Shelves seem well stocked and this location comes in handy instead of going to a bigger box store. Quick in and out with over the counter medicine, dairy, snacks, household products, gift cards and greeting cards. Polite, courteous staff. Conveniently located just off Main Street.

Just called in to pharmacy regarding a prescription my mom was taking. Tried to explain to why I was calling in and she said to me “ so what is your question”. I asked the question and she said “no that would not affect her BP. Then said “does that answer your question.” Did not ask what the med was or what her BP was. My husband and I use to use a different Walgreens and moved our business else where because of this poor service.

Well stocked drug store, friendly employees, clean ailes. Weekly sales and discounts offered by signing up as a rewards member- it's free and they won't call your number.Make-up and skin care products often go on sale or discounted when you purchase more than 1 item.

Their prices are absolutely ridiculous!And there never seems to be much of anything on that rewards card.Go to Walmart; I saved almost $4 on an item.

The pharmacy needs some updates. I understand that supply is an issue right now for a lot of different things but to not inform people that their medication has been on back order for months while repeatedly telling them they will be able to pick it up Tomorrow is unacceptable. If you can’t fill the prescription, you should tell the patient that, Or maybe the doctor. All I know is that telling people for almost a week that they can pick their medication up tomorrow just so that they can find out you haven’t had their medication in months and have no idea when it will come in, is unprofessional and potentially dangerous. There needs to be a better and more honest form of communication when dealing with people’s prescriptions.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy in BloNo. Terrible service and the staff is extremely rude. I have a severe ear infection with perforated ear drum. My doctor saw me in the morning and called in several prescriptions in right away so I could get started on them today. After waiting hours, I called the pharmacy and the lady was rude and said they would text when ready. Waited and waited and finally called again because it was getting close to their 6 pm closing time. Same lady with the same rude response. Needless to say I didn’t get my prescriptions. Tomorrow I’m changing to a new pharmacy, something I should have done a lot sooner. If I could have I would have given zero stars.

Dropped off prescriptions for a family member with cancer who had been discharged from the hospital and needed pain medication & antibiotics. After being spoken to rudely by the pharmacy tech, we were informed that he would be called or texted when the prescriptions were ready within the next hour or two (this was around 3-4pm, plenty of time before closing)- unfortunately this alert never came, the pharmacy closed, & all of the Walgreens stores in the area have switched hours so that there is no 24-hour pharmacy. He is now without much-needed medication because no other pharmacy will fill the prescription after it has already been received by Walgreens. The closest 24-hour store is an hour away. We’re extremely disappointed and will not be using Walgreens Pharmacies ever again.

Go anywhere but here. I only go here because this location is two blocks from my house. However, I am changing to another Walgreens location, or maybe CVS. This location never has enough people working. Always long lines. Something always goes wrong. There is a reason that the rating for this location is 2.5 stars.My most recent visit was on this past Thursday to pick up a basic prescription. I went around 6:00. I went inside, and there was one person ahead of me. I was waiting in line, and the pharmacist told me that the pharmacy was already closed, and that they were just finishing up with the previous person. I told them that my prescription was going to be put back on the shelf if I did not pick it up. They told me that they would put a note in not to put it back on the shelf.I went in today, Saturday, and they told me that there was nothing in the system for me. They told me that after 10 days that they put the prescription back. They told me that no one left any note to leave the prescription as filled, so now they have to refill it again. I cannot wait to go back a third time to try and get my prescription.

I love the store itself but the pharmacy drive thru is way too slow. I used to be a Walgreens pharmacy tech so I have some insight on how they run. Techs need to tell people to come back later when it’s ready or come inside to wait while they fill it instead of letting it back up the car line. The point of a drive thru is to be quick. Stop catering to entitled people.

I had an appointment for my son for a shot. We drove 30 miles to get to store, only to find out that the pharmacy was closed. I get that unforeseen things happen, but I was upset that we received no notification whatsoever that our appointment had been cancelled. I asked the cashier what we needed to do and she had no idea. She hadn't been given any instruction.I'm giving two stars only because the cashier was very sweet and apologetic for something that was not at all her fault.

Quite literally the worste Walgreens I've ever set foot it. My son had an appointment earlier today for his first COVID vaccine. He and my wife waited a good 40-45 minutes past their reserved time to be seen. My son, being only 5, is not a fan of shots. When he got upset and flinched as the needle was inserted, the person giving the vaccination threw up their hands and said they couldn't handle that. He then proceeded to blame my wife for him moving too much despite her holding him firmly. They were forced to leave with no vaccination and my son in tears. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. If you can't hire competent staff, then close the store.

Tl;dr Absolutely the worst pharmacy in BloNo. Go somewhere else. Transfer your Rx’s.1) They “run out” of essential and common drugs regularly, causing 1-2 day delays (at least) in getting refills done. Then they don’t bother updating the ordering system when they do get filled - meaning you don’t get a notification *and* you can’t use express pay.2) Once I pulled up at the pharmacy drive through at 5:40 pm (they close at 6) and was told to come inside to pick up my Rx order. I did, and saw a pharmacist coming towards the front of the store as I was walking towards the back. I said, “hi, you just told me to come inside to get my prescription.” He said “No I didn’t. We don’t have your prescription.” Kept walking by me the whole time.3) In one afternoon I called 4 times over the course of 3 hours, trying to track down my “delayed” refill. Got hung up on - not disconnected, HUNG UP ON - all 4 times. Finally someone answered the next morning and was still super rude. Oh and my refill had been ready since the previous day but had never been updated/notified.

I made an appointment to get my flu vaccine from this Walgreens. They got me in to get the shot an hour after my appointment. Meanwhile I’m having to waste an hour while my son was at home hungry. Something that should have been fast, that I even arrived early for, took far too long. I want to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but it’s really difficult with such garbage service and care. Do not recommend to anyone.

My issues are mainly with the pharmacy. This is the only Walgreens I’ve been to where you will be ignored by the pharmacy staff for several minutes before they help you. Trying to pick up a prescription that is ready is a 30 minute process. I loathe going to this Walgreens and have only used it as a last resort because it is conveniently located near my work. But that no longer is a good enough excuse to subject myself to waste so much time.

I received all of my help from Penny in the beauty center from the time I walked in the door to the time I purchased my items. I am relatively new to the world of makeup and cosmetics, so I was nervous about choosing the right product for my needs. I am not exaggerating when I say that Penny gave me some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I was especially pleased with her attentiveness and her product knowledge. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Even though I went slightly over of my original budget, she made sure I found products whose value would be worth the extra investment. I purchased a beauty tool I had never used before, and she took the time to explain best practices with use and cleaning for this product. Needless to say, I will be coming back to this store to get help from Penny the next time I need any kind of beauty product.

I usually don't frequent this Walgreens location, but needed to today. I arrived to the store at 4:45pm. I waited in line at the pharmacy for over 35 minutes for a prescription they told me was ready. When I was finally helped at the pharmacy window, I was told that it would "be a few more minutes before it would be finished." I asked to wait at the window, but was told to step aside and "shop" if I would like to. Five minutes after I stepped out of the line, my name was called overhead. I asked someone behind the counter if I could get my prescription now, but I was told to go to the back of the line- which was now 9 people long. The worker behind the counter was going back and forth between the customers in line & the customers at the drive up window- Just as she had been doing the entire time. I waited another painstaking 20 minutes to finally get my perscription. I am beyond frustrated with the Walgreens employees' complete disregard for mine and the other customers' time. What's more, the young female cashier at the front of the store, wasted another 7 minutes of my time because she was too busy chatting with her fellow employee that had checked out ahead of me. It took me OVER AN HOUR to pick up one "completed" prescription and two food items at this Walgreens locatio! I am completely disgusted with their customer service and will NEVER be returning!

I get Covid test weekly per my employers request. When I pulled up there was a pharmacist tech (Older Caucasian woman, with short hair & glasses at the drive thru window). She asked me to see my ID...I held it up like they always ask. She told me she couldn't see it. I then read off what my ID clear as day showed (my name & DOB). She then sent the Covid test out to me. She didn't give instructions, she literally said nothing. I then sent it back to her when I was finished. I waited to see if she was going to say anything else. And she then asked me did I need anything else. I let her know how unprofessional she was & rude! I work in healthcare so I get it...people are frustrated, understaffed etc. But she had absolutely no right acting that way. I was going to pull my car around & go in to speak to someone. But I rode off & immediately called. I spoke with a manager & she was very polite. She is definitely someone that does not need to have interactions with customers. I'm sure someone else would be thankful for the job opportunity!

My family has used Walgreens pharmacy for 30 years and this locations pharmacy was so bad I had to leave. It's never a quick trip. Some of the employees are great people but they're horribly understaffed and they acknowledge the problem but refuse to act. In time they will lose enough business and become obsolete. If rather go to the DMV lol.

Dear Walgreens Pharmacy you need to work on your customer service! Why is that I have been using this same pharmacy and refilling the same prescriptions for 5 plus years and yall still can't get it right! Why is that everytime I come and pick up my prescription at 4 pm that I called it at 6am its never ready! Why is there always some ingredient out of stock! Why do I always hear this after waiting in the drivethough for 10-15 minutes! Why can you not just pick up the phone and call me and tell me my prescription won't be ready! Better yet why can't you be problem solvers and call me up and say we're sorry we are unable to full your prescription today but we called around and there are other Walgreens that can, where would you like us to send it! I've waited up to two and a half days for you all to fill prescriptions and not once did you try and troubleshoot the situation! I had to be the one to tell you to have another store fill the prescription! Its rediculous and yall need to do better! When someone calls in a prescription at 6am it is very reasonable to expect it to be ready at 4pm not two plus days latter! How about a little communication! Also how about faster service and cutting down on unnecessary questions like do u have a rewards account? Verify your address when u know good and well who I am! And how about stop with all the extra questions and taps on the card machine! All of this would greatly improve customer service!Sincerely,A very unhappy fed up long time customer!

The pharmacy staff are great people, but horribly understaffed. I just waited in the drive thru line well over an hour to pick up one medication. Was told it was ready to pick up online, show up, wait 30 minutes in line, told it was almost ready and asked me to go around. Sat in line for another 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

I usually go to the Walgreens on Wood St in Bloomington. Never, ever have I been treated rudely. Today I was in the one on Emerson and Main/Center and I was in the make up section and woman approached asking to do a skin test as I was looking at facial cleanser. I go to Walgreens because parking is close and I can get in and out of there quickly! She was a little rude stating "if you would let me test your skin, which is less than 30 seconds I could help you." I didn't ask for her help in the first place! I stated I was IN A HURRY, from the start of the conversation! Then, their debit processing was down, fine I can write a check, I asked the elderly man if I need to write it out, he answered with garble I didn't understand so I then asked for a pen. He then said "I told you we run it through the machine, you asked I answered!" and he was quite snippy in his comment!!I should have just set my stuff down and walked out. I have a business myself, and if I treated MY customers this way, I would be OUT of business! Walgreens, you need to put speakers on your cameras because some of your staff is quite rude!

This is the only Walgreens in Bloomington-Normal that has a very slow operating pharmacy system. Not only that but some of the pharmacy technicians lack friendly service and proper communication and seem like they are under to much stress and pressure. They are not open for lunch hours because they don't have staff to cover them to take a lunch break. I lived near this area for many years and the very slow service and bad customer service is consistent.

Awful Pharmacy! I chose this Walgreens when I was attending ISU because it was close to where I was living. I do not live in Bloomington now and I have to transfer my prescription to another Walgreens. Called this Walgreens today and was on the phone for 30+ minuets. Nobody answered my call and it got hung-up. Awful customer service. And this pharmacy screwed me over with one of my medications because they took it off and I had to call my doctor and have her put it back on my list of medications!!!! Do not recommend them at all. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Made an appointment on line for a flu shot. Arrived 10 minutes early as requested. Was told by a man at the counter that the pharmacists was not there, he had gone to lunch. I said but i had this appointment time. He said he didn't care, that i could come back later. Why have time slots to pick from if you are going to just ignore them!

Great team of workers here in the store and the pharmacy. The pharmacy always takes care of any insurance issues, reminds me of my rewards, advice of how to give my daughter medicine by syringe, and even when I'm that customer that has to come 2 mins before they close they're always happy to help still and I know how that can be lol

Usually get good customer service here but today will stick out like a sore thumb for a long time. Not going to say the customer service rep’s name but she gave the most horrible rudest service since I’ve been shopping here. She needs to learn a thing or two in some customer service drills or from the older store associates before she drives business away.5/20/20 3:30pm the particular associate was working front register if store manager would want to run this by their store associates.

Was told by pharmacy staff that my prescription would be ready in a half hour. Came back 1.5 hours later and not only was it not ready, but I watched the obviously stressed attendant be super rude to multiple people in line after me (scripts were not ready for the next 5 folks behind me). Talking down to folks as if they're stupid, just copping a huge attitude. It's probably a difficult job when things get busy, but I was shocked at how much more difficult this lady was making it for herself and the pharmacist on duty by being so curt and mean.

Best Walgreens in town! The customer service at this location is outstanding. They always make me feel welcome when I walk in. Anna and Penny are awesome, they always keep a smile on their face and assist me with any questions I have in a professional manner.

I called these people to know the details about my fedx package which was missing and I was not able to track it right from the moment I dropped it off at Walgreens fedx.Worst worst response from the employee .I don’t know the lady who spoke to me day before yesterday,she was so rude .I literally felt I was wasting my time by talking to her the way she was responding,arguing everything ,I was really frustrated and I just hung up on her.people call you only if they have any concerns,just tell them if you know, if not just say you can’t or you don’t or suggest something’s else but please don’t be rude.Try to be polite
