This place is a JOKE‼️ I MEAN YOU GUYS CAN NOT EVEN GET A SIMPLE ORDER. EVERY TIME I GO HERE WHICH TODAY WAS THE LAST YOU MESSED UP THE ORDER. ORDERD A CHICKEN STIP BASKET WITH RANCH AND YOU ASKED WHAT DIPPING SAUCE I WANTED. WAS NOT IN THE BAG. ALSO GOT A BURGER AND FRY'S AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW NO FRYS JUST A BURGER. NEED TO TEACH THE CHILDREN WORKING THERE HIS TO DO THE JOB

This evening was horrible. I have the D.Q. app on my phone. Tried to use 1 of the deals, it messed up. She got it to work for me. I ordered 2 for $5.00 from menu & a combo. Then, I asked for my drink. She said I only ordered the burger! I didn't get to scan before I paid so no reward points! Got home, I had to share my fries, he didn't get any. To make it worse, burgers & fries were COLD!

Just moved to town and this was the first place my son wanted to eat. I was amazed on how good the service was. Food was excellent 👌🏻. Even watch the worker run out from behind the counter to hell this older man with the door. I was so impressed by that. I wish I could remember her name because they are lucky to have a employee like that.

I had a sub-par experience at DQ in Bethalto yesterday evening. I placed an online order, and scheduled it to be brought out to me. I parked in the designated area and called the store to tell them I was there, but could not get an answer. After waiting for several minutes, I went into the store. Though I was a few minutes late getting my order, it hadn’t even been started yet (and there was only a short line of customers). There were two young girls working behind the counter (appeared to be in their teens) that were goofing off, and were very behind on their orders. I also saw one of them use her hands to put a piece of cookie dough into a drink (no gloves, either) and they laughed about it together. It took way too long and was just a very unprofessional environment to walk in on.

i love Dairy Queen . their ice cream is so good , they’re always friendly , and they’re pretty fast . but they ALWAYS forget my fudge . ALWAYS . i love getting cold fudge with blizzards that don’t come with it , and so i pay the extra 59 cents for it . but they always forget it . i worked in fast food , so i understand things happen and it’s a stressful job . but please , just please remember my fudge 😭 i feel so silly coming back through for a missed 59 cent fudge core but these 59 cents are adding up when it’s continuously missed

The food (ice cream) was identical to every other DQ I've visited. The service here, though, was lousy.The manager on duty ignored me as she filled a large order for another customer. At least four other employees gathered behind the counter, near the drive-in window, stood around socializing while I waited behind this customer---and mind you, there were just two of us customers at the counter, on an otherwise quiet afternoon. After several minutes, I was finally waited on by a young girl whose name tag was marked "trainee." She took my order; I asked for (and expected to pay for) extra whipped cream on my sundae. I took a seat. Better than 15 minutes later (remember, the place was mostly empty on a slow weekday afternoon), the kid finally shows up with my order and my receipt. Yes, I was charged for extra whipped cream, as expected. Did I get it? No. In fact, they skimped on all the toppings. Not the prices, though.I know this sounds petty; it is, after all, just ice cream. But that's the point. This is just ice cream, not a 12-course gourmet meal. Can't they just do their rather simple jobs right?There were several employees readily available, but I had to wait to be served. When I was served, they bungled the order---but not the pricing. I was charged for things I didn't get. And no, I didn't take issue with any of the employees, like many people would've done. I let it go; nobody there would've cared if I had, so why waste effort?Tell you what I will do, though. I won't go back to this place again. And if you value good service, you shouldn't, either.

Came through the drive thru today. Ordered my usual Fish sandwich, add cheese and asked not to boost the sandwich. I also ordered a medium Diet Coke. Total $8.82.I got no cheese. They added tomato. Even after having the cashier repeat my order back and reminding her not to boost the sandwich, it was boosted.They must have had a bad day as this was the first time my order was messed up like this. I come here because they do have the best fish sandwich in the area and they are great about getting my special order right. Today was a huge disappointment.

I ordered from here not too long ago, and was told they need me to pull forward and then my order would be out soon. I really didn't wait too long after that, but they thought I did. And provided a voucher for 2 free meals for my next order. Thank you! Everytime I order, my food always comes out correct. Sometimes a wait is necessary which I don't mind. Never have had a problem from here!

The Drumstick Blizzard with Snickers is amazing. It calls my name once a week. I can’t get enough. Great burgers and fries too. The food is always hot and the Blizzards are the stronghold of this great little restaurant.

The burger I tried to order had tomato, lettuce, and onion. It's discontinued. The kid behind the counter (with his hat on backward) suggested a substitute.The burger I got had:NO TOMATO,NO LETTUCE,NO ONION!So, just a burger with ketchup, mustard, and pickles.NOT AT ALL WHAT I WANTED!The burger patties were ridiculously dry anyway. I ate about 1/3 of my 'burger'.Fries were ok. Blizzard was good. Iced tea was ok.OVERHEARD A COMMENT BY ONE OF THE STAFF ABOUT “OLD PEOPLE”. I MAY BE OUT OF PLACE IN THIS RAMBLING WRECK OF A BURGER JOINT.WON'T BE A PROBLEM GOING FORWARD. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. NOT MY KIND OF PLACE.

The food here has always been fresh and well made. My order has never been wrong. The staff has always been friendly. This place is the complete opposite of the Wood River location. You need to hire more managers and workers like those at this location to run the one in Wood River. It's clear they aren't very good at there job over there by the differences in the hours of operation. This location has consistent open and close times. The open and close times at the Wood River location are all over the place. They are cutting hours to lower the overhead from labor for a struggling business in order to maintain numbers.

My Mother, wife and I like to go to the Bethalto DQ usually once a month. Went on 7/31/21 and the staff was pleasant and food was good. However, I always get a strawberry shake and this time something was off.I drank maybe half, as it was part of my meal,but something just wasn't right. Just a strange taste, not even have a good strawberry taste and bad after taste.I went and asked if anyone else had made comment on the taste of shakes and they said, no. I explained it to them and they stared at me like a deer in the headlights.Just kept looking at me never once offering to make me a new one or something else. I didn't ask because I wanted to see how they would handle it. They failed in a tremendous way.I just left the rest of the shake on the table as it was nasty.

I'm not gonna lie from a delivery driver perspective picking up here is not usually worth it unless I make a decent tip. The wait is horrible. And the one manager I've seen is not friednly at all. The general manager I believe is who else I saw was super friendly and apologetic for the wait. They announce my arrival so I'm assuming they don't even start it til I get there. They are more worried about their in store/drive thru customers more than their online delivery customers. I mainly say that because one manager saw the order was done and ready to go becasue she put the chicken in the bag but walked away and didn't finish it. Im assuming so the Frontline kid could finish it but he had like 6 peoples orders to take. About the time one of the customers asked to change his order after already paying I dropped the low paying order I already waited 10 minutes for and drove 10 minutes to get and would have still had more time waiting and then delivering. It was one 6 piece chicken strip meal and a blizzard.

Decided to give the bethalto location one more try as it is local to us ( normally we drive to godfrey from cottage hills) But just as last week the 3 blizzards we ordered were completely soupy and 1 was not the correct flavor when we opened them. We immediately turned around and went back, we were treated very poorly when we told them what happened ,and not once we were apologized to they simply took our bank card when we told the Manager we didn't want the blizzards, after 20 mins of them having our card they gave us cash and shut the window in our faces. NEVER going back here again

I ordered a medium reseses blizzard and when I got home it was half empty and had almost no toppings in it. When I called to talk to a manager the GM started trying to argue with me and tell me I was wrong. Won’t ever go back there.

While many of the fast-food restaurants are drive-through only, this store is fully operational with highly motivated employees, ready to serve. We certainly appreciate the attention given and the cleanliness of the store. Thank you!

With as many mistakes as this establishment makes and the lack of enthusiasm from their employees, I'm surprised they're even open. The manager had to beg the employees to stop talking and pay attention to the large line in the lobby.Update: I decided to give this place another shot. It's still a let-down. I was charged for extra cheese and I never received it. I requested flame sauce and I received the burger with enough flame sauce to cover the head of a quarter and that's it. I will continue to take my business elsewhere. This is a sad establishment.

I’ve been to many Dairy Queen’s and this by far the best. My friends and I went there to exchange Christmas gifts and celebrate a birthday. The have an area with a small couch and a couple chairs. They welcomed us told us to stay as long as we want. Manager came over a couple times and offered water and chatted. So nice. This was in Bethalto, Illinois.
