This place really has a lot of awesome food and it brings me back to my childhood and some great memories with all those wonderful Italian dishes that I grew up with and also I like coming here because the prices are very reasonable. The store is always super clean and most of the staff is pretty friendly and I definitely feel it's nice to see a smiling face so stop by and get some of those wonderful old school Italian favorites and also don't forget to check out some of the weekly specials because the deals are unbelievable😙😙😙😙😙👍

Disappointing after all I'd heard about them. More expensive than most groceries with a smaller selection. It didn't help that I stopped here on the way home from the nearby Woodman's.There are some bargains if you look hard I guess, and they do have a decent bakery.

Love the ethnic variety and quality of this Italian grocery store. Head and shoulders above others. It’s out of my area but I will make a point of shopping there for special occasions and imported goods.

My favorite place to shop for deli meat, fruits and vegetables. While waiting for the deli to call my number the bakery brought out fresh hot bread. I started snacking on it while waiting. Yum!! Today I tried curbside delivery. Another great experience. I was surprised to find out that the gentleman that brought out my order had never received a tip. Today that changed.

Caputo's has a great deli. Fruit and vegetable options, and specialty items.

Normally, we are excited to shop at Angelo Caputo's, the Roselle store is not our normal store, but nonetheless, we thought the quality and customer service should be the same at every store. Michelle Young was the register manager on Saturday when we came in. She was rude and very impatient, with not just the customers trying to check out but with her fellow employees as well. Somebody with this type of demeanor should not be in a position to deal with customers or people. We will not be coming back to this Caputo's.

Been shopping in Caputos for years....until they remodel it. Maybe not connected to it, personal changed, no more local friendliness, deli section filled with "commercial" meats and cheeses that are very high in price. Wish we could get that family oriented grocery shop back.

Good store and location. Just sitting down to a premade Mediterranean salad I bought this morning to take to work for lunch, paid $8.49 pkus tax, it has loads of brown along edges of chopped lettuce. Had to toss half of it out. For the price, these sould be fresh made withing 24 hours or so. It's kind of a joke, Angelo never would have tolerated anything like this. Like most places, they've raised prices and so far have not corrected back as the economy recovers. Organic produce & especially organic and nonorganic meat is still very pricey. Would like to see more organic products offered here & by all Caputo's. This store is now cleaner and has had some updates. The wait times in lines are minimal, friendly staff.

I love Caputo's. This morning I went to the deli first because no one was there. There were 2 ladies doing production, then a guy came out, talked to the ladies and then went in the back. He saw me, the older woman saw me. No offer of help. I asked the younger one if anyone was working the counter. She said yes. I said I've been waiting for help and people saw me. She said you didn't ask for help. So unless all customers don't ask for help we don't get waited on? This is not the first time this has happened with these 2 ladies. I've been there in line with several other people and there may be one person doing deli. The two ladies don't stop to help customers. I know all stores are employee poor these days and I'm willing to wait in line.. But the employees need to help the customers to keep this business going. I spoke to the manager. I left my basket there and left. I only had 2-3 items in my cart, but I had just started shopping.I spend usually $150+ a week there. Not today. Very disappointed today.

I have shopped here for many years and have never had a bad experience. The quality and prices of meats, sausages and produce are tough to beat in the area. In addition, the entire staff is genuinely friendly and happy to help you out. However, after my experience last Friday my impression of Caputo's will never be higher. I stopped in early for some tailgating supplies. Shortly after I left I realized my money clip was missing. Checked everywhere and decided to call Caputo's to see if I had left it there. The manager, Angela, answered and after asking me a couple security questions she informed me they had it. She told me a customer had pointed it out to her as it was it was on the floor and the bills had fallen out. In true Caputo's fashion every dollar was there along with my ID, credit cards and everything else. Certainly I was relieved and offer a cash reward or to buy lunch, and she simply smiled and said she couldn't accept either. What could have been a horrible way to start the weekend, was avoided thanks to Angela and the fellow customer. I'm eternally grateful for their honesty and it's nice to know these types of good deeds still exist!Sincerely , RonElk Grove Village & customer for life ;)

I've been shopping at Caputo's for years and it has always been a favorite grocery store this one specifically. Today was the first time I've encountered a nasty employee. As I was going to check out there were three aisles with at least 3 guests per line waiting and not a soul at the self checkout. So I decided to take my 16 items to the self checkout. The older Asian lady that was working at the self checkout proceeded to come up to me after I scanned my first of 16 items with a grouchy attitude telling me its only 15 items at the self check out... I guess 16 items is breaking the rules time to be hostile towards a very regular customer. Well I finished checking out and needed age verification for a bottle of wine... well she was too busy reading what ever was on her phone to notice I needed assistance fortunately another girl came out of the office to assist. This employee needs better training or something... It's good for Caputo's that I know this isn't the norm here and will be back but I felt this should be noted.

Maybe not fair to judge a store on a single product, but I found the made in store pizza absolutely horrible. Like, literally in the top 5 worst pizzas I've ever had, just behind awful '90s Domino's and the Papa John's I had at Great America, and only *slightly* better than the trash served at modern day Pizza Hut.Ever had pizza from like, a booth at a rinky dink carnival or county fair, pulled from some warming case thing where it most likely just sat for hours previously? Basically imagine that. Bland, soggy crust, nasty sauce, and greasy, rubbery cheese that had an off-putting sour taste with nothing to redeem it except for some almost halfway-decent sausage.I had a bad feeling when I opened the box and found 2 almost plasticky-looking slices instead of just 1, when I'd paid $2 for the box. Pizza for $1 a slice would've seemed sketchy to me 20 years ago, and even moreso now. People say that "even when pizza's bad, it's still pretty good," which doesn't sound like an unreasonable statement, but I have to disagree here. As a fat guy who hates wasting food, I only ate half of one slice, took one bite of the other to see if it fared any better (it didn't), and threw the rest away.I know pizza doesn't really count as authentic Italian food, but I expected MUCH better from a grocery store with such a heavy focus on Italian cuisine, where they'd readily have access to at least DECENT ingredients! I'd legit rather eat school cafeteria pizza!

Everything Italian you can imagine. Fantastic cookies. I go here to get “cookie gifts” for friends and family. Meats and cheese - delightful. Pasta - amazing selection. Definitely a destination store. I fly into Chicago just to go shopping here (along with other things).

Nice store! Good selection of produce, deli meats, pastas, snacks, pastries drinks and other groceries! I have been coming here since I was like three years old with my mother when it first opened up. I even worked at this location a couple of years ago before the pandemic began as well for a bit. Definitely recommend this store!

I do not know why, but there is a different vibe from before the reconstruction. Now there is cheap stuff especially in meat.... There is no comparison with the quality that used to be... I'd rather have the past again when I go there.

Best place to shop. Great verity of products and produce. The store has been updated and looks phenomenal. Nice and clean. They have a great selection of hot ready-made foods and a area to eat. Even with the supply crunch, shelves are stocked. Great staff... The hot lunches are awesome. Nothing like having a little bit of food before you go shopping so you don't shop hungry.

Love Caputo's! They recently remodeled this location and it is very nice. Employees are very helpful and friendly. Some items are a little bit more expensive than other grocery stores but worth the price.

Always a great selection of fresh produce at a very very reasonable price! deli meat and cheeses are also very good and they have Boar's Head which you can't get better than that. the regular Meats and Seafood are also very competitively priced and the quality is very good. Overall this is a great grocery market and an asset to the greater Chicagoland area.

Ordered online for curbside pickup and my fruit & vegetables must’ve been left in the freezer. When I picked up my order and got home the fruit & vegetables were frozen and black. I couldn’t eat them as they were damaged. It was a waste of my money. I hope this never happens again. I have one photo but there’s more that is damaged not being shown.

Great, fresh produce with a more exotic variety than you'd find at your typical Walmart. The fresh parisian bread is also incredible. I try to go here often for my shopping due to the quality of the produce compared to that of other grocery stores in the area.

Caputo's has an excellent fruit and vegetable selection. With a variety of fruits and vegetables that are common as well as exotic. I like their prepackaged nuts and dried fruits selection. Being a new diabetic trying to get a good balance of vegetables is easy. Their deli department has a really delightful selection. I use to enjoy prior to being diagnosed with diabetes. Their fish and meat selection is also excellent. With just cooking for me and my husband I can get two of things in a package. Sometimes I will get four and divide into plastic freezer bags for separate meals. The prepared meals are restaurant quality. I love their egg plant Parma and will slice the individual serving into 3-4 slices and have as a lunch or dinner. Tuesday's are 10% for seniors which also helps with my limited disabled income. Interesting and unique cultural treats from around the world. Worth a visit. Reasonable price for quality food.

I love Caputo's grocery stores and I really like this location. The employees are very friendly and helpful. One time I was buying spinach dip and I forgot the Hawaiian bread to go with it. I remembered while I was checking out. The cashier was able to ring me up for the bread and another employee went to go get it for me. It was a small thing but made a huge difference in my day. Little things like that are what keep me coming back to Caputo's.
