I really love creative and fun glasses frames, so this place was like being a kid in a candy store! Even better the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. There was no pressure to rush or buy (though buy we did!). I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in their beautiful little shop and I will be using them for all my future glasses purchases for sure!

I found Specs Around Town online and called Julie to find out if they could help me get a frame that had been discontinued from Wissing, German eyewear manufacturer. Julie worked a miracle and was able to have Wissing custom make my frames. I was so excited to receive my frames securely packaged and shipped by mail to me here in St. Louis. Thanks Julie! I hope to actually visit the store in the near future to see your unique selection of eyewear.

Despite arriving late to my glasses repair appointment, I was surprised to see how hospitable they were! They even offered me coffee and water upon coming in, which really took me a back! They didn't even charge for my repair (although it was a minor one), and cleaned my lenses! The interior decor was really nice as well. I would definitely recommend.

I love getting glasses from Specs Around Town, it is now the only place I will go. My favorite part is that they do a great job helping me pick out frames! The frames are high quality - in my experience they are significantly better quality than those from the eye doctor. They last really well and are always stylish. The shop is also super cute :)

I have to agree with all the great reviews for Specs Around Town! I have quite literally never gotten so many compliments from so many people on my glasses. They offer more variety in color, shape, and style than I've seen anywhere else - with the ability to add customization to fit your specific personality. The hardest part is deciding between so many perfect choices. The staff is amazing and lovely, fun to work with super helpful! Need an adjustment? No problem!Specs Around Town has a strong reputation, and it is well-deserved. They have my loyalty as a customer. I couldn't be more pleased.

Julie and Salema are the best at customer service and suggesting glasses that look good on me. They deliver an honest evaluation and they are just down right fun to be around. Amazing variety of shapes and colors of frames. Check Specs out before you purchase eyeglasses elsewhere. It will be well worth your time and it does not cost anything to look! I've purchased eyeglasses at a major retailer and the phrase "you get what you pay for" come to mind, and those glasses were inexpensive.........both the frame and lenses were of low quality. My first experience at this business was a 10 out of 10! Their selection is over the top. Everyone working here was all about customer service. They leave you wanting for nothing. I purchased two pairs of glasses because I could not decide on only one pair with their fabulous selection. They were very strict with their COVID protocol and I felt very safe. Specs Around Town should definitely be on everyone's destination list. Not only does Specs have an awesome staff they also have unique fun eyewear! Everyone is so knowledge about the lenses and frame collections. It is so unique and fun to know the background of the collection of specs you are wearing.I highly recommend making a trip to Specs Around Town and letting them staff do their thing; by pulling frames, sitting down and trying on with you. All while having fun doing it! It is not the same old thing like at the eye doctor's office. At Specs they like to have fun and learn a little something about each client. You are definitely NOT a number at Specs, you are a valued client. They are excellent at follow up's; whether that be different colors in a certain frame you like or if something comes in they think you'd like, or just to call and see how you are doing in your new specs! They have top notch customer service. People and other business owners should take a look at how well Specs does things! They are also very actively involved in the local community which is a huge bonus in my book! Support local!!

Loved the store and the help that I received when picking out my frames, but after receiving my frames and had a problem with the way they looked and the prescription I was no longer treated the same. I was told that this was no lens crafters and there was no returns. They could send them back if the prescription is wrong or I could go back to see the eye doctor. I'm sorry but I feel paying over $900 dollars on a pair of glasses and get treated like I'm a cheapskate is ridiculous yes I love the glasses they have and the treatment that you receive before getting the glasses but I won't recommend them to anybody. Very Disappointed!
