Joanna at the sushi bar is absolutely amazing she makes the best rolls and poki bowls I’ve ever had. Here customer service is amazing, even when she’s closing up shop and leaving for the day she will go out of her way to make me one of her famous and delicious poki bowls. Let’s just say this after working a 10-11 hour shift everyday I always look forward to coming to this jewel to see if one of her delicious bowls is left if I’m lucky but even then she goes out of her way to make one if she’s still there. Joanna your amazing you deserve a raise

Purchased some “RANA” tortellini and when I opened the package when I arrived home less than an 30 minutes later more than half of them were soggy and torn up/moldy. Makes me wonder what else I’ve unknowingly purchased and consumed that was bad.

I visited this Jewel Osco and was extremely surprised with their craft beer selection. I really couldn't believe it. Also was very happy with their Walk In Clinic. It was $112 with no insurance which is better than the other immediate care centers. Overall happy with my visit

DO NOT GET EMPLOYEED AT THIS JEWEL!!!!!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THERE EMPLOYEES!!!!!!!!!My son got a job working the night crew. He is on disability and is only able to work at the most 16 hours a week part time hours. When Liz called him for an interview, he discussed with Liz about his hours. She hired him with this understanding. After working 2 days a week for around a month, Maria another manager, started putting him on 3 days. 😐 My son called Liz, she said he needs to talk to Maria. Maria says ok I will fix. Next week he is still on 3 days that 24 hours. Then Liz continues to tell my son and myself that she would have never agreed to these hours and she wouldn’t have ever called him in for an interview. My son that has disability was having a different time processing all of this, so he stopped showing up.About 2 weeks after he stopped showing up, he got a letter saying his benefits were getting reduced because of him work more than 16 hours. We need a verification letter showing he is no longer employed.When we called Liz and Maria, neither one even knew he was no longer working there. And they are management?Anyway Liz and Maria were completely useless,after a week already gone by, I find out we need to call corporate.Do not work here, especially if you have a disability, they WILL DISCRIMINATE!!!!!!’AGAIN DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!!!!!!THE MANAGER SUCKS!!!!!!!THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES!!!!!!!!!

Great to have a Jewel-Osco near home! Very clean store very friendly people the bakery will make you any kind of donuts you asked them to do. The store even has pistachio cakes available most of the time. Do I need to say it's got a Starbucks inside!

This is my go to jewel since I just moved to the suburb of Bensenville, it’s always organized and they always decorate for holidays, there is always staff everywhere and they are really friendly, cashier was friendly and I think it was a manager that helped pack my groceries, they always have good deals as well! And there is a Starbucks inside

*edit* here we're are at the end of November and we are still getting expired foods. Groceries don't cost an arm on the leg as it is and then we are all subjected to food that is on its way out. I love that. I know that jewel isn't the " fancy grocery store" but like literally we all deserve to have food that's freshSo glad everything is expired. It's October 7. Why is there stuff from September 19 on the shelves for sale? Seriously. Everything is so expensive AND expired. How am I the only shopper that notices this? Only self check out. What a waste of time and money

Was able to find everything I wanted. They even had one of my wife's favorite beverages; cranberry Mike's hard lemonade. But, it is hard to find some items in the current floor layout.

This jewel is not my favorite one to go to. The people that work in the deli always look like they do not want to be there and it's an experience in itself trying to get them to help you. I never see anybody in the meat department and the front of the store with cashiers and self-checkout is always chaotic. One of the few things that is good about it is the size of the store which makes for many different options that are available. With everything else however I can't give it more than a six out of 10.

There was a representative following me around the whole time once alcohol was placed in my cart. I understand that there may be a stealing problem, but this is nearly harassment. They followed me for 30 minutes all the way to check out. I can literally just drive 10minutes to the one in Franklin Park. They actually make use of their cameras there. I'm never returning again, grocery shopping is already unpleasant, and I don't need to be stared down in addition to that.

While the staff here are very helpful and probably the best part of this specific Jewel... they're almost always sold out of most of your shopping list. You will need to make substitutions. If you like spring water don't even try it lol they won't have it. The shelves are often times bare and they don't seem to carry a variety of many items that you're used to seeing at other jewels. I'd give it 1 star for the lack of products but I'm adding an extra 2 for the kind and helpful people that work there.

This store is pretty much stocked all the time. And cheap chicken monday they are extremely busy. I love their pizza puffs those are great!!

Love this Jewel location. It's huge, and they have a great selection of all types of food and drinks. It's always very clean and well stocked. Everything is organized nicely. Even during busy times, I'm always in and out quickly which is nice.

This is my Jewel-Osco. It's my favorite. The shelves are always stocked and their produce is the absolute BEST. Now, I can't shop at Jewel for everything but the things that I do get are the best if the best, like the fruit and vegetables. And if they have a sale then that's when I stock up. Check it out...I highly recommend.

8/31 waited at the deli counter as new hire was watched by other workers. Decided to go on shopping and come back .Went to seafood counter and realized needed digital coupon and asked the counter help and was told we needed the app then he disappeared. Went back to deli only to hear the manager complain to a worker about a worker not being behind counter. Went to checkout tried to get help to use digital coupon but check out clerk no clue at all. Left without sale item. Will not waste time here again that's for sure

Friendly staff, good selection, although overhearing a transferred Manager micro Managing a veteran working was annoying, the staff bust there butts , back off and reward your team. Deli department has an awesome team member Nat, she is a very good people person and has always gone above and beyond. She deserves a raise and promotion.

This is a very clean and well stocked store. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store layout is good. On some days the lines can be long, but I have seen the manager bagging groceries to speed things along. The prices are good, and the selections are also. The Deli, floral department, and Bakery are standouts.

I feel bad writing a bad review. This used to be one of the best Jewel stores. Last summer & before pandemic, we loved shopping here but lately it's torture. Had a great male employee, last summer, late night. He wore glasses, stocky and younger. The last few months, late night shopping experience here is the worst. Michele tries to help but the night mgr. lacks in CS skills, shorter, stocky, guy with braids, seems to not like his job. Whenever he is on duty, we have some sort of issue and he never steps in to help. The staff are reluctant to call him to deal with issues. I left the store in tears over an app coupon for twenty dollars off of twenty dollars. We anticipated an issue, because there usually is one lately, so we split our $80 order in two, $21 to use the coupon and then the rest, to avoid a problem. We received a $20 incentive for being excellent Jewel customer's, spend a lot of money. About 500-600 a month. The coupon transaction got messed up, my husband put in wrong payment form, had her cancel that form, gave another form of payment, it should have balanced out but it didn't and we were gipped out of a few dollars of the coupon. Tried explaining to supervisor. I showed her the receipt and my banking app that clearly showed the wrong charge but instead of a common-sense solution, we had to return an item to try and correct it, but it didn't correct it. There was a simple addition, subtraction, solution but she refused to listen. I was worried about our food going bad while we tried to fix it. I actually started to cry because she REFUSED to correct the problem; had the nerve to tell me to return in the morning, am not able to do. The cashier tried explaining to the supervisor what went wrong but to no avail. They owe us 2 to 3 dollars from the $20 coupon. Whenever we shop at this store, my spouse and I ARGUE a lot, all the way home in the car. Shopping here brings out the worst in me, because we feel very undervalued as customers. The time before this I had my husband go into the store without me, didn't want my blood pressure going up with aggravation, so last night, we decided to shop a bit earlier to try and avoid issues. Ended up there til close anyway. We went to use self-check but were sent to a register. Think the reason behind the insistence, we use a cashier is because I am disabled in a motorized cart and it takes up room at self-checkout, we do buy large orders. The self-check has room and wasn't busy. We went to the cashier manned register. We were at least able to get rain checks for 2 items but my husband had to go photograph the items. No one knew the sale prices. The employees are NOT rude, just not empowered to do anything when a problem arises. 3 visits ago, they ran out of rain checks, were out of a lot of items, we missed out on a bunch of sales. I called the store days later and Michele told me we had to make a special trip into the store for raincheck. We don't have time to do this. My spouse got raincheck issue fixed during his next trip. We left a message with Michele to have the mgr call us but she never did. Mgr on vacay; left another message yesterday. The cashier took our number in the parking lot. The only set of doors was stuck part way closed and I tried maneuvering my cart thru, got stuck, bumped into the door. I had to ask a nice lady, that was exiting to tell my husband in our car, I needed our debit card for the return.This fiasco had me in tears. Cashier opened the doors, so I could get my cart thru, she maybe meant well but just because someone uses a motorized cart or wheel chair does not mean they need escort to the door. That upset me more. Could not wait to leave and go home. This Jewel location is convenient for us but not when it makes us, cry, argue, lose money over mistakes that should be corrected. Sad I had to write this. I don't like to be churlish, this store makes me snarky, lacking in CS. Employees try but lack of mgr is a problem. Decent, well maintained store but their online inventory is inaccurate. I drove 30 minutes to this location only to find out that the online inventory was wrong. It showed that the items were available while I stood in the store and found no available stock. Disappointing.
