Pharmacy is almost always extremely rude and unprofessional. Multiple pharmacy techs appear to enjoy projecting their misery onto customers and think it's funny to be disturbingly passive-aggressive. The worst offenders are the large older woman with strawberry blonde hair and a young girl with long dark hair who is often on her phone and who likes to laugh at customers and try to age-shame them. They clearly should not be working with disabled people or the elderly. They also have extremely poor phone etiquette, as they are often snappy and don't realize we can hear them in the background talking about customers as well as their personal and work drama, of which there seems to be a lot at this location. Perhaps customers would be more patient if they weren't constantly being berated and talked down to by these people. I don't know who raised them to behave this way and I feel bad for those who have to deal with them daily.

I would love to lower the ratings for this location to below a 0, but eh.The Walgreens pharmacist staffed on 2/12/2024 had the worst customer service during each attempt made. One can easily inquire ‘How was it so bad if you didn’t speak to anyone?’. That’s actually what made it horribly unacceptable. I would love to say this was a one off, but due to the consistent patterns today, it’s questionable.Regrettably, I am unable to share a name, but if this review is reviewed by Walgreens and/or its pharmacy, they can truly check to see who they should actively reprimand. I called a few times in the morning and few times in the evening.Typically, they would have an automated system check in every two mins to let you know where you are in queue, etc. However, on this day, 2/12/2024, the live agent kept picking up the phone every few mins and only placing it back on hold. Not a single word was communicated. You can tell when someone picks up the phone and puts it down. This happened multiple times for the agent to then pick up after an extended hold to only disconnect the call. Again, I wanted that to just be a one off situation.I called in the evening and it happened multiple times in the 7’o clock hour. I’m of age to share feedback, but this is completely unacceptable behavior and insensitive to the elders that may not be able to share their experiences in this same fashion.Walgreens pharmacy, do better and cut ties w the agent that does not actively align with your mission and values to customers’ needs.

This Walgreens has some the worst pharmacy staff I have had the displeasure of enduring. I decided to use them since they were near by. I called to get a prescription transferred over. I spoke with three different people, was put on hold for a total of thirty minutes, and was told it would take 24 hours. I asked to speak with the manager, his name was Morris, and he asked me to spell my name. As I was spelling it he interrupted me. I asked him nicely to not do that and he yelled at me. I let him know that was not okay matching his tone, and that I was going elsewhere. Never will I go to a place that is so unprofessional and unpleasant.

This is a pharmacy a pharmacy that has one customer service representative every single time and a line of 5-8 people. Medications are never ready , out of stock. Ready but mot ready. They do everything but pharmacy.

They are the worst. The pharmacy can’t keep track of meds and they tell you they don’t have something in stock for days. Then when you get mad they miraculously find it. The lines are always the longest. The customer service is just rude. Zero stars if I could.

The young man working the pharmacy counter today does not know how to process prescriptions for an infant. This was particularly frustrating because he also lacks compassion, empathy and communication skills. Of course, the infant is under their parents insurance, and that could easily be shown and people should not be asked to pay more than they should for some thing because it’s quicker and easier for the cashier.

I had a disappointing experience with an elderly associate who exhibited rude behavior. I visited the store to return passport photos that were incorrectly sized and couldn't be used. Approaching the photo counter, I greeted the woman and politely requested a refund. I handed her the photos along with the pickup ticket, clearly displaying the order number. In an unpleasant tone, she stated she couldn't assist me due to the absence of a receipt, implying I was wasting her time. Despite no other customers waiting, I left the counter courteously.Upon checking Walgreens' website, I confirmed their refund policy accepted either the original receipt or the order number. Returning to the counter, I reminded her of this policy, which she seemed displeased about. She questioned the purchase date, despite it being evident on the order ticket in her view. After a 20-minute delay, a helpful young lady intervened and efficiently completed the refund process in under 30 seconds. It was a stark contrast to the old hag’s inefficiency.While I understand that everyone can have an off day, an apology for the subpar customer service would have been appreciated. A simple acknowledgment of the misunderstanding would have sufficed. It's unfortunate that the rotten woman seemed unwilling to assist and lacked the professionalism one would expect. Hopefully, she can take this experience as an opportunity for growth. Wishing her a better day ahead, as her negative attitude doesn't reflect well. It's evident that her customer service skills could use improvement.

Go to any other pharmacy to get your prescriptions filled. This is the slowest pharmacy on the planet and on top of that, they almost always partially fill your prescriptions and you end up having to make a second trip to pick up the difference. When you call, they are rude and cannot confirm when you will receive the most needed medication, as if what you are buying is makeup and not a needed medication. There is no excuse to half fill anything and when you do, it should not take several days to fill the difference as well as this should not be happening often.

This Walgreens is great until you need the pharmacy. Absolutely avoid this place if you need your meds by a certain time. My prescription was submitted two days ago and the online status is "delayed," the pharmacy needs to verify something. Two days later it has not been updated so I call and it rings and rings and it sounds like the pharmacy answers but hangs up on me. I go there and wait another 10 minutes. I'm told my doc made an error. Ok, well, why haven't you called the doc to get it straightened out? "We can try." I'm thinking, what are you waiting for?! I ask, why don't you email me so I know what the issue is? I HATE coming here for my meds and have actually used the delivery option but it's not always free, apparently. I actually called my insurer to allow me to get a 90 day supply of one of my meds so that I don't have to deal with this every month.

Terrible, don’t go to the pharmacy. Staff is rude, they put you on hold constantly and then hang up and the attitudes are awful. Takes them days to fill a prescription.

Horrible service from the Pharmacist Sheila she refused to give me my daughters medication. She claimed the dose was too high even though I literally had just spoke to my daughters Dr before going to the pharmacy. Then when I refused to leave without the medication with me got an attitude, saying that I’m getting obstinate and I think my Dr is God. Highly do not recommend, extremely unprofessional and rude!!!!! I will be switching her prescriptions to a different pharmacy outside of the Walgreens company after this awful experience! I understand people have to do their job but they do not have to be small minded and rude.

Maybe I just go at different times than most folks. This is an incredibly busy location, and as I understand it a lot of new hires have been brought on recently... All of them great so far. Never have had a bad experience with the staff here, personally, though I mainly go for the pharmacy and occasional late night snacks.Pharmacy staff are kind. Any time there's been a mix up or misunderstanding it's been fixed by the end of the day, and I'm always given a clear time frame of when to expect things. If I come in without notice to fill a prescription, it's usually done earlier than the expected time. Sometimes the wait is 20 minutes, sometimes it's an hour.Both sides of the store could do with more staff at peak hours, like a lot of the shops around here.

I take 3 pills to control my diabetes. When my pills are about to run out, they know to prepare my refills and not only call me but they also send me a reminder text so I don't forget. Sometimes I don't remember much so it's comforting someone is watching over things for you. FREE!!!!

I can't understand all these negative comments about this place. Despite of not having enough help and experienced techs, these people seem to be doing very well. Every time the line starts forming the young male pharmacist opens another register and starts helping customers. I think they are fairly efficient considering how busy this location is.

Not sure what happened to this place, but it's absolutely awful lately. The cashier was horribly rude for no reason (I hadn't even spoken yet). The manager was next to him and that behavior didn't even phase him.Then the pharmacy takes 20+ minutes of waiting in line, both inside and out.And lastly everything is overpriced, but that's pretty typical of Walgreens.

the pharamacy staff is incompetent and rude. took 2 of them over 10 minutes to find an appointment that was made online, then tried to not give me my change for an overpriced $129 covid test, then told me I was negative when my lungs are on fire and every other person in my household has tested positive. f this staff. a pharmacist has to be at least as intelligent as a 10 year old.

This Walgreens is a nightmare. Everything takes a ridiculously long time. Calling, picking up RX, even waiting to check in for a vaccination appointment takes so long. I just waited for a booster appointment for 50 min because their system is a mess. One line for everyone and hardly anyone to wait on us. The pharmacist on duty let the person whose appointment was after mine go ahead of me even though i was there earlier and told them i had been waiting long before that customer. She argued with me that I didn’t listen to her exact words (even though i did) and it was my fault I had to wait. She was incredibly rude. I’m switching to a different pharmacy.

Stay away from this Walgreens! I went in for a flu vaccine and it took them about 10 mins to assist me with that. Once I was assisted and registered, I waited for 50 mins to get my shot and no one came. I decided to walk out because of that long wait. Absolutely the worst customer service experience ever, everyone seems clueless and no seems to care for the customer.

My dog and I got skunked super early in the morning so I raced to this Walgreens (only open store I could find nearby) to get ingredients necessary to get the smell out. While waiting in line, the only cashier was having a full on discussion with another customer. After almost 10 minutes of standing in line smelling like satans a hole, the cashier finally allowed me to come up and check out. He was incredibly rude; I can only assume because ringing me up interrupted his conversation. It would have been nice if he would’ve at least paused his conversation when he noticed my desperate look and horrific stank so I could have gotten out of there.

It took 3 minutes for pharmacy to pick up the phone when I called to check and see if my prescription was ready. The representative then placed me on hold for another 3 minutes.I go to the drive thru to pick up my prescription and was asked to come inside the store because they close in 15 minutes. I go inside the store waited almost 5 minutes for them to find the prescription. Then the prescription was under my twin brother's Walgreens account not mine.I advised them of this error the last time I picked up the same prescription. I waited another 5 to 10 minutes for them to correct the issue.Two weeks prior to this. I was in line to pick up a prescription on a Sunday at 4:48pm. It literally took them almost 10 minutes to take care of customer 2 cars in front of me. By the time I got to the window at 5:03pm the rep then said we are closed. I then told her I had been in line for 15 minutes. She said the registers are already off. Very poor customer service!!! Walgreens this is unacceptable!!!

this walgreens is horrible for couponers and people trying to save money. the employees don’t know how their own system works- ie. coupons, register rewards, walgreens cash- and it’s very embarrassing. managers don’t try to help costumers. instead of trying to help their customers save money they just void the whole transaction. they don’t hire problem-solvers

Got a text that my prescription was ready for pickup. I went to get it, the two person line took twenty minutes and then it was my turn only for them to tell me that my prescription was out of stock. Completely unacceptable. Will be using a different pharmacy from now on.

I’ve had to wait at the pharmacy for over an hour to pick up one Rx. They have around 5 or more people in the back with no sense of urgency at all! It makes no sense why it would take so long. Walgreens pharmacy needs to get it together. Both drive thru lanes were completely packed and inside was the same way.

I call Walgreens phone and got the Automated phone system which went nowhere. Their phone system goes in circles and never actually connects to a physical person and then hangs up on you. When I actually did talk to physical person in the pharmacy, Unless it's a prescription they will not help you with anything else in the store and they're rude about it. I needed help faxing something for work during the Quarantine so I could get paid, normally I would do it myself but I couldn't or sometimes I use the public library but they are all closed down do to the Quarantine, I heard that Walgreens might have a fax machine for the public to use, all I want to knows if they did and how much it would be to send a fax. I'd like to know before having to go to the store, but no one at this store would help. It's not the first time that I've been treated rudely at this location but its definitely the last time since I will now be pulling all of my prescriptions and going to their competition!

I called to ask for product, call the main line, was put on hold, then transferred to the pharmacy, ask the pharmacist for the product, transfer me to the regular department she said, nobody picked up and ran back to her, she put me on hold again, the pharmacist, by the way, very unhelpful, very unpleasant, no manners, nothing whatsoever and she did anyone identified her self. When I asked her for the her name she put me on hold. This was at this wall greens. Hundred W. Cermak in Berwyn very unprofessional, and I speak English in other languages. Could you imagine the people that cannot speak and they just put them on hold very unprofessional will never shop there again.
