AB Hatchery is my favorite local garden shop. I was new to gardening and landscaping so everytime I came in, I had lots of questions. The staff were so kind and knowledgeable. They helped me work through what types of soil to get, how much I needed for my space, and what plants would be best. A great place to get pretty much anything you need for your garden or lawn!

I love A B Hatchery! But i had a bad experience with the sales clerk, Uuna i believe her name is. She is very unfriendly and will not get up to help customers. She just checks u out .never welcomes you . Does not know the products and has been there for over 5 years . When i asked her help with grass sheed she just call another employee away from what he was doing . When she got 2 customers she called for help! I had to ask her for a bag for plants .she acted like it was a big ask ! I sure hope they do something about her . She should not be in customer

Super awesome staff! As a delivery driver I showed up with over 100 items for their inventory. They informed me that they were short staffed that day. Two guys offloaded the inventory by themselves and didn't complain once. They returned my paperwork signed and with a smile! Bravo! Keep up the great work!

Really good place to go when you are in need of supplies whether it be for the grass that's on your land or garden around your home to the many different varieties you could have inside. Definitely recommend place to go

Absolutely fantastic place to get plants and soil!!The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. They even helped bring stuff to my car. Truly cannot find a better place to get beautiful plants. also, if you have a dog, they have all kinds of toys and foods and wonderful things for them. As well as several food for birds and squirrels as well. An all-around fantastic store.

I visit regularly for pet food and treats and their prices are fair and selection is good. I also enjoy their seeds and starter plants in the spring. They have a decent variety of types of tools, but not a lot of options for any one type, so if you have a brand preference or want to compare options you might be better off at a big-box or online. Overall they more than fulfill my needs.

This is a store that allows one to step into all the good things of times past, specifically 80 years ago to 1939, the year AB Hatchery was established. Absolutely splendid help and service, even carrying big bags out to the car for you. Their recommendations are always spot on. It's a place to find seeds, seedlings, fertilizers and herbicides. A dog friendly establishment, there is a huge variety of quality foods, supplements, feeders and toys for dogs, cats and birds, indoor and wild. There's much more than I can list. Once you've visited AB Hatchery and become acquainted with their knowledgeable staff and all the interestingly unique items they offer, you will return.

A new plant nursery discovery. While not nearly as boss as some of the others locally, I found a nice mix of annuals and perennials that I didn't find elsewhere. The store also has a great selection of dog and cat food and treats. Local flavor that I really enjoy.

We always get our Christmas trees from A B Hatchery. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and not just about Christmas trees. I've gotten their help with flowers for my garden as well. They also have a great selection of stuff for dogs. Dogs are welcome in the store!

Localest of the local.....great plants and hanging baskets....succulent selection last summer was fantastic- super healthy plants. We buy our pet food there all year long...and they have a system but 10 bags, get one free...and they keep track of it for you! Woot!

I often shop here for my dog. She eats taste of the wild, and they are the only place I've seen that carries it other than amazon. The prices are reasonable and there's all sorts of treats for your pets!

A&B Hatchery is great. They have a wide variety of things dog food, bird food, flowers , corn for squirrels and great dog treats. Those are just a few of the things they carry. I bought corn for.my squirrel buddies at another place. It was way more expensive, the cobs were small and it was hit and miss how much corn was actually on the cob. At A&B the cobs are large and full of corn kernels. You get so much more for your money. I reccomend you go there and check it out!

This is a good place to get to know. One example is that they carry chicken grit. The course chicken grit is fine gravel. You can put it in a container and sprinkle it on the ground when your wheels are spinning in the snow. Instant traction. Comes in 50 lb bags. About $8 and worth its weight in gold. Check out their other items as well

A B Hatchery has a good selection of dog food for our service dogs. They also have pest control solutions that have been helpful for us. They have great customer service and are willing to help us evaluate a variety of options for animals, plants, and pests.

Much better quality bird seed than 90% of the other places at a relatively reasonable price keeps me coming back every 2 weeks! Their cracked corn is much finer than what you find at the feed stores and the only brand my ducks and guineas will eat.
