Always very good. We recently switched all of our pets to here as it's closer than Pope but would definitely recommend even if you don't live in Bethalto. Beware though, they can be booked out months in advance.

If you have a “special needs” pup this is the vet’s office for you. My Oakley has all the issues; high anxiety, over simulation, dog aggression, requires medication, etc. They do a great job acknowledging she’s a hot mess and always get us into a separate waiting room away from other dogs. The nurses and vet are patient, did what no one else could and CLIPPED HER NAILS! I am extremely appreciative and they make vet visits less stressful

We have always taken our animals here! They truly care about your animals and provide excellent care! Today I could not help my wife because I had to work and the receptionist Sherry M helped her load our puppies back into the car for her. My wife has RA and is in constant pain! I cannot tell them enough how much I appreciate them. They really do go above and beyond!

Never disappointed when I go to this location. today my dog had a UTI infection for the very first time and they were able to squeeze her in. We were in and out in a matter of minutes with antibiotics. I would recommend going to this location. The staff at all levels is amazing! Your fur babies will be treated perfect!

My wife took my dog Buddy there for his annual. The staff were extremely friendly and sweet towards our little guy. The vet tech was very kind and answered any questions my wife had, and the vet was very thorough with his exam and answered any additional questions. Buddy loved every minute being there.Also, they are very reasonably priced for their services.Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone living in Bethalto.

When they weren't able to get me in for an emergency euthanasia appointment for my little buddy, they were very kind and understanding, and recommended another vet in town. That shows integrity, and a dedication to their main patients, our pets. I have so much appreciation for the Bethalto Animal Clinic for their assistance in a difficult time for me.

My parents brought their puppy to this veterinarian, and when their puppy got sick, they turned them away. They told them to take their dog to Edwardsville, because they do not take care of sick puppies. My parents had to take their dog to the emergency clinic and it cost him $3500. I do not recommend this veterinarian, and I suggest that you go other places because they don’t stand behind their clients. Seems to me they’re all about the money and the people that answer the phones there are ridiculous. Left my phone number and never heard back from the veterinarian. I guess the answering service is in charge not the vet.

I have been using this vet for several years now, they’ve always been kind and caring. Perfect choice for your fur baby. They’re also very affordable as a younger mother with an average income I’m still able to make sure my puppies are taken care of. They also do same day visits on availability!

Recently we had a member of our family a Siamese cat that was 14 years old who contracted jaw cancer. We were unsure of what to do and how to go about it. The staff at the Bethalto animal clinic we’re very astute in the medical decisions needed to be made and the humane considerations that were given for us to cope with this situation. I have never been so disgusted with a service before in my entire life.My husband and I visited the facility on January 6th and had an appointment for 4:40. We showed up at our appointment and it was the worst experience of my entire life. The staff in general was okay. I do not blame the receptionist and I thought the first tech was polite. After that, everything went downhill.We contacted Bethalto Animal Clinic simply to get our yearly exam and get my Dog’s vaccines up to date, was we recently moved from Jacksonville, Florida to the Bethalto area.First off, the services were anything but affordable. It was over $200 for a simple exam and 2 vaccines, one of which was an oral vaccine. When I had originally scheduled the appointment, I ensured to ask if I would be allowed to be with my dog during the exam and throughout the process, as he doesn’t know people at Bethalto Animal Clinic yet and neither do I. I was told yes and that the only things I would not be present for, was blood draws and if he ever needed x-rays.When we went to the back room with our dog, the tech was kind and was asking us of our concerns. Not once did she try to get to know Wilbur (our dog) and not once did she try to get him comfortable. We brought his treats with us to help him adjust a little easier and they were not used. Once she was done talking to us, she informed us that she would need to do a blood draw for one of the annual tests and we said okay. She took him back.When I tell you my dog screamed, I mean he absolutely screamed. Not once have we EVER heard him scream like that. We have been to multiple vets, and never has he been nervous or scared like he was there. They come back 20 minutes later only to tell us that everything was done. The Vet brought him in (who I have never met) and did not tell us how the exam was, discuss any issues we had, address a single concern, absolutely nothing. We paid over $200 to listen to my dog scream and I cannot tell you how disgusted I am, not only with myself for bringing him there, but for this clinic to treat my dog the way they did. We weren’t even introduced to the Vet or anything. I felt talked down to when trying to discuss a potential food allergy (diagnosed by my precious 5 star vet) and it was the saddest experience of my life.I cannot describe to you the feelings I have. I will not bring a single living being to this facility ever again, and I will continue to inform everyone in my circle about the horrific treatment of my dog. This facility should be disgusted with themselves. My dog is a member of my family. For you to treat him like a number is unacceptable.

Dan Buller Is horrible. Treated my dog horrible. He’s scared of animals. Dog was in there for a check up and they took her to another room, which they have never done and wouldn’t let me go with them. Not a minute later he came racing in claiming my dog was lunging at everyone. Even though when the nurse took her she didn’t bat an eye. Did not hear my dog bark once (German shepherd you would be able to hear the bark) and he claimed she is too aggressive and not welcomed back. I then offered to go with him and he told me no. Maybe he should learn people skills and how to treat animals before becoming a vet. Would never take my animal there. Place is a waste of time. I would give zero stars if I could. Would recommend anywhere else.

Dr. Bueller is very compassionate I’ll never forget him combing my cat he was very gentle, she was very old, my other cat had Cancer of her tail I was very pleased with the outcome she’s doing very well now, The surgery was reasonable and she had great care I am very satisfied with the Bethalto animal clinic and its staff, I have and will continue to recommend them

I recently brought in my dog and had shown up fairly early to the appointment, I was going to wait because I knew I was ahead of time but The staff brought us right in, no waiting. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. We immediately went into a room and it wasn't long before the Vet came in. He treated my dog with kind hands.

My pet had surgery done and these people made IT seem like it was highly urgent and another doctor told me different but these people are a con artist. They felt of her and said she has such and such and needed to be taken out but when they opened her they seen more and why would these people Refuse to take it all out when its needed,Because They want to close her up and for you to be charged again! It was a 12-1300 dollars. The whole reason in doing this was because they said they would take it all out. Now pet has to be seen Again! Go Elsewhere!! I am in disbelief.! I am so upset. They refuse to get it all out while they had her open. Greed.!

No complaints. I've had to have some tough conversations with these guys over the years and they're always understanding.They're also able to accommodate our dog who isn't very friendly with other pets. That's very much appreciated.
