I called today (Saturday morning) to make a service appointment because my refrigerator quit working during the night. I also had a dishwasher that wasn’t working and asked for that to be assessed at the same time. The person I spoke with was very friendly and I was pleasantly surprised to get a same day appointment. The technician (Matthew) arrived within an hour of my call. He was very courteous and quickly diagnosed the problems and answered all my questions. A part had to be ordered for the refrigerator, so I can’t write a review yet regarding the repair. The dishwasher could not be repaired due to the needed part being discontinued.My only complaint is I was charged for two service calls (one at a discounted rate) because two appliances were assessed. It would have been nice to be informed of that when I made the appointment.Updating now (Tuesday) that repairs have been made:This has been a very good experience from start to finish. The parts were ordered Monday morning and the repairs were completed Tuesday afternoon. The original service call charge from Saturday was deducted from the bill and there was no service call fee for the repair visit. Matthew made the repairs and was on time, efficient, and very polite. He once again answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable.I highly recommend this company.

They trap you in the name service call for $119 and billed $271.00. Don't be fool. I was fooled by them. I would not recommended them. They are robbers. I had replaced my Dryer belt a year ago by Mr. Appliances. It was slipped off twice of after they replaced/fixed. Which they came and fixed last in Feb 2023. I called them for the same issue that belt came off of drum again. They said since it was over one year we will be charge $119, will count toward the repair payment. if there were different issue they will charge additional repair. I said okay. They billed me $271.00 for replacing the same belt which they could not fixed it before. They did not find any other issue. when I argue, they said that $119 was just came out find the problem. Repair cost was additional. I knew what was the problem in my dryer. they charged me Service fees to see my face. What a lame. Repair cost, if it is reasonable, can be accepted but, this is robbery. They used to be reasonable in the past so I called them, never again. It would be more cheaper to buy a new Dryer then Repair by Mr. Appliance.

Codie from Mr. Appliance came out and diagnosed my fridge/freezer not working. He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. It needed a part, so he came back 2 days later when the part came in, and within 2 hours my fridge was fixed! I'm going to use ONLY Mr. Appliance from now on after this pleasant experience! They're the best!

I called Mr. Appliance to give me estimate on fixing a dishwasher leak ($125). The repairman said it'd cost $405 to repair, which I paid in full. I gave the ok to fix it...parts were ordered. The next day a repairman showed up to repair dishwasher. After putting the parts on my dishwasher he made comment that the part may not fix the leak..we let the dishwasher run for a few minutes and no leak so we shut it off and he left. I put dishes in dishwasher and let it run its cycle...the leak returned after just a few minutes of running. I called Mr. Appliance..explained what had happened, the lady put me on hold and returned to say the repairman told you it may not fix the leak, remember that was after the fact of putting on parts. Told her that was unacceptable, placed on hold again so she could talk to her boss..returned to say her boss was in meeting and would call back...of course I didn't get a call back...so for now I had my credit card company dispute the charge. Bottom line, you as a business can't quote me a price to "fix" my issue, put the parts on and then say that might not fix it, and then charge me as if you did fix it. Company 1 ⭐️..as far as the repairman 5⭐️...they were friendly & efficient and cleaned up after they were done.

Very easy and convenient for making an appointment. The technician was very courteous and professional. Our dryer needed a specific part and it had to be ordered. The office was fantastic with their communication to us when the part was in and when the technician would return to install. Would recommend this business to anyone!

I wish I would’ve read reviews before hiring them. Same deal happened to me. They came out, said I needed a part, ordered the $300 part came back put it on and it didn’t fix it. Did a little more diagnosing and they couldn’t figure out the problem so they left and I paid $400 for that. They also stripped the screws out of my less than 2 year old fridge door and said they’re coming to fix it today. I also am disputing the charges on my credit card and reporting to the bbb

We had wonderful service to fix the dryer. He came the very next day on a Friday and the part came in on Monday and the dryer was up and running. They were prompt and professional and very reasonable with the price. Highly recommend them.

My Samsung refrigerator was in need of an evaporator fan & compressor fan. Mr. Appliance was able to get a tech out the next day. They were great with communication. Codie did a wonderful job. Ii would recommend them.

We had a good experience with Mr. Appliance after a scary incident with our gas stove. It turned out to be a simple problem, but our technician JT was very informative about our issue and our stove overall. Beyond fixing the issue at hand, he made me feel that it was actually safe to use the stove again which was much appreciated.

All I requested was to exchange the 4 prong cord to 3 prong cord on my less than a year old dryer. The dryer was unplugged on the technician’s arrival and required no contact with electrical outlets prior to service. The technician still managed to blow out all power in my apartment before even attempting the requested service. The dryer now has a burn mark on it (see photo) that was not there previously. Once the cord was replaced by a competent electrician, it now does not dry the laundry. The technician was impatient, repeatedly used foul language, and was overall rude. In contacting the main office, no help was given nor solutions offered. The technician and his behavior were defended. This is the short version, however, these are the most salient points. I cannot recommend this company and caution anyone considering their services.* Update - the dryer had to be replaced at great expense. The heating element was so damaged that would make it dangerous to operate and very expensive to repair. The technicians that installed the new one had no issues, were professional and efficient. I contacted the BBB, and after a short investigation, the issue was deemed closed as the service provider had made a good faith effort to resolve the issue. The criteria for this decision was not given. My next step is to inform the State Attorney General’s office to file a concern. My hope is that no one has to go through this experience.

"I had an incredibly unprofessional experience with Mr. Appliance of Bloomington, meriting a 0/10 rating. The technician's initial visit was unprepared, not bringing necessary parts for the repair and merely taking a picture of the appliance's QR code. Promises of a quick follow-up were broken, leading to rescheduled appointments and further delays. A subsequent visit by another technician resulted in additional damage rather than a fix, with more parts needing to be ordered and yet another delay. The lack of communication compounded the frustration, as I was left uninformed about the status of repairs and faced significant delays without any update or resolution. The overall lack of professionalism and preparation from Mr. Appliance of Bloomington was deeply disappointing."

Would not recommend.They were very rude, and came at the wrong time.One of the technicians was talking negatively about us in our driveway. Our camera recorded it all. Blamingus that we weren’t ready for him when he shows up at the wrong time.We even called the office to clarify our appointment time and she laughed at us saying we scheduled it at this time…Which we in fact didn’t.. then she quickly realized she was wrong. It was too late though because we had already decided with both attitudes we would not be moving forward with them.Too bad because we had used them in the past.

I used them to work on my LG washer/dryer combo.The tech they sent out was very knowledgeable and very professional.I called on Wednesday and asked to schedule a time to have a tech bring out a drain pump as the unit wouldn't drain and was simply making a lot of noise.I was told they would have to send a tech out to diagnose the problem.I tried to explain to the girl who answered the phone that the combo was in one of my rental units and I did not want to have to impose multiple times and could they check and see if they had the part and when we could schedule a single time for the tech to come out.She then transferred me to parts who wanted the part or model number so they could ship one to me. Not what I wanted, so they had me call the other gal back and she again told me they could send out a tech to diagnose the problem. Again I tried to explain that it was a rental and I wanted to minimize the trips.It got quiet and about 15 seconds later she hung up on me. 🤔😵💫😠So I decided I would have to look around for someone willing to work with me.Too bad, as I was extremely pleased with my first encounter and consider them to be my go too for appliance repairs for my various rentals.Late update: I did receive a voicemail call shortly after filling out my review indicating that I could call back and they would be happy to work with me. Unfortunately, I found a place to order a replacement pump and had ordered it prior to receiving that call and completed the replacement myself.So I have updated them to 4 stars and I certainly will consider giving them a call next time I have an appliance issue.My apologies for the late update.Matt

Mark was awesome! Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Freezer problem was diagnosed quickly, issue was explained thoroughly, and parts were ordered shortly after the diagnosis. Parts arrived the next day and Mark was able to come perform the repair within 30 minutes. Very personable interactions by Olivia and Payton to get everything set up. Making an appointment was easy to do online and problem was diagnosed the next morning. Very impressed with their services! Prices were also reasonable.

Mark did a great job thawing out my freezer and replacing the icemaker. He was super quick and cleaned up any mess. He was also very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and answered all of my questions. I would recommend him for any issues.
