I take my Pomeranian Roxy here for grooming and she always looks amazing afterward. They have a large selection of products for all pets too, including a lot more fresh/refrigerated food for your pets! I also talked with their reptile expert about possibly getting a chameleon and she was SUPER honest and SO helpful. You can tell she really cares about the animals and making the right fit with the owner. I really appreciated it!

Love the crew in grooming! Always kind and upbeat! Very good with my dogs. Sandra went above and beyond with my baby girl! Would definitely recommend people to go out of their way to come to this location (I do!) The front end staff seem just as kind and helpful! Keep up the great work everyone! Great store!

I have 3 Petco's around my area, and this is by far the best store. The fish are always looking healthy, and if not, they are always taken care of the proper way. They have the best selection of fish and plants. The store is very clean, and the employees are always very nice and helpful.

Edna at the bloomingdale store is so amazing! Give her a raise! I told her I needed my dog food a little bit faster than usual, due to unforeseen circumstance. She left a note for her manager to get in contact with the driver, so my dog had food by morning! No, that is Customer Service! Thank you Edna from Petco, Bloomingdale Illinois.Love Jackson the boxer !

Do not go to this petco, the experience in the grooming department, I had today upset me so the peoplethere raisedmy blkod pressure, with Kristie and her manger whom he wouldn't give his name, I had an appointment that they set when I arrived they wait to tell me that one of dogs couldn't be seen today, then I had a piss poor talk with the manager at this location and he started to say he uphold what his employees say so they are free to play games and mess with people time I will never bring my Babies to location again and I strongly recommend anyone reading this do the same they have very bad attitude and it's just the grooming department 👎🏽👎🏽

Always an enjoyable trip to the Bloomingdale store. Everyone is friendly and knowlagable. Also I have purchased numerous small pets and various fish from Petco and have always been happy with them and their condition. I believe they are well taken care of in the store.

Man was very rude.. the day I got my hamster (boo) I went over to get an employee and a older man came walking over. He said to me that "hamster do great in pairs!" (They do not) So I laughed and said "no they don't..?" And he gave me a rude dirty look (I didn't like that). Than he proceeded to open the cage and VERRY AGGRESSIVELY sift through the bedding hitting many hamsters with his hands including boo! When I saw boo I said "I want to adopt that one please" and the man decides that he's going to push hamsters over to get to boo so obviously they all get scared by his hand and run off and he than scares boo and picks him up verry aggressively and boo gets scared and bites him and than the man thinks in his head (Oh iT WiLl PrObABly Be A GrEAt idea If I ThRoW tHiS LittLE fragile HamSter!) and then it happens he threw boo on the ground and he fell on his back.. boo was fine but the man didn't say sorry or anything he just walked away.. boo is fine now but I'm still mad about it.. this man sucks and can't handle a hamster hope he gets fired because I've had other worse incounters with him before and my friends and family have too!! I'm very angry! 😡

As much as I love petco as an organization for what they do for animals, I'm really upset with their fish. They always look sickly. I bought 7 fish from them (that looked the healthiest), and literally all but one are dead now. The last one is on its last stretch of life. The problem isn't our tank because we also bought fish from Aquarium Adventure and took some from our family, and all of them are alive and happy. I'm just really upset that I couldn't do anything to keep the poor little ones alive. I'll continue to be a member and get food for the dog and cat, but I don't think I can support getting fish from here anymore.

this will be my first and last time will take her to that place.I took my dog to get her haircut and I asked them to get her a schnauzers haircut. When we came back for her she still looked the same! they told us that’s she kept moving, like okay we understand that, but how are you gonna make us play u a lot of money like if u cutted her hair when u barely did,literally make no sense, unbelievable. first picture was before the haircut, the second picture was after the haircut, she stills looks the same, and the last photo was how we waited her haircut to look like.

The store was clean, and the staff were helpful. I just moved to the area and brought one of my dogs with to pick out new toys, collars, and updated their dog tags also. She chose a two pack of these massive stuffed animals, so the trip was a success 🙌

usually take my dog to the Schaumburg location but ended up with appointment here. awful service.. no help from staff in grooming.. wanted his nails cut. after 7 sec of in grooming room they came out to tell me “ he wont get on the table” i explained that the girls in schaumburg managed to get him on table.. and then wouldnt help me get him on scale.. she just stood there like shes never seen a dog before.. um im not the employee.. u need to do your job. she said my dog was “too big” … hes a black lab that weighs 109 lbs.and sweet as can be.. not aggressive at all.. . um like u never had bigger dogs… please.. so i went out in below temps for nothing.. called the one in schaumburg.. told them what poor service we got and they said bring him over.. they thought it was odd that happened.. i think that she was just lazy and cant handle a dog bigger than a pug.. she was useless.. never going back there again.. if u dont want to handle dogs.. not right job for u. she sucked

Bloomingdale Petco: This store tried to dump expired product on me by taking a damaged box of cat food packets, filling it with expired products with different expiration dates, and taping it closed. The box expired March 1, 2023, and my pick up date was three months later. This could’ve been an honest mistake except for the fact that the cardboard package had been reassembled, and the packages inside had different expired dates from the outside packaging. When I called the store about this, they told me that yes they had a package there that wasn’t expired. Why wasn’t I given that package in the first place? Very rude way to treat someone who has been a loyal customer for 20+ years, by filling my order so deceitfully. All without admitting fault or apologizing, despite the fact that I kept my cool, and I was polite when I called the store and spoke with Veronica. There seems to be a real disconnect between Petco Online and the locally managed stores. I believe that is why they felt they could get away with this kind of behavior at the Bloomingdale Petco.

Your company is charging sales taxes on the regular price and not the sale price.Sales taxes in Illinois are charged on the final price of the item.I checked with Illinois dept of revenue. Also reported on your store

The grooming salon manager is the rudest human I have ever met. We use other grooming and retail environments to help us care for our 7 pets. We'll gladly go elsewhere to be appreciated

If you know your fish are not 100% okay or see something at the water, please tell the customer not to buy it. Suggest any other fish or where to go. I had to came back because one lady sold me sick Platys knowing that there was something in their water but telling me it doesn't matter. Now i have to spend more money on remedy hoping they don't die.But thanks to the Fish expert old lady that had the patience to explain to me how to fix it and how to test my water to see how they are progressing.
