I was in this Walgreens in Bloomington to take passport photos with my wife. I paid $73 for 8 photos (four each). I requested for digital copies sent to my email but was told by the lady who served us that that couldn’t be done. I left Bloomington just after taking those pictures.When I got to my destination I decided to read on the Walgreens website their passport photo policy and realized I was entitled to get the digital copies. I called the store and was met with this rude female. She wouldn’t let me explain what happened. In the end I had to end the call.I called again and got through to Brian. Words cannot describe how amazing this man is. I only spoke with him on phone but Gosh, the level of professionalism, his attitude, his control on dispute/conflict resolution is simply amazing. He even found out that all our pictures had defects and would fail so he had no choice but to void the transaction. This is the type of individual organization should protect at all cost. Thanks Brian for being amazing at what you do.

Spoke to David, store manager about this problem with the pharmacy.Look at ALL the bad reviews .Walgreens does not service Veteran's community provider prescriptions.Why?Was told 10:45 the prescriptions would be ready. It is now 1. Not sure why...It took 3 hours for them to tell me that I cannot get VA prescriptions from a community provider filled at Walgreen's. Back in the car for a third drive over. Not shopping at any Walgreens EVER.

Worst pharmacy I have ever gotten medicine at in my entire life. Pharmacists are rude. Went to pick up 2 medicines that have been there since Friday but only one is ready but you can wait 45 minutes for the other if you want to wait. Trash . I wish I knew who else to complain to this is the worst service I have ever experienced. If they can’t handle the load they shouldn’t even be open. Although I bet if they were open past 6:00pm they could actually get their orders filled

This review is specifically for Jamyra who helped me through the photo department. I had ordered a calendar before Christmas to give as a gift. The initial calendar that was printed had errors and the binding cut off photos and the month of the calendar. I called the store to ask for a reprint. I wasn’t sure if I needed to do anything on my end to make the print better. Jamyra helped me and said that she would personally check the reprint and call me to let me know if I had to make edits. She called me back about an hour later and let me know it printed and looked great. I picked it up with no problems and the reprint she did was perfect.

I had an 11:45 appointment for a Covid shot. I showed up 2 minutes early. It took ONE HOUR to get the shot. Absolutely unacceptable. I really hate people wasting my precious time. They checked me in THREE times (I did it online prior to my appointment), and then TWICE at the store, by filling out paperwork, answering the same questions, etc., and yet, 1 hour in and out. Even a lady who came after me was taken care before me. Absolutely unacceptable. And the customer service was mediocre at best. They don't even care. "We're very busy" I was told. Am I not also a customer?I am writing this review now and I see the store has a 1.8 average review on Google. I should have checked before making the appointment, but anyway, GOODBYE WALGREENS. I will never bring my business to Walgreens again. There are other choices around here.

If I could give zero stars I would they do not even deserve half a star. Everyone please if you read this take your business to the Walgreens off of Oakland here in Bloomington. They have same hours and everything but they are not rude and they get you your meds when you’re supposed to have them. This is the absolute worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to. They put you on hold for 30 minutes and then come back and tell you “Yes sorry they don’t make that medication anymore”. Women didn’t even do her job nor check anything because the Walgreens on Oakland in same town of Bloomington had no problem getting the medication and it will be filled by 1:00pm tomorrow. This place needs to be shut down immediately. Non of them know how to do their jobs , all they do is what they want to and that’s it. I was waiting to pick up medicine one day last month and over heard a tech training another and she said “ so we have to have all these completed tonight before close right? And the person training replied “technically yeah but honestly just do how many you want and say your done.” Again I’ll say worst pharmacy in Bloomington Illinois no doubt about it. Also all my meds are due on the same day every month but yet when it’s due to be refilled they tell me it’s going to take 8 more days! Um excuse me? These are automatic refill and should be due on the 5th. They were going to let me run out of my medication and be out of it for a week. I’d literally have to re start one of my medications.

If I could give this pharmacy no stars I would! My daughter has strep throat her prescription was sent in yesterday before they were closed. They didn’t have it ready when I went to pick up and they were about to close so I waited til today at 1pm. They told me it would be 40 minutes. I was annoyed but came back after 40 minutes through the drive thru again and they tell me it will be 20 minutes because the pharmacist was giving vaccines… I argues a little but at one point the girl just shut off the speaker and went to the next person in the other lane. So I drove around parked walked myself my infant and my daughter who was spiking a fever again when it was several hours too soon to give her anything more for the fever and she was shaking from chills inside the store and went off on them and THEN they moved into gear and got me her medicine. Such an awful experience I do not recommend anyone use this pharmacy

The service at this Walgreens is abysmal. The pharmacy isn't open on the weekends, then only 10-6 on weekdays. Combine this with extremely slow service, makes it very difficult to get prescriptions without missing work. Definitely wouldn't come here if it wasn't for my insurance making it much more expensive to go elsewhere. Though will be going on the hunt of one of the other Walgreens might be better. Hard to imagine they'd be much worse.

2023 yup still the most rude and unorganized pharmacy in Bloomington. You would think after 5 years they would get a clue my favorite response is that we are doing better now with new people. Well if you treated your customer the same way as your employees I can definitely see why the service is so dang bad.2018 - Definitely the worst pharmacy in town. Been dealing with them for years and its either, rudeness, slow lines that take 45 minutes to get to the counter or when they call in your script they seem to magically not get it back even though 5 different doctors send them in and all 5 state they have been sent in.

The pharmacy is consistently slow, and the people are consistently rude. I tried to go through the drive through tonight. The hours state they are open until 6. It was 5:45, which I realize is close, but it is within the stated hours. There was a woman standing outside who was rude and uncaring and said the drive through is closed. I asked her why it was closed before 6, and she rolled her eyes and just said it’s closed. If you want to close at 5:45, you should list that as your hours so that people who need their medicine can make appropriate plans. We will be switching pharmacies.

Believe the hype. This place sucks. They will message you that your prescription is ready then you will go here and it won't be ready. Any sort of prescription takes far too long at this location. You're better off taking your business to CVS.

This pharmacy is terrible- i switched over here cuz the one on main and emerson was slow and rude people. Well this one isn’t any better. I fill my prescription and it takes them weeks to fill it, everytime i run out of my medication. Or they say it’s ready for me to get there and it’s not. I call and get put on hold for long periods of time. I go there to get my medication and they are very rude, and don’t take time to listen to you. The staff always have attitudes. They need some customer service attitude checks here and fast. I’m switching again it’s that terrible. Will never go back.

Consistently late on refilling prescriptions. Not sure why this pharmacy is always delayed. The wait line to get assistance is always long. Something needs to change here, it’s been like this ever since the first time I used this pharmacy.

WARNING! Do Not Reccomend. Worst pharmacy in town . The middle aged lady is extremely rude. My son was having trouble breathing and they told me to come back in an hour 3 times for his Albuterol, all 3 times I returned it still wasn’t ready. I called the Walgreens on fort Jesse and towanda and they filled the prescription for me in 5 mins.

Caution: Do not fill prescriptions at this (update: or any other Bloomington-Normal) Walgreens. This place is the least dependable pharmacy in all the history of drug dealers. They've given me the wrong medicine. Their message will tell you that the pharmacy is open, but when you drive there, guess what- they lied. They have even told me come back at a specific time for pick up, then when I go back, they're closed. These things have all happened more than once....shoot, they've all happened more than twice! Aren't there some kind of minimum standards to be considered a pharmacy? THIS IS THE LAST TIME THAT I'M NOT GONNA GET MEDICINE BECAUSE YOU PAY YOUR WORKERS PEANUTS. This place sucks. You need to put a question mark on your sign after the word "Pharmacy".

They overdosed my infant when filling his prescription incorrectly- I stayed with them after this because they were the only 24hr pharmacy in town. Now they have screwed up my prescription the last 5 months and shared nothing but excuses even though I called multiple times to have them fix the issue. I am done with them. I know pharmacies are short staffed and people are over worked but at what point is accountability taken?

I submitted a prescription at 1:00 today, the day before Thanksgiving. They told me it would be filled by 3:30 pm. It wasn’t. They told me ot would be filled by 6:00 pm. It wasn’t. Now it’s 7:30 pm. The manager, Jessie, said I would need to go to another Walgreens. They will not fill it before close. Jessie admitted they do not fill prescriptions in the order they’re received, but would not explain why she feels that’s appropriate. I told her I would have to go to the ER to get medication. She said “I’m sorry ma’am. There’s nothing I can do about it.”Make sure you go here in person on busy days. I waited all day for them to fill the prescription as they said they would, and they didn’t. Because I believed them, I can’t get my medication and will have to go to the hospital. “Sorry ma’am! We just made stuff up all day! Unfortunately, you believed us. We’re in no way responsible for causing any sort of health crisis due to providing false information.”

If you’re coming here for medications, go to a different location. Other employees answer the phone when calling for the pharmacy (even after the whole pharmacy prompt), but they can’t help with anything pharmacy related, so it’s pointless to talk to them. I’ve had to go inside to get prescription status updates. They’ve closed the pharmacy and left people without their medications multiple times with no warning to customers, which isn’t only irritating, but dangerous as these medications save lives. This location is going to kill someone with these actions. They clearly do not understand how problematic and serious this situation is. For your safety, go elsewhere

Wouldn't let me load my chime card bc I didn't have my ID (wallet got stolen and I'm from out of state). Apparently this policy varies from store to store....which is EXTREMELY frustrating. I'm especially annoyed that they don't inform you of this policy until the very end. Like my money was in this lady's hands when she asked "Got ID?" First and last time going to this location.

The pharmacists are rude and purposely make people wait in the drive-thru. Waited as I watched 7 cars go through the first lane because the car in the 2nd had insurance issues. Instead of having that customer go back around like i have had to do in the past, the pharmacist made everyone in that lane wait and then made rude comments to those, myself, when it was my turn. Ridiculous

Went to pick up prescriptions. There was a paperwork issue with insurance. Went home and called insurance company. Two hour phone call, during which the insurance company called this pharmacy three times for some kind of conversation. Finally I was told “it’s straightened out.” Went the next day to get prescriptions, but it was the same, back to square one. Staff did not seem to care, after I had the privilege to wait in line half an hour. Still don’t have prescriptions. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I guess I will move on from these guys, they are usually very slow anyways.

Not very helpful. Cashier was not pleasant. She had to lean on counter to be checked out. Upper management should definitely be checking on this Walgreens. Worst store ever.

If you send off film of any kind, do NOT do it here. I sent off a roll of 35mm to get developed and the place that does it digitalized ALL of my shots. Blown out, pixelated, and out of focus. An entire roll, wasted. One could say it's my fault, but I've never had that issue before. I shouldn't trust a corporation with my film, but in the digital age, all independent film stores are closed so you have no other option.

Just got out a minute ago. She rang a gift card up for the wrong amount. It happens. She thought j said fifteen, when I'd siad fifty. So I told her fifty, five zero not fifteen one five. The gal slumped over behind the checkout desk confirmed ,Nad when asked again re-confirmed that the gift card was for 50, five-zero, I used my hands to show (did so for the camera as her attitude screamed problems from the start), she'd entered it as 15 and told me twice she changed it to 50. I showed her the 15 on the screen before I swiped, she said 'no that's just how it is it's 50 I made sure'. Of course it was still $15.Got a manager who apologized for her not being willing to even stand up behind the counter for a check-out. I'd thought she had a disability the way she was standing and slurring her words, but the manager mentioned she does this often and scolded her and she stood right up and started speaking just fine then. Miraculous. They would not void the card, and I had to buy another $50 card which the manager was able to do no problem. Just a simple transaction with a two-digit number. The manager even gave me a receipt for my purchased and double-bagged on eof the bags the first attendant had ripped and left me with.Help is hard to find right now. No excuses for this though. I'm a blo-no native and this spot has been atrocious for 30 years.

Scheduled an appointment for my 6 year to get his covid vaccine same day. Waited for over a hour and half. Was told they were short staffed. Understandable, but why were appointments available if you didn't have the staff to administrator them.My child was nervous for his shot and sitting there for 1.5 hours didn't help. Corporate the staff has to run a pharmacy. Don't try to make your pockets deeper by scheduling vaccine appointments they can't handle.

I just can’t let it go this time, this pharmacy is a complete joke. I called yesterday 5/11/2022 to refill a pantrazopole prescription. I was told the prescription was filled amd waiting. I came on 5-12-22 to pick up the prescription that “was there”. Show up because I’m physically sick due to being out of this medication I received attitude and was told they would have to look through the pulled prescriptions and could take 20 minutes. This pharmacy is hands down the absolute worst in town. Please do not use them to fill prescriptions, when you desperately need something and they tell you it’s there and then disappears?!?! I need my medication

I rarely leave bad reviews, especially after a pandemic, but the customer service has gone downhill tremendously. The last straw was them messing up my son’s medication that he needs to take every day and cannot stop cold turkey. They told me his medication was rejected, due to an insurance issue. After 35 minutes on hold and talking to people that don’t even work on site, I’m told it was due to a duplicate in their system, and my insurance won’t cover any of it. They fix this and tell me I’m good to go. I go to pick it up the next day, and there’s still no insurance coverage. Now, they tell me I need a pre-authorization from the doctor, because of the dosing on the medication. This actually wasn’t a BIG surprise, as he needed pre-authorization a year ago, and I knew it would need to be renewed soon. The problem is I asked them on the previous phone call if this was the issue, and they told me it was not. So… I buy one week of pills out of pocket, get ahold of my son’s doctor over the weekend, and she rushes the pre-authorization. It comes through on Monday. Keep in mind Walgreens told me that I would not have to do anything special once it was approved. It would show up in their system. I call Walgreens anyway to tell them pre-authorization has gone through, hoping to expedite the situation. They tell me all is well, and the medication will be ready Tuesday morning. Well, it’s Tuesday evening, and they are still trying to charge me $400 for a medication that is usually $10 with insurance coverage. I even had my son’s doctor give me the code so they could easily look up the pre-authorization, because she knows we’ve had such a hard time. Their response: “We don’t see the pre-authorization, and we don’t take codes from patients.” Needless to say, I’m stressed and emotionally exhausted from dealing with this pharmacy. We’re done and going elsewhere. I’ve never in my life had an experience like this at any pharmacy.

I have never written a review for a business before that was negative. But I had time today. I had a prescription sent at about 1 pm, I know they take a while to fill prescriptions so I came at 4 pm later that day. They said it would be an hour..fair enough I decide to wait at the pharmacy since I don’t live nearby. I check in at 5. At this point they tell me it will now be an additional two hour wait…which is annoying because if they said it would be a three hour wait in the first place I could have just gone home and not waste an hour sitting there. So I leave and ask them to text me when it is ready. I am about halfway home when they text me twenty minutes later. Just a frustrating experience. I don’t mind long waits, I get it, but it’s disruptive to my time when I’m told an ETA that changes wildly.

The employees are a TEN but Walgreens as a business needs to get it together!!! 10, 20 years ago Walgreens was excellent as far as the pharmacy and customer service. Every Walgreens! I have never had an issue with employees but your pharmacy is awful. Everywhere! I just happen to use this pharmacy currently. I blame that on Walgreens Corp. They need to hire more people and provide better training. To sit in line for 45 minutes every time I come is unacceptable. Or having to call and repeat myself to a pharmacy rep after having spoken with their call center AFTER a nurse calls to ok my prescription yesterday. They used to short me on my insulin in FL and various other craziness. I have spoken with Walgreens Corp and they don't care. This inefficiency wastes a lot of time and money. I've been loyal for years but I think it's time to go elsewhere.

Left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. Got a text early in morning saying my covid/flu test is ready. Being confused because my test wasnt until the afternoon i called and was told i can come anytime. I came to drive through and they looked me up and said to come inside for test. After standing in line for 10min i was told that i had to come at the exact time and that i had to reschedule for tomorrow because i was too late.Terrible customer service
