Customer service is the primary driver for my purchasing decisions, and it can be difficult to find quality service at retail. Thankfully, Flooring Depot still values its customers and it shows.The experiences I had in competitors' showrooms and in the big box stores were the complete opposite of my experiences at Flooring Depot. Bethany is GREAT! She is very knowledgable and patient and she makes the process of exploring flooring options easy.While costs can fluctuate retailer-to-retailer, the respect and kindness that the Flooring Depot team shows at every turn does not carry a price tag. I highly recommend making it your first stop!!

Rob and his crew were easy to work with. We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted to do but he showed us different options and we could tell right away we wanted to work with Flooring Depot. I can always count on Flooring Depot for a great product at the best price. Bethany's customer service is top notch! She's knowledgeable and helped me find the right products to meet my needs and budget. She took time to listen and make recommendations that fit my style and preferences. She's very prompt and responsive throughout the process - from providing pricing quotes and getting samples, to ordering the products and seeing them through to delivery and installation. Bethany was there every step of the way through my two bathroom remodel projects and replacing my worn-out carpet. I appreciated her patience with my inability to make a decision 😉 and her enthusiasm when I showed her pictures of the finished projects! 🙂

Bethany is excellent! A kind and patient manager/consultant with great perspective and design knowledge throughout this process. It’s a big deal for a homeowner. She offered insight from selecting color, to performance and style; understanding our needs and helping us along the way! Our carpet layers were professional and efficient. The color and texture is wonderful, it feels like we’re walking on clouds with the high performance pad and Pet Perfect indeed! Thankful for Bethany and Flooring Depot for such value at a price we could afford. Look forward to when we can tackle some other areas.

Such a wonderful experience working with Flooring Depot! The first time my husband and I walked in "just to look", Bethany was soooo helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the different flooring products and helped us figure out what was best for our family. I get easily overwhelmed by making big decisions like this (and then add the craziness of the holidays on top of that). Bethany was very patient with me. I never felt pushed or rushed. Just fully supported. I cannot recommend Bethany more! The carpets went in today and I LOVE THEM!

After spending $4000 with this business in December of 2021 I returned for a carpet remnant that I wanted sewed into a hallway runner. And even though Phil, the salesperson, gave me poor service.....seldom called me when he was supposed to.....I was happy with the carpet purchased in 2021. This time I looked for a different salesperson....Bethany an assistant manager.....and she helped pick out a remnant for my purpose. After many call ins for picking up the completed runner Rob, the manager, got involved and apologized for the runner not being sewed and offered the next day for pick up. As I returned the next day the runner was rolled up and Rob said it was ready. When I took it home and unrolled it the seams were easily seen and not acceptable. I immediately returned the runner to Bethany and she stated "the remnant I picked out was builders quality and not really suited for a runner". She agreed the person sewing the seam did a very poor job but also laid the blame on me for picking out a bad remnant. Remember she helped/guided me to this remnant mainly because it matched my flooring. She said nothing about it not being an acceptable carpet for sewing. After a day or two she refunded my money. But I was still out $134 due to the binding that was added by an outside vendor AFTER the seams were sewn. That she would not refund. I was out money and a ton of time. Then Bethany offered to sell me a different remnant at an inflated price (she had priced me this same carpet when selling me the "builders quality carpet") to make back the profit Flooring Depot lost in the first transaction!I said absolutely NO. After all this time......5 weeks....I still don't have a runner for my hallway.Just the worst service you could imagine by Flooring Depot.

The installers were very friendly, courteous and professional and it was obvious they took a lot of pride in their work – we had previously painted all of the baseboards and they did a great job tearing them off and replacing them with minimal damage. The carpet and vinyl both look fantastic! A big shout-out to Phil for helping us make these selections and steering us towards the right level of quality for the property.And – HUGE appreciation for juggling installation schedules to ensure our floors were completed in time for new furniture to be delivered!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rob Connor of Flooring Depot and he went above and beyond to assist with my flooring needs.From the start, Rob was welcoming, professional, and knowledgable. Learning about the various options was daunting and understanding costs was a bit of a reality check for me, but Rob was consistently patient, friendly and quick to return to my calls. He helped guide me toward a decision and I didn’t feel a hint of pressure.It’s also worth noting that the staff that did the carpet removal and tile installation were great. I appreciated that they were prompt, courteous and efficient.Kudos to Rob for his conscientious, customer focused approach. When the time comes for me to update flooring in a few rooms, I will gladly contact Rob and look forward to working with him and the Flooring Depot team again.

The whole experience with Kenzie and Flooring Depot was top notch. As a landlord I have purchased a lot of carpet in the past and can't be more pleased. I asked for a specific date for installation thinking that would never happen. It did. Installers showed up at 7:15 am, didn't take a break for lunch and were done by 3:30 pm. They cleaned up everything as well.

The assistant manager, Bethany, is only interested in appearing right instead of doing right and treating the customer well. Initially I had a good experience until Bethany, the assistant manager, ordered the incorrect floor color. I didn't realize the floor was wrong until it had been partially installed. Bethany refused to admit her mistake, became very defensive, and tried to convince me that I made a different choice. The floor that was installed wasn't even one of the samples I took home, in spite of what she claims her records say. She refused to give me a copy of the receipt in the first place since we had a third party installer. Flooring Depot refused to help in any way because they refused to admit they made a mistake. I encourage you to look elsewhere for flooring.

What a pleasant experience! We had to replace floor coverings in our basement due to flood damage. We had never bought carpeting or any other floor material. Went to several places but came back to Flooring Depot after others failed to inspire us from their lack of enthusiasm. Phil Larrieu patiently and expertly explained the pros and cons and different grades of materials. When the first proposal turned out too expensive because of our floor conditions, he found an even more cost effective solution. Our basement now looks better than before. Walked into this location to find some flooring that matched out other floors in the house due to basement flooding. There were 3 employees working. None of them offered to help us until we had walked around the store multiple times. The guy who did finally help us was nice but he said he was busy with a few other customers who were sitting with another employee being helped-he said they had a big order. It didn't seem like they wanted our business at all.

We had the majority of our first floor replaced with flooring from Flooring Depot. We visited the store multiple times for samples, and to ask questions as we had never replaced flooring before, and certainly not on this scale. On each visit it always seemed as though the sales staff had something better to do, be it surfing the web, leaving for the day, or socializing. While they did get the job done in the end they were never fully invested in our project. The manager Rob was attentive and helpful throughout his interactions with our contractor. The product we received is of excellent quality and looks very good. However, the subcontractor which Flooring Depot chose for installation made quite a few mistakes requiring multiple return trips by our contractor and others to correct, and whom also allowed an employee of his to enter our house unattended knowing he had a criminal record. Directly after this unattended visit a tablet, charger, and two XBox Games were missing and never recovered. I will not be utilizing the services of Flooring Depot, or the subcontractor they employed again.

I needed flooring for my 3 seasons room. Amy helped me find the right flooring that can withstand the elements and cold winter temperatures. She explained which vinyl flooring would work best for the room and why. I'm very happy with the service and price of the flooring. I'll definitely return when I need other areas of the house done.

The entire process has been horrific. To save money, we decided to remove our own carpet. Three days before our scheduled install, they called to say they may not have an installer. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if I didn't book grooming for my dogs to help the installer and save the dogs from added stress. They also never confirmed when the install would happen. If I didn't call them, I'd never know. Spend elsewhere.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. Terribly bad customer service. There installation prices are much higher than other Bloomington businesses. My wife and I visited October 27th, it was not busy, but for some reason took some time for someone to great us. Once greeted unfortunately we were met with someone less than enthusiastic to be employed here. And there is a guy that seems to wonder aimlessly until he sits at a desk but never talks to anyone. Even with customers walking the floor. We know this because we waited an exorbitant amount of time for a simple small area quote. We took three samples. We returned one week later to drop the samples off and schedule an install. When we entered the store we waited and wondered FOR OVER 10 MINUTES. And we were never greeted, ever. The same wondering guy was there wondering the floor but never said a word. Walked past us , sat at his desk ... never a word. Our original sales girl was there and was with a customer but never looked up or said hello. After 15 minutes and no interaction I asked if I could leave the samples. She said yes. And I said thank you and began to walk away. My wife asked if she needed our names and she decided that would be good to get. I gave her the name she said thank you and we walked away. No one ever tried to ask if we wanted to order or even said hello . This place is terrible. We went somewhere else and got installation for 66% less. And a better product for less!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.

Okay the front desk was amazing. To be honest I didn't even come for flooring I was soaked after hours of biking and trying to get to the Normal Amtrak station. My phone was broken so I wasn't sure of the directions, but with their help, I got there very quickly. Seriously, I can't thank the two women that thanked me enough.
