We stayed a night while in town. The staff was super nice. They got my message about needing an accessible room and made sure to have one ready. Room was clean. We checked it out thoroughly and it was very clean. Lots of outlets and USB outlets next to the bed which was rare and really nice. The remote worked the air conditioner and the automatic window shades. The room has a mini fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast wasn't bad for a free hotel one! Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hot waffles you make yourself, cereal, bagels, toast, juice and coffee .....the food area was clean and well stocked. I would definitely go there again

• Patient and considerate front desk staff and diligent house-keeping staff. Everyone is eager to help. Staff was flexible and accommodated my rapidly changing schedule and made sure I was able to extend/shorten my stay as needed.• Very quiet and comfortable except for the occasional overhead jet from the nearby airport.• The breakfast is an added bonus which was wonderful in the morning - nothing mind blowing but overall good food with plenty of options. Countless excellent food options within 5 minutes driving.• The pool was another added benefit. I didn't use it but I had friends who did.• Clean and well kept. Hot showers and comfortable beds. Not much more you can ask for! Thank you Country Inn!

This is a nice cozy hotel. Very friendly front desk service. They will even pick you up from the airport and take you there if you schedule in advance. They have free Wi-Fi, a gym, pool and free continental breakfast.The rooms are modern and clean. There are two shades on the window, and when you pull down the back one it completely blacks out the room which was really nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

We checked into room #232 that smelled of mold the night before. Mold was creviced into the windows, the air vents, and the fridge smelled of it as well. It is obvious that the original fridge that smells has not been attended to, and rather than maintaining it, they keep stacking new fridges into the room.Called the front desk to explain the issue, and he said there were no rooms available to switch us to, so there's nothing he could do except offer us "air-fresheners".Here's the sensible thing that should have been done: contact a sister hotel in the area, and see if they had rooms available to accommodate us. Breathing in mold all night long is a serious health concern, as you would know. Mold is no joke, but that is how this hotel takes it.UPDATE: General Manager had just attempted to bribe us by offering a free room if these reviews are removed. Classic.McLean County Health Department has been contacted already.

My fiance booked a room for myself and our two daughters on 4/9/24-4/10/24. Upon entering room #232, we quickly noticed the overall lack of cleanliness in the room. Most apparent was the fact that there were 3 refrigerators, two of which did not work, and reeked of mold and mildew. Upon further investigation, we found that the air conditioning did not work, and upon turning it on, a much stronger and more foul smell of mold began to fill the room. We found mold on the windowsills, air vents, bathroom exhaust fan, and inside the refrigerators. We went to open a window to allow some fresh air into the room, but then realized the screen window was also missing, which allowed bugs to begin flying into the room. There were also ants crawling up the door frame to the HVAC closet, and appeared to be coming from underneath the carpet.We immediately contacted the front desk to inform them of the situation, and were offered no help, other than "air fresheners." There was no attempt made to locate another hotel for us to stay in, we were informed that all rooms at this hotel were booked, not even an offer to come and clean the room or offer us a discount was made. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the door to the HVAC closet was not locked, and when opening it, we found the walls and floor covered in even more mold, and it became apparent that general maintenance and cleaning were not being done. Also found was the caulking around the bathtub in disrepair, a rusty and half plugged up shower head, and a toilet that was not even securely fastened to the floor.The morning of checkout, we skipped breakfast, as the eggs looked to be rubberized, and the overall cleanliness of the dining area was subpar, and the kitchen appeared to be composed of a microwave and countertop, nothing more. Approximately 2.5 hours after leaving, my fiancé received a call from Prasad Patel, the general manager, and during this call he attempted to bribe her with a free stay, under the condition that our daughters removed their reviews of our stay, and he also yelled at her when she confronted him about this. Until my fiancé refused his bribery, he appeared to act polite and nice, but after she said "how dare you bribe me like that" he turned into a rude, inconsiderate, jerk, and continued to yell at her, especially when she said that these reviews will not be removed because doing so would put other customer's health at risk as well, however he was not able to say much afterwards as she hung up on him.A few minutes before writing this review, I called Prasad Patel myself, and during this phone call, he lied to me, stating he never asked my fiancé to remove the reviews, said that it was illegal for someone who didn't stay there to leave a review, even though it was our two DAUGHTERS who stayed there with myself that left reviews. He continued to call her a liar, and even admitted that the room we were rented was listed as "out of service" due to the air conditioning not working, yet for some reason the "system" wasn't working properly, which caused us to end up in this room. During our entire conversation, he was extremely rude, talked over me constantly, began raising his voice with me, and the worry was obvious in his voice when he said "this will get me into trouble."I ended our conversation by asking for the contact information for the Regional Manager, Hotel Owner, or someone above him, to which he replied "I was told to handle things myself" and he refused to give me any contact information whatsoever. I left him my name and phone number, and specifically asked him several times to contact someone higher up, and return his findings to me, as I would like to know what resolution to expect from this. My family and I will not be bribed, will not be silenced, and will do what we can to ensure others are not exposed to such a dirty, disgusting, unhealthy place such as this. I do hope that either Prasad Pratel, or someone above him will not only reply to this review, but contact me personally to resolve this horrible experience.

I recently stayed in a newly renovated room at this motel and I was thoroughly impressed. The room was impeccably clean and had a modern, stylish design that made me feel right at home. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were fresh and soft. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had excellent water pressure. The room also had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay.

Room was decent and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good. Pool was filthy, water not clear and debris floating all over. Very thin walls and stains all over carpets and trash on floor in hallways. Loud music was playing all night, teenagers were running up and down the halls most of the night and some little kid kept knocking on our door making it next to impossible to sleep.The staff however was great and very kind. Good location near restaurants, shopping and the airport! Shuttle service available to the airport.I think with some deep cleaning, pool maintenance and maybe enforced quiet hours after a certain time this place could get 5 stars!

Pros: I appreciated that they let me check in early although I had to call at least 3 times as I kept getting passed off. The hotel is close to stores, restaurants, and the regional airport so it has a convenient location. Friendly staff also. The room itself is decent size.Cons: shortly after checking in, I noticed that one of the bedside lamps did not have a light bulb and I advised the front desk and was told it would be taken care of, which it never was. The pool is small and the pool room is very echoey so if there was kids there splashing and screaming at the same time, it is not enjoyable lol.

The hotel was under renovation. I was not told this when I reserved a block of 10 rooms for my family. Many things in the various rooms didn’t work- outlets, refrigerators, no plug for a bathtub, and the pool was open but had so much chlorine in it, the water was cloudy and sitting in the area made your eyes burn. Very disappointing.

I booked 4 days here, the owner of the company came knocking out my door aggressive and when I answered he told me I was smoking in the room and that guest have been complaining. Not once did I smoke in the room, I asked the owner am I going to be charged $250 and he said "no cause you didn't smoke in the room"... I was kicked out for what reason? Cause I was smoking outside? I spent $500+ to stay here and i get treated like this cause i was doing something legal? I will never recommend this place to anyone due to the disrespectful owner.Safety: Its not safe to do anything legal.

Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The thermostat in our room didn't work so we called the front desk. Somebody came to look at it but he couldn't figure out the problem either. We were not offered a different room so we just made do and were cold. Good thing it wasn't a really cold night! Breakfast was mediocre but edible. The eggs were watery and the biscuits were hard.

Not a good choice. Paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom and entry. Absolutely no customer service, front desk barely spoke English. They forgot to tell me when reserving, that I had to order shuttle 24 hour in advance. Then when Uber was out of drivers, they refused to crank the darn van up and gift me a ride to a funeral 6 miles away. I'd rather camp then spend money here.

The rooms were nice.The two hot breakfaststhat were served were okay.The only problems that we hadwere the people in the room above ourswho seemed to be using the bedsas trampolines most of the night.Their children must of had funjumping on the beds.And also the young men roaming the hallways late at night yelling bad stuffabout their relationships with other women.I knew that when we saw that charter busparked outside that that might happen.I guess some people just need to realizethat there are other people staying therethat might want it quieterafter 10 p.m. at night.So that they are ableto get a good night's sleep.The staff were nice, though.They were friendly and helpful.😊

The lobby and breakfast room were being renovated, primarily in the evening! The noise and the dust were problematic. The pool was not open. Parts of the "hot" breakfast were not hot at all. Best to call ahead and check on the condition of the place first.
