we were there about a month later. When I sent a complaint into corporate, hoping for an acknowledgement of the impact their mistake, i didn't get a response. The email said I'd hear within 2 business days, but nothing. So I called and got bounced around, told there was no complaint and then that there was. I was told that someone should have followed up and that now definitely the district manager would. To no surprised, nothing. Shortly after this, when one of the other Walgreens pharmacies closed suddenly for several days, they lost another pain medication Rx. Honestly the only excuse is if a pharmacist got arrested. Will not be using them after this.

The pharmacist here is rude and condescending. Gave us the wrong inhaler for our son and refused to correct the issue unless we paid out of pocket. He was clearly already in a bad mood before we even spoke to him. Not the sort of person you want handling medications.

I was the 2nd customer in line at opening for the pharmacy. They told me it would be only about an hour for my prescription to be filled. We waited almost 2 hours as other customers were in and out. Then we finally get my order just for them to have the wrong phone number in the system. They didn't even correct the number, she just told me what it was so I could enter it in to confirm. Use a different location or pharmacy unless you have time to waste and are looking to be aggravated.

Rarely do I get to a Walgreens and they have my prescription filled. It's more or less, "we will have that ready for you in 15 to 20 min". Almost like they wait for customers to show up first before they begin working on it. I can't be the only one who has experienced this.

This is definitely the worst Walgreens. I was waiting in line, on crutches for 5 min without a word from the person standing there. And it just looked like she slowly trying to count the drawer. So I got a little rude with the lady who just allowed a person to stand in line on crutches for 5 minutes. It may not seem like awhile but for someone dealing with the pain? It's alot. And the manager, instead of calming the situation down..she made it worse.

The pharmacist (Jennifer?) just helped me on the phone with an issue with my insulin that another store would not deal with. Kind, professional, and helpful. Thank you, I appreciate you!

This is the WORST walgreens ever. Like in the history of walgreens. There lines are always long, they're customer service is the worst, they suck. Genuinely. They need to be under new management. Today, no one decided to call me and tell me that there was an insurance issue on my meds. Its Saturday. I have one day left. This could be life of death. The guy I spoke with was horribly rude and just told me to call my insurance and kept accusing me of saying things I didn't say. I just told him he was worthless and hung up on him. Since its Saturday, my stuff isn't being processed and I can't even get a hold of anyone until then there. And this walgreens can't do anything and didn't offer any alternative solutions. Worthless store. Absolutely worthless people

When I and the wife 1st began using the Oakland Ave store it was great. Quick drive-thru and deliveries twice weekly to our retirement home. Now, after covid, NO DELIVERIES, constant prescription delays and lines around the building. Transferred ALL our prescriptions to Humana at no cost - that will cost Walgreens almost $2500 monthly in prescriptions !!!

Pharmacy closed early at 6pm according to a paper sign, (supposed to be extended hours location) I was there at 5:50, drive thru was closed, waited in line for 5 minutes for the staff to tell me they’re closing now and I’ll have to come back tomorrow, keep in mind it’s not even 6:00 at this point. Tried to ask if they could help me get my sick 16 month olds prescription I was waiting on all day for them to fill, staff then ignores me and closes the windows down. Unbelievable

I switched to Walgreens from CVS because it was closer. I'm switching back. The staff is extremely slow. I've been contemplating switching for a while but this morning after waiting 15 minutes in the Drive-Thru for help when I was the only person in line, I decided it is time. They've also shortened their hours of operation at the pharmacy so I was unable to get my medication last night because they closed 4 hours earlier than they have advertised. in addition, here in Illinois we have a new law stating that any time a new medication is prescribed, a pharmacist must speak with you about it. I just picked up a brand new prescription and the pharmacist did not ask to speak to me about it..

Spent 10 minutes in line for drive through pick-up, line wasn't moving at all. No problem I thought, I'll just go inside. Another line up, also not moving. Oh well maybe they're short. Nope three techs and pharmacist chatting away, ignoring the lines. 25 minutes later I finally got my stuff that should have taken me 3-5 minutes. That's fine, lesson learned. I'll save time going to any other pharmacy in town... possibly Peoria.

I'm currently sitting in line at the drive thru having an asthma attack. It has been 10 minutes and only one car has been served. Now I have to decide if I can last until the 4 cars ahead get served, or if I'm going to have to drive to prompt care. This pharmacy cannot be any slower.

Nice clean store. They carry the items that are common for convenience store pharmacy combos. Their pharmacy is extremely slow when dropping off. It appears all priority is to the drive-thru lane.

We've had normal experiences previously, but the pharmacy was very lacking today. My girlfriend was sick and had a prescription sent to this pharmacy. We were told it would be about an hour. We called them back an hour and a half later and was told it would be another half hour. So we then went to the drivethrough after waiting the half hour then an additional 20 minutes in line, just for the tech to tell us it would be another half hour or so. I understand if its a busy day, but then they shouldn't give times that they can't meet. If they told us it would take three hours because they're understaffed and having a busy day, I can get behind that. But jerking around customers for hours is awful service.

They never have my medication ready when the app told me it already was, they have shorten their pharmacy hours to Monday through Friday 9-6 and closed on Saturday and Sundays. I'm switching to CVS pharmacy

I had an amazing experience here, both the pharmacy technician and the woman working the cosmetics counter who came to my aid in a line to check me out were just incredibly kind and helpful. They are often very busy and understaffed and they still made a point to be pleasant and kind.

Horrible pharmacy and pharmacist. I ha an emergency during a business trip. Their customer service was horrible and they offered no help whatsoever. I ended up at Kroger pharmacy across the parking lot. They were polite and provided great assistance. I’ll never enter another Walgreens again.

I was flying out of the country for a couple weeks and had been prescribed pills to prevent malaria. I had it filled at Walgreens. I picked up the prescription and was simply told, "Here you go. Be well." I realize at this point I should have opened the bag and counted the pills, but I (stupidly) trusted that Walgreens had filled my script correctly. I drove up to a suburb of Chicago were I was spending the night before getting on a plane at 5:00am at O'Hare. It was 5:00pm and I opened my prescription to take the first pill, only to find that I had been given a partial fill. This had not been disclosed to me when I picked up the prescription. I called this Bloomington Walgreens, thinking "Ok, no big deal, I'll just have them transfer the script to a Walgreens out here." Nope. I spoke to a pharmacy tech (Charity/Chasity??) who seemed to initially be helpful, but I quickly felt she would rather get me off the phone. I was told that I had to pick up the remainder of my script in Bloomington, that they would not transfer the script. I explained that I was now 150 miles away from Bloomington and getting on a plane in 12 hours. Even if I could drive back to Bloomington, they would be closed long before I would arrive.I asked her to help me find a pharmacy she could transfer the script to. Because apparently they cannot search stores by zip code or area code, she needed me to suggest towns nearby that she could search. Being by this time about 6:00 on Saturday, the only pharmacies still open were 24 hour pharmacies.I was, throughout all of this, driving around the suburbs, trying to use Google maps to find a 24 hour Walgreens, and still trying to convince the tech I couldn't drive back down to Bloomington, and I was in a time crunch for meds I needed. This whole process took nearly an hour and a half. The tech was by this time being short with me on the phone. She finally told me that there was no one who would give me the remainder of the meds. She said that they had given me a partial fill because they were short on this medication. I pointed out that when I picked it up I was not informed it was a partial fill. She said I should have checked the bottle. I said I understood, but the fact was I couldn't physically be in Bloomington to pick up the rest of the script, and I was getting on a plane in several hours and needed some help to resolve the issue. She said it would be up to the pharmacist at whatever 24 hour Walgreens I found to decide if they would fill it, but that they would refuse. When I finally got to a Walgreens in Naperville, I was in tears. The pharmacist there quickly filled my script without any problem, and mentioned he'd had to deal with the Oakland Ave pharmacy before and he'd had trouble then too. I can't say enough good things about the Naperville Walgreens, but I cannot forgive the oversight from this Walgreens. I also can't forgive that when I called to ask for help in fixing the issue, they eventually told me the whole situation was my fault and became rude to me on the phone. Long story short: if there is an issue with your meds, they will not help you fix it, even if it was their mistake.
