The man giving the fish samples today was probably the best customer service I've ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond and he sold me on several kinds of fish. I wish I remembered his name.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have always loved the selection at HyVee and have been a frequent shopper for years both personally and professionally using HyVee for my job.However, HyVee Catering should not even be able to call themselves a catering business. HyVee Catered my wedding rehearsal dinner with a taco bar and did not bring the shells or chips, leaving us to scramble and buy random bags of chips at a gas station. They also were supposed to make an orange and blue cookie cake but instead changed the colors to blue and yellow without approval.Then fast forward to our wedding day, HyVee Catering did our wedding cake. We ordered a small 2 tier RED VELVET cake. To our surprise when we cut into it was vanilla with raspberry filling - my fiancé hates raspberries.So thank you HyVee for completely failing - you have lost a biweekly customer for life and will I will not be shopping at your store for life as well as you lost respect from our guests.

Use to work there, you guys have a serious problem with not being able to maintain control of your employees behavior. As an employee I once personally had to stop my shift lead from committing an act of racist behavior towards customers. And in response to me doing that you guys actually called me in for a meeting because you thought I had done something wrong. You’re all completely worthless and terrible at your jobs. Make sure you pass that message along to Nick and all of HR. You’re all completely incapable of providing a workspace that feels safe and treats the community with respect and you deserve to lose your jobs and be thrown out on the street.Edit/Response: Absolutely not. Get in contact with the Bloomington store and talk to Nick the store lead, Jen my old manager, and Carrie the head of HR and and Kevin the manager of the Fast and Fresh and ask them all what happened. And then you can talk to Jason in the W&S department for a character reference f you have to cause I used to work in 3 different departments for you guys at a time. I don’t work for you anymore because you’re completely worthless and incapable of doing your jobs correctly so learn how to do them yourselves and reach out to people who are actually EMPLOYED with your company to resolve these issues. Good day and screw off

This store displaced our nice specialty grocery stores when it came to town ,when it opened it had great selection and service. since it opened a couple years ago it has gone down hill incredibly. now it is just like any other grocery store and our town is worse off because of it. a huge shame

Great grocery store that has most anything you need for your grocery needs. They have a nice selection of meats, deli, bakery, floral and pharmacy. There is also a Starbucks inside and Wahlburgers restaurant attached. Nice employees, who are always helpful. Plenty of parking and conveniently located just off Veterans Parkway.

Went with a friend who did some shopping.I just looked around.Nice store, great variety, though everyday items seemed a bit pricey.We each had the $10 meal deal at Walbergers for lunch, which we both thought was very good. 🍔

Absolutely lovely store, clean, organized. Even better staff, so polite ans professional. Would have given it 5 stars but the stare down my sister, niece and I got from the store officer literally for no reason at all. From the time we reached the counter ( didn't even see him there until we appeared) until the time we made it outside, he was so rude. He didn't speak just stared, no smile, hello, nod. It was very uncomfortable and rude and made us feel unwanted even though we spent our hard earned money there. We will be back though. Just hope we could maybe get a smile as we're being closely watched

Great meat and deli counters. Good service too - helpful employees and never a line to check out. Only issue is that you do pay a bit more for the selection.

I first went to this store about a month ago with my sister. It is large, immaculate, and has so many different products. I am only giving 4 stars because of prices.I definitely would recommend coming here for their fresh made in house foods, but maybe not everyday shopping. If you're ok with the higher prices, that's OK too. Not a bad place. Thanks!

The store is always busy which means it's probably a decent place. I give it 4 stars because both the aisles and parking are tight. I can almost always find what I need. Staff is very helpful. 5 stars to them.

Went to Hyvee all the time for the past almost ten years, even when we lived in a different state, loved it. Went to the local Hyvee at 5:30pm today, there were out of 85/15 hamburger. In the last three out of four times we have gone to buy hamburger they were out of the 85/15. Plenty of expensive lean hamburger to buy. Tried to file a complaint by phone with the local Bloomington IL store but had a terrible connection and "didn't work in the meat department so don't know why, don't know what the process is to file a complaint". This used to be the Walmart business model. Will go to other stores to buy meat and groceries.

Honestly used to love getting sushi here, but after today I think I'm done. The rice is always so dry and gross. Feels like they let it sit all night before serving. I can barely get 1 unedible roll for 10 dollars here. LaBamba sushi which is like 3 rolls for 13 is ten times better value not only price, but taste wise. Think I have even had better from Krogers deli. Get it together and quit ripping people off!

Was visiting my children and my daughter brought me here, it was amazing, check out their bread bakery section!! Awesome walniut/ raisin bread, and their semolina bread was served w Thanksgiving dinner. Delicious. When I'm in area again, I will visit. After winter, lol, way tooo cold there (from Florida)!

Every time we come this way we love to shop at hy-vee. Wish we had some of these stores locally by us they are so cool. We used to come when they had the salad bar we missed that it's still a great place so many great items to choose from and very clean

Sale prices don't match the price in the system. Butter was on sale this weekend for $2.98, but at check out it's $3.68 even after using my hy-vee card. They knew it was wrong on Friday and did nothing about it. So anyone that bought hy-vee brand butter this weekend, you got ripped off. I knew better than to trust them so I didn't over pay.

Very clean store, highly knowledgeable staff. Great place to get buckets of chicken, pre-cooked meals, sliced cheeses and meats. I'm from Florida so it was fantastic to see liquor in the store and not just in a liquor store.Only downside I have is that the floors are a shiny cement. I believe if it was white it would be more appeasing.

Amazing sales, very pleasant market store, staff always very helpful and super friendly. You can find all Natural foods, fresh vegetables fruits, the bakery carry anything your taste desire, you name it the have it including ready to go yummy foods and also has a restaurant in there.

Fresh salmon, fresh shrimp . Fresh everything! The fish dept is really helpful. The bakery dept is good for donuts and bread 🍞. This store has alot of what you're looking for.

Not familiar with the layout of this very large store, and wanting a special "hard to find" item, I went to the customer service desk to ask for directions.A young man named "Tristan" told me that not only does the store have my item, but they have two brands to choose from, and he doesn't merely give me directions, he walks there with me.It's a huge store, super clean and bright, fast check-out, miles of parking.If I lived within an hour of that location, I doubt I'd ever set foot in any other grocery store!

It's the best grocery store bakery ever. The sourdough bread is exceptional! I love the cranberry walnut bread as well. The brownies and cookies are all so good. I love this store. Very clean and has loads of great food options. The bakery is worth the car ride. Items are made fresh at the store.

HyVee is such a great place to shop for a wide variety of produce and grocery items. I especially love shopping from their meat and cheese departments. There brats and brat burgers are top notch. The bakery department is awesome but can start to add up .

Great store. We're from Champaign and do not this type of quality in our grocery stores. HyVee we need one down here.
