Friendly and helpful staff. I hadn't been to a bookstore in years but it was nice to unplug. Browsed some books that I was interested in buying. Had a cup of coffee and a cookie. It was a relaxing Saturday morning in a great bookstore.

Maggie and the male manager on duty on 4/9/24 were wonderful! They helped my husband and I with finding the books he was looking for plus helping me find some new books to read that were on the bogo 50%! I love the expereince and the atmosphere! Thank you!!

This store makes me miss old retail stores so much, as Gen X it is so nice to have a place to go and enjoy living in the old days when you could look, feel, and smell the retail experience of buying something vs internet buying...

It's a place to get out of the seasonal cold, heat, and humidity for a while. No one will ask you to leave unless you're being disruptive.Sales associates constantly ask customers to become Barnes and Noble members. Be aware that annual renewals are automatic. I didn't know it until I checked my bank account recently and saw a $25 Barnes and Noble renewal fee which I had to call to cancel and get my money back.You really don't get many discounts unless you constantly are shopping at the bookstore. The membership costs $25 but in the last year, I only saved $4 because I shopped at Barnes and Noble twice. You ONLY save money IF you spend money.Even the coupons Barnes and Noble e-mails its members are set up to have you spend money before you get savings:"Buy 1 coffee, get a 2nd coffee free""Buy 1 kid's book, get a 2nd kid's book half off"Folks, support your local library- it's FREE

I had asked a book be set aside for purchase later in the day. When I asked the bookseller for the book, it was where it was supposed to be. Simple, efficient, correct. Could not ask for more.

They were advertising a child's talking and learning cash register for $34.99. I reserved one online, and when i went to pick it up, it was not the talking one. It was one that just made beeping noises. They didn't even have the one they were advertising

I could spend an entire day there. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for reading a book on a comfy chair.

Great atmosphere. The new organization of the kids area is great.The cafe is mediocre and has starbucks signs and products, but takes nothing Starbucks related, including gift cards and app.

There is a young man that works here, that hides books he doesn’t like. When you find the book he has hidden, he will literally throw the receipt at you when you buy the book. It’s very sad that the youth in this country are so soft minded that they fear ideas against their own. But what’s even more crazy than that, is they are disturbed enough to voice their opinions while representing a business. I genuinely hope this young man some day realizes that not every idea he was given by his Marxist professor in school was correct. Until that day though, I’ll probably be spending my money at a different book store, maybe Amazon? They don’t have employees that throw things at you.

I love being able to go into a good book store; B&N is usually that. Recently, though, they haven't been able to fulfill several fairly easy requests in-store. The stock is hit or miss. They're always willing to order for me, but I can do that from home.

Always find so much awesome stuff when I come here! Right now I’m stuck on all the adult Lego sets they have out. My last trip I acquired a beautiful hard cover Louis Vuitton travel book. Quite the edition to my collection! 📖📚📙

Good selection, attractive displays, friendly and courteous staff. My only complaint is that they were short-staffed. There was only one person at the cafe, which meant people had to wait several minutes to place their order, and several more minutes to receive their order. There were two checkout clerks which wasn't as bad.

The whole family enjoys going! I can always find a book, if not order it!! Love the Harry Potter section as a family! Kid's really enjoy the book area for them! Toy's and games! Even a coffee area! Great place to go! Not super expensive!!!

I was really hoping that this Barnes and Noble would be a little more supportive of local authors such as myself. Maybe they are supportive to other local authors, maybe it's because it's my first published book and i don't have much recognition? They do sell my new Children's Book "Carlee The Princess Dragon" on the Barnes and Noble website. It is just disappointing not to see it on the shelves of the local Barnes where I grew up. All of my family and friends want to go there to experience the excitement of seeing on the book shelf and purchasing my book here. It is a little sad to know that it's not at this Barnes and Noble when it is in other B&N stores in different states. I guess maybe it's a corporate thing. I still love Barnes and Noble, I'm just a little disappointed. Keep on reading to your kiddos and buy my children's book "Carlee the Princess Dragon" on the Barnes and Noble website to read to them.

This dinosaur is still our favorite place to find books at mostly reasonable prices. Sure its had to change with the times to keep up with Amazon but who hasn't. We love to visit the cafe for a snack and a Starbucks before browsing the books. I love to be able to get my hands on a book and check it out before having to buy. This place still has the best selection of books in the twin cities. My daughter can spend a couple hours reading in the kids section. Their is generally something for everyone and I always check out the clearance aisles. Members also have perks like decent discounts on books and free shipping on orders. It's become my family's favorite book club.

It's the last of the big-box bookstores and there aren't really any small, independents here. In-store shopping here is pleasant and much more of an experience than online shopping. Leafing through books, whether for adults or children can't be duplicated electronically. It just can't.
