I took my puppy to see Ashley C. to be groomed for the very first time and she did a great job. All the staff at that location is very friendly, nice and knowledgeable . I would recommend the Bloomingdale location to anyone who is looking for grooming needs for their pet as the people are very nice and friendly even the staff throughout the store.

Brought my dog in to be groomed. The groomer cut the tip of my dogs ear off. When I picked up my dog, I overheard one of the groomers say “wait she did it again”. I’m sorry but this groomer has done this more than once?!?! The groomer’s name was Nicki.

don’t bother paying for any upgrades with your grooming services, they will just do a basic wash and cut regardless. My dogs ears were lopsided and his cut is choppy. the new groomers are rude. I recommend choosing anywhere else to groom your dog.

Awesome place has a friendly staff of veterans and accessories... Been taking the cat at this location for decade and half! Only draw back they don't have grooming for cats at this location. Update... now they have cat grooming at this location...

I go here for crickets, they always have a good stock of large and small crickets, large and small meal worms, fruit flies, isopods, and springtails. They also have a decent selection of reptiles and snakes but rarely have arachnids.

Besides you could find some dead fish sometimes and their tanks, you can have better luck buying fish and snails here. I'm happy with my red guppy from PetSmart, very lucky and hardy.

I need to brag about a certain groomer who's only at this location. Ashley C. is the BEST groomer!!! I have a Siberian Husky and everytime I bring her to see (her Ashley) she gets really excited from the time we leave the house until she sees her. You know if your dog is crazy about someone you know for sure that that person is an animal lover, and that they will take very good care of your fur baby. We've been to other groomers in the very beginning when Mina was a puppy and they acted like they don't care about their job and what they do, also your pet tells you that they didn't have a good experience. So the third times a charm, we got so lucky when we got Ashley to groom my puppy. And you can only find Ashley C. at Bloomingdale PetsMart. We won't go anywhere else. 💞💞💞The more we bring Mina to see Ashley C. the closer they become. The bond that started over 8 years ago is more evident everytime Mina sees Ashley. We know we are leaving our precious, most beloved family member in capable hands.💚💚

Cashier was very nice but the person who got crickets for me didn’t even acknowledge me or say hello. Working in retail previously I always made sure the customer was greeted and heard. Maybe this worker had a bad day? It just left me with a bad impression coming in this store for the first time. He had glasses and gingerish hair.

Kristy has a terrible attitude. i spoke with her in store and over the phone and both times she immediately came at me with attitude. please understand that when people ask you questions, its cause they are looking for help, not to be spoken down to. i didnt know how getting my cats vet prescription food really worked and ill definitely never be getting it thru you guys again but the way she spoke to me was just awful. i told her on my phone convo w her as well she needs to learn customer service, she said thanks for the feedback and hopefully she really takes it in because whata sourpuss. get a different job if u dont like working with people

I am not a complainer but there is a cashier that likes to give me a hard time every single time I go to buy the prescription food for my dog. I have the vet script for her food which I have used so many times at the same store with no issues but when she is at the register, she is always asking for something different . The first time she refused to sell me the food and treats because she stated I was supposed to have a vet script for treats as well. I went to the vet and they told me that it wasn't true. I went back to the store this time she was asking for an expiration date on the script. It's so frustrating and annoying because I have to go to another store now which is far to purchase my puppy's food just because she keeps changing her mind and the store policy. Never an issue with other cashiers

I’ve been taking my dog here for grooming since she was a pup and was overall happy with the services.We dropped our dog off today and showed the pic of past haircuts and picked out length we always get.When I went to pick up our dog they shaved her completely bald to the point you can see her skin. The groomer Chevella G clearly didn’t know she was doing. She tied a handkerchief around our dogs neck to cover up cuts/razor burn on her neck. Terrible! Look at my dogs neck

This is our first time using Petsmart’s grooming services and let me tell you it was the best experience we have had yet. We shave our long haired cat a couple times a year (she loves it by the way) and we have tried multiple different groomers and they don’t quite do the job right. Rachel, the Salon leader, was exceptional in all aspects of our visit. Her positive attitude, quality of work and willingness to help is the reason why we will be coming back! If you are in need of any grooming services ask for Rachel.

I have never had a problem here to complain but today that changed , I will no longer will be taking my business to this place ever again . My dog had an appointment to get groom because he got skunked well my dog hates getting his nails done but what dog does , so they have that in his chart that his nails are a problem to do so they skip over that and they groom him with no problem well today my husband took him in they tried saying he was late and then my husband said the girl said oh well the chart says he is a problem for his nails so she approached our dog instead of making him feel comfortable she went straight for his paws and he got upset so they turned him away saying he was to excited and he tried to nip at her but you went straight for the paws of a dog who is not excited he was nervous . Then I spoke to the house manager, he was horrible he wanted for me to let him speak and explain something I already know but he didn’t want to hear what I had to say so he decided it would be a good idea to hang up on me . So now thanks to his manager I will be calling corporate. I have all your names including your groomer . I will never step foot in this place ever again ! Horrible I’m so upset how nasty this place was

Many friendly people here but a lot of rude people too. Today was the last straw. Make sure to request for your favorite groomer whenever possible, the one that your furry family member already knows and likes. We learned our lesson. Also, proceed with caution when buying electronic products here. Go to Petco or Amazon instead.

Cosmo's first trip to Petsmart and Katie could not have been more helpful! She helped us find the prefect teething toys along with some cuddles while we talked about puppy training in a couple of weeks when Cosmo turns 10 weeks old.

Took my 10 month old GSD there for grooming. They qouted me $80.00 to shampoo, cut/grind her nails and brush her teeth.They called shortly after I dropped her off to tell me they couldn’t use the blow dryer, couldn’t cut her nails and did not brush her teeth and were willing to give me 10% discount charging me $72.00 deducting only $8.00 for all the work they failed to do. When I went to pick my dog up, Julie was rude and unprofessional. I will never take my dog there again.

Very unfriendly staff. Came there to buy the first pet for my kid. In total, I've asked two different ladies to help me there. Both were extremely unfriendly. This lady who was supposed to help us about pet, omg, her facial expression was like she was making a huge favor to us. I asked about the pet's age, she did not know anything and in general looked like it's boring for her to answer on customers questions. Working with people, you should be more friendly and helpful!!! I'm unpleasantly shocked after this visit.

Seriously absolutely amazed by Kellee and her artistic talent with my standard poodle Dixie Faye. She was able to create such a soft look for her even though we were going pretty short. Consistent groom throughout and she was able to blend her leftover Mohawk into a little kinda top knot. The blending on head and her ears have never looked this good. Perfect clean feet. Thank You Dixie is walking around like she’s Miss America.

My dog loves going here, whether it is to visit the vet, to buy food, treats, & dog clothes. The employee there was very friendly and gave great recommendations for our dogs. She knew a lot and gave good advice. Customer service is great and knowledgeable and it makes me feel confident shopping there. I look forward to shop on the clearance racks as the deals are usually amazing on the things I want to buy. I rarely experience such excellent customer service. I will continue to bring my pets here knowing they are in great hands! I would highly recommend this PetSmart.

We brought our Boston Terrier there on 3 separate occasions and all 3 times his paw was just picked up and yanked to see his reaction for nail trimming. Well, duh - of course he's going to react! He was so traumatized that I couldn't touch his paws after that AND he was banned from there. But, guess what? I found a PROFESSIONAL groomer who is gentle and not aggressive. The boy doesn't even flinch to get his nails done now. I will never again bring my animals for grooming there.

I recently moved to the Bloomingdale area and brought my puppy to Petsmart grooming in Bloomingdale, three times, hoping to find a good groomer.Twice, my puppy came back looking very uneven. Her nails were clipped and sharp, even though I paid extra for nail grinding. At the Bloomingdale location, they are inconsistent and do not always trim the fur on the dog's paw pads. Other Petsmart locations pay attention to detail and trim the fur on the paw pads.On my most recent visit, the groomer at the Bloomingdale location, gave my puppy a very uneven and choppy cut. They also completely shaved my puppy's tail, saying the tail was too matted to brush out. I've had four dogs with long, furry tails and this has never happened at any other location!I paid for the top/deluxe grooming package with add-ons which cost $97. Four and a half hours later, my pup came back with a terrible, uneven cut and shaved tail. This did not look like professional grooming at all!There are a few small details which are not as important, but worth mentioning. Twice I asked for bows instead of a bandana. Both times they forgot and nothing was put on my pup.During my recent visit, they lost the paperwork for checkout and I waited awhile for them to figure things out.The door to the backroom, in the grooming salon was not fully closed. There was a fan blowing dog fur, out of the backroom onto me, as I waited for them to find the paperwork.I do not recommend the Petsmart Bloomingdale location for pet grooming. They may be fine for buying supplies, but definitely not for grooming!
