My experience here hasn’t been the best due to Thomas the cashier. He’s very rude to his fellow workers and customers. He knows how to play the role though only if it benefits him it seems. Whenever he sees me for some reason he always call’s management a minute after to come watch me by the registers. Why would I go to your line when you make me un-comfy. I rather do self checkout. Like bro I’ve never taken anything from this place please watch cameras I’ll happily go back into my bank statements and point the days I’ve been here. I would never do wrong but for some reason he singles me out. Please choose better employees, cause now I’m not coming back.

An overweight, black haired male employee both acted as if they were management despite not being able to provide a nametag or any proof of managerial status, and made me uncomfortable with their persistant demeanor and clumsy flirting. I will not return for the foreseeable future.

Beware the witching hours at Ghetto Kroger, roughly 5pm till close, when the area lowlives descend on the store. Otherwise, it's a capable and clean store that tries pretty hard, like the little engine that could.

The bagger Blake and his cashier tonight were phenomenal. Two trashy cashiers were getting into a horrible fistfight and the managers and other staff had to break it up and Blake was outstanding in his customer service as was his cashier. She was very friendly and apologetic. Hopefully the girls in question got arrested and or fired. It was nasty.

Not the first time. Produce and meat goes bad from this location very quickly. Bought chicken thighs today. Tag said 1/24/24. Chicken was spoiled when I opened it to make dinner on 1/20/24

Long time staple of the Bloomington area in a convenient location easily accessible from Main or Center streets. They always have good daily discounts and even have flowers for special occasions. Meat selection is good and cashiers are polite. Convenient city bus stop right across the street.

Neidra is absolutely amazing!! She sets examples for her employees to smile and be friendly. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet her today and she saw me looking for something and immediately asked if I needed help and was going to even take me to the aisle. She's a great addition as the Team Leader, just exactly what the store needed is someone that gets right in and does what they ask of their employees! Love this Kroger, alot of savings on many items, especially meat. Update: Today the young man working at the self checkout was Trenton, absolutely a wonderful fit! He is so helpful and doesn't make you feel like you're a bother when you mess up either! It's so nice to see a young man working and being so helpful to customers. You should absolutely keep this young man and give him recognition!! There's only 1 I ever have an issue with and I realize he is disabled but he is so very rude to customers and tells you to get out of his way when he has plenty of room to walk, just not a nice person at all and when he sees your light he asks, why do you need help?? 🤷 I'm also disabled but I treat others the way I want to be treated, everyone is different I guess. No one wants to be yelled at and told rudely to get out of the way when you know it's coming and you're completely out of the way.

Place is uneducated and they steal from employees. They'll happily take union due from part time employees but give zero of the union benefit. They're garbage. They rub nickel raises in your face as if that is anything. And if you tell them it's nothing. They will take everything away. They think they know better when they know nothing especially the leaders and people that has been there for years. It's like a jr high. Nothing but drama. Trash place with trash people working.

I am a new resident on the west side of Bloomington. I shop here regularly now and I just want to say Ashley is a wonderful employee. She is very helpful and is always knowledgeable about certain products. Tom is always very helpful and pleasant! He keeps a smile on his face even when faced with adversity. Christina (manager) is one of the hardest working managers I've ever seen. She is also very pleasant and loves her position. Although this store lacks a lot of products I am used to shopping for at other locations, the employees make up for my shopping experience!

Feb 2023 Employees here incompetent!!! Why have western union if everyone not cross trained to do it , lady says she don’t know how to do it or have keys to get back there!!! Western unión remove yourself from here no POINT!!! It's close to my apartment, so I shop here a lot. They have great deals on everything from time to time and the produce tastes good.Usually it's not too crowded. And hand sanitizers are priced adequatelyThey also have a Korean soda Milkis here! And my favourite coconut milk drink :3

Had to pick up a Western Union transfer at service desk. The customer service attendant Reuben, was very professional, efficient and friendly. He got my info and quickly processed my transaction with such a pleasant attitude. I will definitely be visiting that location again.

While this Kroger is busy, I've heard that this Kroger is nor the best one that others have seen. THE LIMITED inventory on hand, the lackluster lights, dirty floor, overall appeal of the store needs a whole reboot. Even the self check out needs to be re-done.

Went in today because they had a great sale on Saturday for detergent. But they was out of stock same day. I got an email stating that they were extending the sale because they ran out so quickly. They personally didn't know about the extension. But after I showed them my email they made sure that I was giving my discounts. Great customer service you guys!! No fuss!

IF YOU'RE A CUSTOMER THIS STORE IS FOR YOU! You will be treated by management with the upmost royalty because as we all know, customers matter most. They do not enforce a mask mandate for fear of upsetting their customers (how nice!!!) And I can always see how they treat their employees like canon fodder, whose only purpose is to serve and be happy about it. THANK YOU KROGER for drilling into your workers finally that they do not matter, their feelings do not matter, all that matters is making the customer happy and giving the store a good reputation so that management doesnt look bad. I stopped in here while visiting my son who just moved to town. It's not what I expected from a Kroger's, I expected the big superstore that they have near my house. This is more like a typical small-town grocery store. It was well laid-out had a good selection of products. It's close to my son's apartment so I'm pretty sure he'll be shopping here.

I left my wallet at the cashier today with more money than I should carry. Went back. Everything in my wallet. I thanked everyone but feel I should do more. They saved me, when I'm the one that messed up. Thank you KROGER HONEST EMPLOYEES!!

Easy to find what i was looking for. Older store but very clean & well kempt. Each employee stocking shelves and coolers and up front turned, smiled and said "How are you today?" So polite! Great job Kroger!

Super convenient for a quick run to the store for milk or bread. Always has good deals, especially if you use their app to load coupons to your Kroger card. Staff's always friendly and helpful, the produce is good (albeit somewhat limited compared to bigger stores), and the shelves are usually well-stocked. It's as close as you can get to a true neighborhood grocery store here in BloNo at least.
