I brought in my foster dog Max for his neuter today and what a great experience. Words cannot describe how wonderful the staff here is. Amber was so kind and knowledgeable! She made me feel immediately comfortable. Francesca is a dog whisperer! I’m convinced Max would’ve gladly stayed with her forever even if it meant he had to get neutered again :). Thank you Bensenville Animal Hospital for your professionalism and love for all animals no matter their circumstances.

My Google account is under my maiden name, the vet knows us as the Incandela's. We were welcomed with open arms last week when our boy was extremely sick, unfortunately we couldn't save him. The team ( every staff member) was involved in making sure more than once there we had every question answered, after our sweet boy passed because we didn't have enough to keep his ashes, they found a little bottle, drew hearts on it and his name and put some of his fur in it FOR FREE as a sentiment , something of him which was so important. No other vet has EVER done this! Then, yesterday we received a beautiful card individually signed with something beautiful to say about Benjamin " Benji" as if they'd been apart of our lives for years. ALONG with his paw prints and nose prints, so caring and thoughtful! It meant to so much to us! I just want to say; this is a wonderful veterinarian hospital with wonderful caring and compassionate staff not just for the money! Not once did they turn us away! They worked with us as well. Immediately we knew this will be Benji's sisters new place for her Dr appointments, etc. Just turned a sad situation into a beautiful one and that made it easier to continue to heal after our loss! Also, wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the Dr that was there with us that did not rush us, talked us through what to expect, was completely humble and cared about us and Benjamin as a whole.

My dog and my mom's two cats all see Dr. Alan Hertz. He and the rest of the staff at Bensenville Animal Hospital are wonderful!My dog is skittish and my mom's cat is spicy to say the least but the veterinary staff are so kind and gentle. They truly make the process as fear-free as possible.The staff is also very knowledgeable and responsive. I will continue to recommend this vet to friends and family!

Have been going to bensenville animal hospital even before they moved to their new location, and I just wanted to give a shout out to them for taking care of my animals over the years, they do such a great job and I TRUST them! My dog recently got his toe amputated and they have taken such good care of him during my visits with him. The vet techs are just as amazing as the vets themselves, so thank you BAH! I will always recommend you to all my fellow pet owners! Not only is the team great, which is super important, but the prices are also very reasonable, and again I TRUST them!

I’d like to start out with how helpful Bensenville Animal Hospital was! My little kitty started limping yesterday and she had some inflammation on her paw. They were so great and squeezed us in today (on a busy SATURDAY) and I’m so glad I got in to see Dr. Sara Fox. She is clearly such an animal lover and approached my painful kitty with such gentle hands. She was so thorough and took her time making sure we got a complete exam. Dr. Fox explained everything and went over our treatment plan making sure I understood everything, answering all my questions. Despite squeezing me in, the wait was reasonable, the staff made me feel so comfortable and they didn’t rush. The facility was spotlessly clean, front desk receptionist Maria was very welcoming and friendly. Our tech, Shannon, was also very gentle and kind, plus she gave my scared kitty some extra attention which we both appreciated. The staff were all professional and very accommodating. I will definitely be going back to see Dr. Fox again.

Bensenville animal hospital is the best. I've been taking my older dog here for years, and they've always given her the most kind, loving, and thoughtful care. When we got our second dog, we knew he would need knee surgery eventually. They have always been supportive, helpful, and realistic with our long term options. They've never rushed to surgery first, but rather, they have provided insight and guidance to options that are best for our dogs. We have ended up doing multiple surgeries at Bensenville animal hospital for our older dog's mast cell, and she's always been well cared for and had a smooth recovery. They always answer our questions and take time to explain everything to us. We love this place and their entire staff is just phenomenal.

My review always gets taken down maybe because I’m actually being honest!! I had brought my dog thinking they were going to help but instead they didn’t even know what they were doing, the bill keep getting higher & higher & I couldn’t even speak to the vet I keep getting her assistant, even though I had told her I need to talk to her about my concerns bc nothing they did made my dog feel better, all they care about is MONEY!!! I see they have a lot off good reviews but if my honest experience can actually help someone I will review it! If I can prevent someone the time & money to not come here please go someone where else, this place is just so bad, it’s disgusting how they try to take advantage just bc your dog is sick!!! This place is amazing! My regular vet couldn't see my dog who was in pain, so I called Bensenville animal hospital. They were able to see my dog 40 mins later. Everyone who we talked to or worked with were very nice and knowledgeable. I wish I would have given them a try sooner for my animal care needs! I really appreciate the level of care my dog received and knowing she was in great hands made the whole situation even better. THANK YOU!!!

We are very pleased with Bensenville Animal Hospital. They are kind, helpful, responsive, and professional. They always do a follow up call to check on the pets the day after an appointment. They have great hours with nights and weekends available. When we had to say goodbye to our Best Boy, they were so accommodating, kind, and caring. We highly recommend them!

We brought a feral cat that I’ve been feeding for 8 months to Bensenville Animal Hospital. I had tried many well known Rescues, but no one seemed to care.My initial call in the morning to Bensenville Animal hospital was met with empathy and compassion. She gave me a few numbers which I called, but no one really seemed to care. I Called her back a few hours later and she was so very kind, she got me in that same day. The staff at the hospital were very kind, informative and caring. I just can’t say enough. The Dr was also informative, kind and made you feel very comfortable exposing everything that was going to be done, and with no hidden fees.The cat (tuxedo) had an infection on his paw. He was given an antibiotic, pain injection and a rabies shot. It all went so smoothly.The best Animal vet I have ever visited. If I could I’d give them unlimited stars!Thank you, 1st time client, Ang

Brought 1 of my cats there named Norma they were so nice and professional. All the staff and doctors seem so compassionate towards the animals. Very busy but they were really the only place taking in new patients. They keep you very well informed on your pet. They stay on the phone with you and explain everything and talk to you like family. Will bring all my pets there. So nice to finally find a very compassionate and friendly vet clinic that really do show the utmost respect and care for your pet.****************************New Post 9/21/23This place is so great and helpful. The Doctor and staff show so much concern and helped us so much with our cat Dilly. Instead of just saying he needs tests done to know what's wrong the doctor was so willing to say hey let's try this and see how it works. I unfortunately had to put my handsome boy down yesterday. The staff was so kind and so amazing. It’s never easy when putting down our loved pets but they were so great and patient. The whole experience was peaceful. They squeezed us in yesterday never having seen my dog before. It was worth the drive since they were recommended to me by other people. Prior to going, I had an appointment to put him down somewhere else tomorrow but as the days progressed I knew it had to be done sooner than later. I am so thankful for the two wonderful people (the girl at the front desk and the tech who placed the IV) and the sweetest doctor (Dr. Fox). I wish I can recall the girls names ( I want to say Mary and Maria) but it was all such a blur. Thank you for everything. Simba and I are so appreciative.

This place consistently blew off my family's concerns about our dog. They kept saying "well you know it's typical of that breed" instead of actively placing interventions to help our family. They seemed overwhelmed and understaffed with doctors who did not seem confident in their practice AT ALL. Less than 30 minutes after taking our dog here, we had to bring her to an emergency vet. From the looks of their other reviews too, the doctors are clueless as to when their patients are critically ill. DO NOT GO HERE. OUR DOG DIED because of their neglect.

Today was the first time we used this vet, as we now live in the Bensenville area. We have a large German Shepard that does not do well at the vet, and has to be sedated at every visit. He is a lot, and they took him without any issue and didn't even request that we stay to help get him sedated. The vet called and spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining every aspect of the overall exam he had conducted, and the procedure he was going to do for the main reason that I had brought my dog in for.They are professional, thorough, and made a visit that is typically both stressful on us, and our dog, a much easier experience. They are phenomenal!!!

The vets and staff are all great in my experience. Everyone has always been extremely helpful and kind. In regards to pricing, I’ve had two vets prior to coming here and these are about as good of prices you’re going to get for quality care. My dog always come back happy and healthy and I couldn’t be happier.

Save yourself the stress and don't ever go here. Very money hungry and they charge triple for ordinary services / medication. They will charge for absolutely anything. After multiple visits and over $1000 spent for an infection, we visited another vet who took care of us for $150.

I went to get my cat groomed and they told me they had to give him a test to see if he has feline leukemia.At the time I arrived at the appointment, I was told that my cat would be there for about 2 hours for the test and grooming, when there were no other customers. I asked them for the TOTAL price of the services (grooming, test, and possible vaccine for feline leukemia). And the lady told me that it would be a total of $65.I pulled money out of my bank to give to my dad, as he would have to be the one to pick my at up since they wouldn't let me pay in advance.I then received a call from the hospital saying my cat was ready for pickup. I called them back to recheck the price and make sure I could pick up my cat and the person on the other end of the phone rudely told me that they called almost a half hour ago and that my cat was ready. They then told me that the price was not as I had been told and that I would have to pay $130. I asked why the person before had only told me $65 and the person on the phone just said "That's for the grooming. The other stuff is also sixty dollars".I will NEVER be bringing my animals here ever again for any services. Paying that much to just give my cat a nail trim and a small bath is ridiculous. If I'm going to pay that much, I'm going to go to a better animal hospital and have it done by real professionals and not rude people who can't even be honest about pricing.
