I had an amazing time celebrating my 30th birthday here! The cats were pretty well behaved and super adorable. Staff were friendly, informative, and attentive to the kitties. Menu was decent. I had herbal tea, which you can't really mess up, but it was delicious!

We’ve been to 15+ cat cafes this is definitely top 3 . The admission is great for cat cafes since many charge $10+. They had lots of cats and they were friendly even though many just came in . The staff were great and telling us about the cats and they don’t have a huge list of rules but still enough to keep the cats safe . They also allow small children which is good so cats can go to homes of families . The screen around the room was a nice divider instead of glass . We’ll definitely be back

My new favorite place in town! The cats were SO sweet and lovey. Very friendly and playful, all of them deserve the best homes - it's so cool to hear that The Cat's Meow is helping them get adopted. The coffee was really good and all the staff are working so hard! Such a great cause.

The staff here is so nice! It’s a clean and safe environment for the sweet little kitties. I got a strawberry lemonade and it was delicious! Also most of the cats have papers with descriptions and adoption information on them. Lots of cat related books to look at and read in the seating area. Loved it 10/10 💕

This cafe is wonderful! My coffee was delicious, and we loved visiting the kitties and giving them some love. We made appointments in advance and paid a small/nominal fee to reserve our spots. There were some folks who showed up without appointments, and they just had to wait a little bit before entrance because there is a limit to number of visitors at once. I will say, there wasn't an easily visible sign (inside the window and the glare made it impossible to see) so we had a hard time finding it at first - it's the furthest right suite in the building. We will definitely return!

Had a great time meeting all of the kitties. Drank some really good chai, too. The staff were great and very attentive. If you want more one on one time, I suggest going during the week. There were only a few other people there.

the staff was so sweet, the cats clearly had plenty of space to play and sleep, and it was great drinks. i love how they limit the amount of guests in the cat room, it makes it so much better for the cats. i didn't rlly like the layout - but that's not their fault, they're working with what they've got

Cozy little cat café inside what used to be Hair Stadium. Signage outside is still out of date as of late September, though at least there is *also* now a small sign in the window signaling this is The Cat's Meow rather than just hoping you know not to expect a salon, like a kitty speakeasy. You go around the screened-in room with the cats to the barista counter in the back, sign a waiver basically stating you won't harass the cats (yes, you need to sign this for *every* visit), and pay a $5 cover charge *per person* (can reserve a spot/pay online in advance to not have to wait, but it's nonrefundable as a donation toward the care of the cats, and I've already had to miss a reservation due to being sick) plus the cost of whatever you'd like to order from the café. The online reservation system has had hiccups due to inconveniently timed outages on Square's end, and it's annoying to have to submit multiple times for each individual person if you're bringing a family. Short of coding a new system from scratch, though, I'm not sure how they'd do better. For the menu, they have locally sourced vegan and gluten-free options for baked goods! I was also pleasantly surprised to find they have an oat milk based cold foam, a delightful topping on an iced drink for a hot day. There are also non-coffee options like tea and lemonade if you're not the coffee type (or are bringing a kid, for example). All the cats are adoptable via applying through Pet Central Helps; since there is an application process, you're not going to walk out with a cat same-day, but they've had pretty good response and turnaround times of only a couple days as I've observed. After not even being open a month, TCM has already helped Pet Central Helps find homes for 14 cats! I don't recommend the time slots toward the last hour of the day, as there tends to be more people and the cats are pretty much done/in need of a break so won't be as social as if you get in earlier in the day.

The cats are all friendly. There is a barista staff member and a cat room staff member so someone is in with the cats monitoring everything. Drinks were good. Cats were cute.

Staff was incredibly friendly from the moment you walk in! Drinks were super good and affordable, cats were so sweet and adorable. It was worth the hour drive for sure!! Cheaper than therapy but gives the same effect :)

Drinks were good, food was not as good, but for the prices they charged it was fair. There must have been 15-20 cats and they were all extremely friendly. Would highly recommend.

Staff was very knowledgeable about the pets up for adoption. The cat room itself was very clean and very animal centered. It's a nice easy environment to relax and cuddle with the cats. It's also fun just to watch them play and climb and run around. Can't wait to bring Wilma to her new forever home! Also their Chai tea lattes are amazing!

One of my new favorite places to go in Bloomington Normal. I have been 3 times already. Love the vibe and everyone that works there has been so friendly and helpful. It is amazing how many cats have already found forever homes. Thank you for helping take care of the kitties in our community. I would stop by just for the lavender latte. The $5 entry fee is a bargain compared to other cat cafes I have been to in other cities.

Staff is great. Drinks are good. Cats are always rotating. Glad to see this as a model of success for PCH.The reservation system is a pain. I'm very aware that children are only marginally welcome. The $5 entry fee adds up fast for a quick stop. Entry fee applies even with donations to PCH.

Awesome place! Very friendly cats, decent coffee with other drinks available as well as a small selection of snacks. Good to get a reservation since they can only fit so many people in the cat room.

Staff is friendly and quick with the drinks. Their prices are reasonable. The cats are adorable and you can even adopt them! If I had the time I'd go there every single day.

This place is great! There were ten different cats in the cafe when we visited and many of them were quite friendly. The coffee and pastries were pretty good too and very reasonably priced. Be sure to make a reservation online because the place fills up quickly. We traveled from the Chicago area to visit and it was worth the trip!

Staff was very friendly and know their residents well. Really enjoyed spending time with the cats and it is great so many are getting adopted. We appreciated the wide variety of drink selections especially for those of us who don’t like coffee beverages.

Love the idea of Cat Cafes! Loved the treats offered, we had the cinnamon roll. Yummm! Used to having a smaller crowd for the actual cat experience but it wasn't't terrible. We were looking for a new member of the family but the crowd was surprisingly overwhelming for my kids (age 3-16) and we didn't get much to get to bond with any one cat. We'd totally visit again just to hang out though.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon. The admission fee is $5 per person. And a simple selection of drink and snacks. The staff is really friendly and of course the cars are CUTE. Great place to visit if you want to adopt a cat.

Loved this place!! Staff is super friendly and so many cats to hang out with! Prices are cheap and their baked goods/coffee are delicious! (Also many gluten free options which is AMAZING!) A new staple in Bloomington with a great cause!

Very nice experience, for $5.00 entry fee it was very cheap pricing too. Coffees and drinks are like $4.00-$6.00 so not crazy expensive. Cats were very cute, staff were attentive, very clean environment. If you come then it’s important to book a reservation and the cafe has no signs so as long as you follow directions and end up next to a dentist office then you’ve found the place!

Loved getting to hang out with cats that are looking for a home. Loved that I could eat and drink from their menú while visiting with the cats. Their chai tea latte was delicous too. Make sure to reserve your time with the cats.
