This is my go to fabric store but it's not without its flaws, sometimes. The store is organized and the staff for the most part are knowledgeable and always helpful.My biggest complaint is there is most of the time you have to wait to have fabric cut and then have to wait to check out because there are only 2-3 people to run the whole store.Their hours are also incorrect of the website and on google. They are looking into this. I discovered this after driving half an hour into the store expecting it to be open when I arrived at 8:30 PM after checking the web time.

A great store with super friendly workers. I came in late to get glue for a puzzle then ended up picking up another puzzle as well. They have the most beautiful puzzle designs here for a nice price! I will definitely be back for more.

One of the most helpful and friendly staffs I have ever encountered at a Joann's. The manager went above and beyond, calling around to other stores in the area when they didn't have enough of the fabric that I needed at this store so they could reserve it for me to pick up. They are lifesavers. Best Joann's experience I have ever had, thank you so much!

This was the first time shopping in their new and much bigger store. Very nice and well organized. The staff was eager to help me find whatever I needed. And there is no store that can match Joann's inventory of fabrics. It was like walking through a forest of fabric bolts. They also had a great selection of fall and Halloween items, as well as yarn.But be prepared for emptying your wallet because the prices were staggering. They had a lot of 40-70% off items, but even with the discount their prices were too high for me.

I like the new store a lot. The new store has a much wider variety of apparel fabrics, when the old store barely had any. There are a lot of sales going on, and you just have to browse the racks. The store has a lot more inventory now, which can make it overwhelming. The staff are very nice. It was super crowded on the Saturday I went, so I recommend going during a non-peak time so you can browse in peace rather than worrying about smashing your cart into another person's cart.

I always have and always will love this place. I'm an Etsy business owner and I buy a majority of my fabric from this place. I recently discovered that joann+ is bulk pricing! And I don't just mean like a measly 10% off, I mean I'm cutting my materials expenses in half! I wish I would have seen that earlier. They will have my continued business for a very long time!

I was shopping for fabric. After I made my selectionAnd went to have it cut I was told I needed to enter my name so I would be in line. I did there were 2 names before me. While I waited the first customer was helped, the employee started straightening up the area then left. The next person was helped by someone else. After that Customer just helped that employees left. And I sat and watched all three names to still sit on the board. I finally had to go to the cutting counter and ask the person who had been standing there folding fabric the whole time for someone to come and cut my fabric. They were probably a total of 10 people in the entire store and half of them were employees. I don’t know what was going on that day. All I have to say is customer service stinks at the Joann fabric in Bloomington Illinois.

Went to the New Joann Fabrics and oh my gosh, I was amazed at how much bigger the new place is and how much more items they carry and they have an area where kids can sit and color. And they have a way much better selection of Crafts to pick from, including Yarns!! I recommend going if you need fabric, yarns, Christmas items, or stuff for anything else. The New Joann Fabrics is located in the Old Toys R Us building in Bloomington, Illinois and The New Texas Roadhouse is across from Joann Fabrics.

Went into the store with my daughter because she wanted to make a blanket for my wife for Christmas. We were unsure of measurements and how much we needed. The associate Travis who helped us was extremely rude, sarcastic, and smirked when we stated the wrong measurements. Neither of us have done anything like this before. It was a terrible experience for my daughter who was already unsure of herself with this process. Everyone else was nice that we dealt with, but I’m not sure I want to shop at this location again.

Great place for craft supplies. Only reason I didnt give a 5 star is because while selection is vast quantity was not which is important for hobbyist. We like to stockpile.

Many of the staff are VERY knowledgable and they are all very helpful. I have always found whatever I was looking for. They can be a bit pricey compared to big box retailers, but they have a larger selection and their app offers coupons or you can shop their sales. If you can wait that long. Lol!

The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately as far as a Joann Fabrics store, this one is small. They try to put as much merchandise as possible into the store thereby the aisles are all narrow. I use the store mainly for yarn purchases. Hobby Lobby and Michael's in town have better yarn selections, Joann often has good yarn sales.

Aisles are a bit close together, so don't try to pass. The staff is extremely helpful. They also made sure we had the right discount at checkout to get us the best deal.

New location where Toys R Us used to be is bigger and has more lighting. Store looks great! Cashier asked for a charitable donation at check-out, which I politely refused to donate. Most employees don't even know the charity they are raising money for CEO's or COO's first / middle/ last names- yet the employees are raising money for these organizations, all while earning minimum wage, LOL!!! Staff, you're puppets. You're getting played.

If you are looking for the basics in crafting, this is your store. It is one of the smallest Joann's I have been in, so item selection is small. The fabric section is still pretty big for as small as this store is. There are always coupons on the app if you are looking for a discount.

One of my favorite places to go, make sure to sign up and get their coupons, really helps you save, big selection of fabrics and many other items. A large selection I've more than material, many other crafting items also for cooking and crafting crocheting and the list goes on, staff is very helpful.

The new store is nice but seems to have limited the type and amount of crafting supplies they carry. I would like to see more papercrafting supplies especially Tim Holtz products.

I am not very happy with the fabric they DON'T have. Every time I go there looking for a particular fabric, they do not have it. I do not like to drive an hour there, an hour back home and not have what I am looking for. They do have alot of fabric, tho. I have been there four times and very disappointed.This time I called asking for a certain type of design. Guess what? Not in stock. What a surprise.

This is a large store with a great selection of items for various hobby and crafting interests. The people who work here are helpful and the layout makes it easy to find things even if you're not sure where to go. It seems like a popular place!

Love,Love,Love, JOANN Fabrics! I Love doing DIY Decor and crafting! They have Great Products for All occasions and Seasons! It's a crafters Heaven! They have Great Sales and Great Coupons, sometimes you can find 50% off coupons online or even in the news paper, that's when I like to make my big purchases! My youngest daughter recently told me, one of her favorite childhood memories, was of us painting wooden bird houses together!

If I could give a negative rating, I would. I just witnessed the most appalling customer service ever. The gentleman in front of me was waiting to pick up an item that was on hold. The sales associate informed him that someone had already sold it but if he came back tomorrow, they might have another one. The customer informed the associate that he had just driven 2 1/2 hours to get the item. Never heard the associate apologize for the inconvenience but he did tell the customer that he could give him the numbers of other JOANN FABRICS he could call. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They messed up and offered no real help to the poor guy. This place really needs to up their customer service game or they will be out of business.

I always enjoy going to Joann Fabrics in Bloomington, IL. Especially around the different holidays throughout the year! They have a ton of fleece to choose from. When they have sales that have door busters, the savings can be great!!! If you get signed up for the coupons, you can really save with those too. Staff is always helpful!
