One of the workers helped me find exactly what I was looking for - despite my strange, disjointed description of the item. Two other items I needed were only available at Ace, none of their competitors carried the items that I needed.

My husband received coupons in the mail to use. We decided to use one of them today. It was a coupon that was to be scanned with my phone that opened my Ace app. The coupon was for $25 off $125. But my app wouldn't bring it up only a different coupon for $20 off $100. The app would never acknowledge or find the other reward coupon. Why send them to me if I can't use them. Aggravating to say the least.

I am so impressed by this store. I’ve never been to an Ace hardware. They were super busy when we arrived. As we walked in cashier stopped, smiled, and said hi as we entered the store. Linda walked by and ask if she could help us. She was so nice and helpful. Usually, if I can’t find what I need a just leave. Linda made sure we got everything we were looking for. Then we had to go out back to pick up one of our item and the young man out there was great. This store has top-notch employees. So nice to see. The world needs more of these Ace Hardware employees! I can’t wait for my next trip!!

Workers inside were helpful, however, I met this beautiful girl out by the flowers and landscaping stuff. She was rearranging the flowers and cleanng up. She is really young but takes her job seriously!

Ace hardware is probably my favorite hardware/home-improvement store. And out of all of the ace hardware’s I have been to this is by far my favorite. I always seem to speak to knowledgeable people and the whole place always has that home town friendly feel. I would recommend this store to anybody.

First of all some of my extended family worked for Ace and always spoke positively. Second of all I went in today to gain more knowledge on a couple of projects and on the way and I held the door for a gentleman by the name of, I can't believe I can't remember his name at the moment but he was extremely helpful courteous and downright wonderful I wish I could tell you his name all I know is he works in the office generally and does a lot of paperwork I just happened to catch him walking in. Anyway I hope anybody and everybody that gets a chance to visit especially the Ace Hardware in Bethalto Illinois will get the same attention I got. Walked out feeling like a million dollars thank you very much sir sorry I couldn't remember your name.

This is a fantastic store. I used to work here, but quit when we moved away. However, I always stop by and visit. They have a great selection of tools, outdoor decor, a paint desk, and the lumber yard. There really isn’t anything you can’t get here. Plus it’s family owned. I’d recommend you check it out.

Prices are high selection is great customer service is usually pretty good although the last two times long lines for checkout while other workers stand over by the service desk doing other work. Matter of fact the other day I had to say something to the other workers for them to come over and start helping the girl check people out because the lines were so ridiculous.

My boss and I stopped to get some painting supplies. The staff helped pick the correct paint color and gloss. Good deal.Went to Ace to get some hardware to install a headboard. They had the parts I needed.

Way better than Walmart and I prefer it to Alton farm and home in the winter when it gets dark early. Young man employee very helpful and clerk was agreeable.That said, many of the locals are yokels and going there feels much like being an extra or the star of Idiocracy.

I had gone in there today to get a key cut for my car, and I was very impressed with the customer service I received. The manager Todd spent nearly an hour taking care of me, as well as an employee named Victor helped in the process as well. Both very friendly, helpful, and informational. I recommend Ace to anyone and will definitely be back in the future.

I don't appreciate having to wait in line so long. There were other cashier's that could have helped out, but the supervisor, the tall dark haired guy completely looked past the fact that there was at least 10 people in line and did nothing. The line went clear to the back of the store.

Been in there three times over the past couple months got canned air nuts and bolts and recently some zip ties first they tried to charge my 19 dollars for a single can of air when the label said 11 got that problem fixed real quick then today I tried to buy zip ties I was sent to an end cap and the 100 pk of 8 inch ties were 6 dollars went to a diffeeent part of the store seen a bunch of them up for 4.99 naturally I grab those get to the counter and they end up being 9.99 said something to the clerk she requested a salesperson and some short old lady said “I’ll go check it out” huffed and puffed and came back after 10 minutes in an isle that was 5 steps away said I was wrong theyre 9.99 I went to check the price was still up at 4.99 with more than one pack but I needed them and wanted to get the hell out so I hit the bullet but after going here many times I think I’ll just stick to going to Walmart or Home Depot
