Buy at your own risk at this store. The manager has no interest in satisfying customers. I paid $180 this morning to access "Geek Squad" support, then spent 8 hours on the phone with them through 5 different sessions to fix the same problem. Each time they ended the session saying they fixed the problem, yet what they described in their closing email had nothing to do with my problem (and in fact they didn't do). Each time I had to call their 1-800 number back or wait to reach an online chat. I drove to the store to explain the situation to the manager in hopes that others would not face the same issue. Instead, the manager said my computers, and I quote, "should not be able to share files between themselves over the home LAN." Someone needs to alert Microsoft that they can't do what they describe how to do, and what happens in every LAN around the world.Anyway, the manager could care less. So buy at your own risk. No one here is concerned about the customer experience.

Adventures in electronics were a positive experience working with Spencer. It's a bummer they got rid of their old Total Tech membership with the free installation this year. We were in it for the long haul with that benefit alone! It was amazing. We still had the plan for a few days and it was a bit of a juggling fest to coordinate what we wanted on the Black Friday deal and some changes over several days. He was committed though and helped us through smoothly and with humor and kept us laughing. We also worked with Sean to consult and get the right equipment. Just a great team. Half the battle is finding the right people and it's a good experience in this store.

I realize that this is a national chain, but the store in Bloomington IL is just outstanding among Best Buy stores. The times I have shopped at this Best Buy, I have always been greeted and intensively helped by the staff. That goes from 1997-2023.I could have and should have stopped to praise the teams and management at this store through a very large span of years, but I guess this is better late than never.My most recent purchase and exchange went incredibly smoothly. The staffer even told me that if things didn't work out, to come back for a refund or exchange and spent a lot of time helping me figure out what I needed in order to have the ideal mesh routers in my home.

Bought a washing machine last week. Sales team was entirely useless, all they did was confuse us more. A kid( didn’t catch his name but his hair looked like an unfortunate bunch of broccoli) came over to “help” our salesman, but all he did was ask us over and over and over and over and over if we wanted to sign up for the Best Buy membership. After saying no the first 3 or 4 times, he kept asking again and again, making him seem super desperate. He only stopped bugging us about the membership AFTER I said we would just not buy the product. Would never buy from here again. Terrible experience. The delivery team was more than pleasant however. I cannot wait to purchase our matching drier straight from your competitor.

The touch screen stopped working withing 15 days of purchase and i had to contact microsoft for a replacement. Because of all this, i lost my offer of 3 years of extended warranty.

The arrangement of the store is... interesting. Went in for a PC monitor and discovered components were scattered throughout - it took a while longer than I had planned to find what I was looking for.

Went in and had a pricing issue with a used computer in stock. Not only did I get the price I wanted, it was actually lower than expected. I don't remember the guy's name at the Geek Squad desk but he was as professional as they come and made sure I got the correct price. I owe him a six pack because I got this blazing fast computer for a song. Could not be happier. I'm using this rig as a flight simulator and who knows maybe one day I'll be able to get my pilots license as a result. Thank you so much. 12/10 good people work here. LET'S GO FLYING!

Generally great, but man their Christmas music selection is bad to the point of being annoying. Bad covers, weird off brand christian rock, and it is turned way up.

I went to BB yesterday bc my phone totally died. I had to wait a little while for a salesperson to wait on me bc they were with other customers, but once the salesperson was available she was very helpful. Migz was able to tell me about various phone models, answer all my questions, and had a wonderful, positive attitude. I was relieved that she was able to transfer my contacts and calendar as well as my photos to my new phone.

Needed a phone case and screen protector. Plenty of staff chatting at the entrance, but zero help or assistance. Over 30 min to find items and check out. Plenty of staff just not helpful.

Zero customer service skills displayed by the same employee I get every time I come to this location. I still have yet to learn his name as he never even attempts to make conversation and never has a name badge on. Rude, ill mannered and never asks for my phone number, so my Total Tech benefits do not get applied to my purchase. I will stop visiting this location as of today and make the drive to Peoria instead.

Would like to rate 3.5. They have been incredibly short staffed recently (not blaming the business for this), so the past two visits I haven’t been able to browse the store. I also picked up an Xbox headset the other day, which was very easy and they quickly came out to my car and handed me my bag. The controller box has a big tear in the front which makes for a disappointing unboxing experience.

I've never had a problem with this store, including dealing with a pricey open box return. Whenever I'm looking around for long, an employee checks to see if they can help. Good job on customer experience. My only criticism is the way peripherals like headsets are scattered all over the store instead of being organized together.

I spent A LOT of money, but I believe I got tremendous value.I purchased a dryer, a beverage cooler, a Ninja coffeemaker, and I purchased a car stereo and remote start for one of my vehicles.The dryer was delivered/installed yesterday, and the cooler is scheduled to be delivered the day we return from a short trip.I guess I'll have more to say when the cooler gets delivered in a few days, and when the stuff gets installed in my vehicle toward the end of the month.

Staffing was light on black Friday weekend. It took a long time to flag someone down to even help. When we did, then the associate walked off... I finally saw another associate to help in the camera section. The associate was very helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. He was able to get what we needed and took it up to the front for us. But the store was pretty scarce employed that day, and merchandise was not on the floor for customers.

Do not bring anything to their Geek Squad. I made an appointment to replace an iPhone XS battery a week in advance only to be told the battery was not in stock. I even came in a few hours early to check only to be completely brushed off.The only useful thing they did was refer me to Normal Gadgets down the street. Do yourself a favor and go there instead.

Great selection of electronics and accessories and definitely the place to go if you're looking for a new TV. Great deals on 4k and HDR for previous year models, we got a 55" 4k HDR Samsung for $499 which in my opinion is a fantastic price. Only downside is that given the amount of employees at the store it could have been easier to get their attention to help us, or take the initiative and offer to help is without being asked, but once we flagged someone down they we're friendly and helpful.

Went to look for a gaming controller and found nothing! I must say I remember them having a huge selection of 3rd party controller for PC but all I saw was a very limited amount of items keyboards, mouses, monitors! That's pretty much it! Mrrr left empty handed!

May 18, 2023 - Stopped here specifically to buy a $400 Canon Rebel T7 Digital Camera. I asked the female employee if she could unlock the cabinet and told her what camera I wanted. The employee said the camera isn't in the cabinet, it's in the back. The employee walked away, came back after a few minutes and told me the digital camera was now up at the register, I can pay for it there. I started walking up to the register, then ultimately decided to buy this camera somewhere else from a company that doesn't presume ill intent or criminal intentions. I walked straight out of the store and left the camera at the register for someone to eventually bring it back to where it was hidden before since customers cannot be trusted. I'll buy the camera from somewhere else for the same exact price.
