I am a returning customer after 4-5 years because Christina H is back! She used to groom my first pup and now onto my 2nd. She does a great job and is very kind to my big Boxer boy.Had she not returned to the Bloomingdale salon, I would have taken my boy elsewhere. We were turned away due to our dog being old. The lady kept looking at our dog (and us) with disgust and refused to work on our dog even though we had an appointment. Save yourself a bad experience and go somewhere else.

Ashley was amazing with my pup. She introduced herself to my little shy boy and he slowly warmed up to her and followed her through the doors. When I came to pick him up, he was as happy as how I left him! My boy is usually a nervous-wreck when I leave him with a stranger but Ashley was really good at handling him. Many thanks for the wonderful experience!

Christine was very helpful in making a selection for my dog to get a front harness. Then I found out she was the manager of the dog grooming salon, so I asked her to cut my dogs, nails and she did! She also gave me good tips about training my dog

I'm new to this area and my pup is 15 years old, and super shy. She has anxiety when getting her grooming. She had the best gal in Rock Island at Petco. Her name is Stacy. I was quite worried about finding a new groomer. We stayed with Petco and my baby got Trisha in Schaumburg.What a great match for my little girl. Trisha did a great job, and am so thankful we got so lucky to get her.

For me it is a combination of a fair price, quality work and a friendly staff. The Bloomingdale Petco location excels in all three of these areas. I have previously had the grooming of my dog done by a young man named Jay. He is fantastic and really cares for the pets that are brought to him. We needed to go out of town and Jay was not available to groom our dog that day. The two young ladies that were doing grooming that day were wonderful. They did great work, they were friendly and professional. Even the gentleman that was at the register was friendly. I am very satisfied with the experiences I have had at the Petco location. An added side note that is also a great plus, this location is always neat and organized. Great work. Thank you.

While Alex was wonderful, I just don't understand why the process is so long. I had to ask to take her home, while I can hear her crying in the kennel. I dont blame Alex I am sure it is Petco's process. While I get they can't have the pets wondering around the facility, it made me feel very uneasy. Wont use it again. Also I had to as many times not to do the nails and not groom, just wanted a shampoo. Wont use this again.

J the groomer suggested that my 14 week old puppy receive a puppy cut instead of a full fledged groom. So that my puppy could get acclimated to the whole process of grooming. In addition, my puppy came out looking and smelling so good!! I will definitely be there again for grooming services.

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Floyd smelled and looked great when he was done. For a nervous boy who won't let me anywhere near his paws, his nails came out looking better than any mani-pedi I've ever had.

They dont keep the salon clean and hygienic. Where is pup is before shower is back again after shower... if the pup walked where there was pee (not cleaned) before shower it walks again on the same spot after shower... so how is it clean leave alone hygienic?
