Metro Apartments in Bethalto Illinois are parasites using hoards of impoverished and lower class people as a host but they use fake smiles so gullible people think they're nice.This place was already overpriced, then they made the price even higher after a year living there..........They charge and scam you for any little thing. For example:1. it's mandatory that you pay for cable (most people including me don't even use or want cable).2. They charged us $30 per window to replace (the cheapest flimsiest) BLINDS. Why are WE paying YOU to fix YOUR OWN property (that we already pay too much for)Just so the blinds can be broken again and and we get some kind of fee about it. (Aren't minor easily replacable damages like blinds what the pet fee is for?).........If you don't like being threatened legally and harassed, i don't recommend these apartments. The person who lived with me had her car break down, and let go from her job. So from my income alone, outside of starving, all of my money went to these parasites. We became behind on various bills, but told them what's going on, but still consistently came through eventually. But randomly, property manager (who we had a concise conversation explaining when my payday is), chose to give us 5 days to pay $700 for blinds, late fee, and remainder of rent just 1-2 days outside of when I get paid again or we get evicted. On their site they say something about "understanding and empathizing with our tenants". What a joke. This ghastly mayonnaise monkey probably has never struggled a day in her life just sitting around getting paid by her financially struggling underlings for doing nothing but scheming about how to scam people every day..........If you work nights i don't recommend this place. I work until 1-2am and I was woken up at 7:20a.m. and then 9:30am to the sound of them drilling and banging into the sides of my apartment for an extended period of time..........If you care about the safety and fair treatment of the lower tier workers, i don't recommend these apartments. They don't care about their workers. We were very contagious with covid at the same there was some scheduled maintenance, and we told the manager and she apparently never told her maintenance crew peons that we were sick. So they just came into our house without us letting them in then they left upon us telling them we have covid.........If you respect your privacy or love your pets, i don't recommend these apartments. They send only a 24 hour notice for two dudes in boots are going to come stomping into your house after letting themselves in and leaving the front door open for your pets to maybe escape..........If you rely on wifi for work or recreation, i don't recommend these apartments. Wifi is absolutely horrible shutting down randomly often but still charge you the same

Great experience! Newly separated and living alone she made me feel so comfortable and special. She did what ever she could to make sure I got my key today! I’ve been smiling since I left! Thank you Metro for giving me my apartment! Time to finish packing so I be ready to move in my beautiful apartment next week!!! I highly recommend!!!

3/19/24: We have had nothing but a wonderful experience living here! My neighbors are lovely. Heather has always been kind, considerate, and upfront and honest. Maintence requests are answered in a timely manner. We just renewed our lease for a 3rd year. Thank you Metro!

The women in the office, Katelynn and Heather, are absolutely amazing! I moved here after getting out of a bad situation and they were so helpful with giving me different information (not just regarding my apartment) but with other things like my car as well. They definitely made starting over a little less stressful. Any time I was in the office, they had nothing but positive vibes. Thank you!!

Very satisfied with all services. Management is great, easy to talk to and readily available. I have only had two instances that I needed minor repair in the more than two years I've lived here and they were both addressed and taken care of in a very timely manner. They have worked all summer in beautifying the area with landscaping and new signs. I also love the activities they have throughout the year to promote neighbor interaction. Metro Apartments at Bethalto is a nice place to live.

My boyfriend and I just moved in and we love it already! The office is so helpful and the system they use for payments and any maintenance is so easy as well!!! Definitely would recommend especially for first time renters!

Extremely grateful for all of Shannons’ help with helping me get in touch with Heather and Amanda! I love my apartment and the location, it is a very safe and relaxing environment. I absolutely love the layout, inside and out. The fact that I am a disabled Army Veteran had me nervous, but Heather, Amanda, my neighbors and the rest of the town have helped with my accommodations and I am glad I made this my new home! 😃

Rented two different apartments and enjoyed both experiences. Staff is quick with responses. Heather helped me into a smaller apartment when I needed to downsize. Both moves were easy and done quickly. Only needed maintenance twice in two years and they were timely. Neighbors kept to themselves and never had a noise complaint. Pet friendly! Easy access to shopping and highway. Overall very good experience. Highly recommended in my opinion.

I am very pleased with the neighborhood for when I go to my walks around the area. Everything is clean and quiet and safe. The apartment itself is high quality, up to date amenities, and requests I have are always handled (when I need anything) and I would recommend Metro to anyone looking for a high quality apartment at a reasonable price.

I lived for 1 year and 3 months and then had to move from Illinois. I would recommend this place to live. Location is perfect. Rent is not high. It’s average. Best part is staffs are very supportive, especially Heather and Amanda. They take care of every tenant and organize get together kind of party time to time. Maintenance staffs respond very quickly and work very efficiently. I never find any delay in their response. I had a good time. Thank you guys.

They say upgraded kithchens. No microwave, no dishwasher, no storage. The kitchen is literally a refrigerator, stove, sink, with 2 regular cabinets and 3 small cabinets. There is nothing about the bathroom that is upgraded, it a normal bathroom with no storage. They had to install a dryer vent, because there wasn't one, the guy installed the vent in front of the outlet so now my dryer sticks out of the closet so had to remove closet doors. The management is really nice.

I was a tenant for 2+ years before finally finding a bigger place elsewhere. Didn't have any issues that couldn't be addressed, just needed more space for my kids. When no one else would give me a chance, Heather did and I'll forever be grateful to her for that. The townhomes are decent for the price, and should give anyone looking for a 2 bedroom a good amount of space. Pretty responsive maintenance team, Jesus always made sure I was taken care of whenever he had to come fix something, whether it was the leak in the wall or full installation of the HVAC unit. Give them a chance if you're needing a new place in Bethalto, it's very quiet for the most part, it's conveniently close to highway and makes your commute a bit easier if working outside of there. I work in Collinsville and even if I run late I tend to always make it right on time because of the location. Hope this helps as you continue to search for your next home.

I moved here from Indiana and Metro was very responsive and helpful during the process. The bethalto team was very helpful in all aspects of the move in process. I.e they were there for any request, they were there to transfer the key to me, and they were available for the final walk out. They fulfilled every maintenance request within 1 business day, and as stated- they were there for ever request and assistance inquiry. A simple review does not suffice for this apartment complex, and it has only gotten better in the two years I had lived there. We love staying here. The staff is amazing and very helpful. They stay on top of everything in the complex. They are all about the community of metro. Any issues you have they got you lol. We’ve been here two years and the only way I’m leaving is if we buy a house. The apartments are nice and comfortable. We have no complaints.The Lovetts

In my 15-ish months of living here, my experience has been very great. Staff is easy to talk to and courteous. Maintenance requests submitted are addressed immediately and satisfactorily. Property is kept very clean. Interactions with neighbors are always positive. The entire environment feels safe and peaceful.

been nothing but nice since I arrived. My husband and i are very impressed with the size of the bedrooms and living space. The staff is super friendly and the maintenance guys get here asap. Even on busy days. The park within walking distance is great too. The apartment was clean when we got here and everyone around seems nice too. All in all nice place to live.

I lived here for 9 months. It was a nice, quiet place. Neighbors mind their own business. Landlords are professional and prompt with maintenance and repairs. The complex is close to shopping center, post office and several restaurants. Ample parking. The complex is also pet-friendly. I enjoyed living here.

We just moved in about 2 weeks ago and this place is awesome! It was super easy to apply and move in. We are so close to shopping and small local businesses as well. The neighborhood is very pretty with all the trees and vegetation and is well taken care of. The leasing office gets back to you immediately with any problems you have. Their maintenance man is so very handy and was able to fix any problems we had. It has been just a great experience so far. We love it here!

I've lived in these apartments for going on year 6 I think....when they were mice infested and under some shady management...Maintenance was horrible and sketchy. They would slap a bandaid on things until it broke again. I took care of a lot of things myself that I shouldn't have had to do.That being said this place has improved tremendously!! Rent is too high in my opinion but maintenance is always quick and Heather is the absolute best!! Very professional and always nice

Metro provided my family and I Excellent service!! Big Shout out to the Managment. They made the process smooth and SAFE!!! We love our new home. Super clean not to mention BRAND NEW EVERYTHING!! let me say this again... BRAND NEW EVERYTHING!! I love the area...less than ten minutes from every essential store... my fav...WALMART!! LOL. The area is great for kids the has a park in "walking" distance. My kid goes to school and the bus picks him up right at our entry. I love everything about this place! I know you will!!
