Dollar stores are what they are. But I always find some great deals here. This one is always clean and orderly. Staff do a great job. You can save a lot of money shopping here.

Dollar tree has really gone downhill. In their quest to bring higher profit items they are squeezing out the areas that I used to shop in and have fewer items... I will never go back here.

The store is great, a lot of good bargains. Sadly, I assume they are having other issues in that you need a key for the restroom, and they actually have to let you in. Luckily, it was not an emergency. Great store, otherwise.

I mean if your looking for som cheap office supplies or something like that probably where you would want to go. I love their dry erase boards and markers, also their roller pens.

I hate I'm forced to give 1 star to leave a review. This is the second time in a few days I attempted to shop in this store, only to find it closed. Hours are supposedly until 5, but they closed at 3 Saturday and were supposed to be open on Tuesdays, but decided not to open at all today. This store needs a complete overhaul with staffing, starting with upper management or just close completely. It's not even worth trying to shop there anymore!

I went there today and found it closed!! Sign on door says hours are now Wed-Sat. 8-5I don't know if this is permanent or temporary.I usually spend at least $20 when I shop, but I shop when I am in town. With the price of gas I won't make a special trip just to shop there 😡. I also have had trouble finding things I normally buy, their shelves have not been fully stocked lately. So sad. Raising their prices to $1.25, items missing from shelves, & now diminished hours. They may be putting themselves out of business 😢

Store is hardly ever open. Most the time there's a handwritten sign on the door saying it's closed. Some of the employees have poor attitudes. The shelves have been almost bare the last few times I've been in there, when I can catch them open. They do not check applications or do interview process even though they're in desperate need of employees and new management. (I know because I've applied twice this year with no reply or return call) The manager Ashley is on Facebook complaining how she hates her job and doesn't want to work there anymore. Talking distastefully and very immaturely to people on social platforms. Laughing at their comments when they're concerned about not getting return calls for their applications.Somebody needs to send new management down there. The belvidere Dollar tree is in dire need of some help! Yet Ashley won't hire new employees to help them.

I went here with my boyfriend on March 26, 2021Kathy was working. when we walked in we were immediately greeted and welcomed to the store. when we went to check out she was super nice. Best dollar tree customer service I have ever had. Made my day and put a smile on both our faces (even though you cant see through our masks haha).

Trash store with deceptive business practices. Also the employees aren't helpful and they don't know how to professionally handle complaints.They have multiple items at the store that aren't even an dollar!! The quality is trash and they act funny about giving refunds! Sleezy place! I won't be back!!

No longer a dollar store😥. They have new store managers who are very rude. Jennifer is one. She tells customers to returned any item where they belong, if we no longer want to buy. The other manager is always in headphones giving bad looks to customers.she Makes customers feel that their business is not welcome.

Went today. Closed sun and mon. Open tues they sat 8 to 5. It’s almost like they make up their hours as they go along. Is this true of all dollar tree stores?

If you're going for seasonal items you have to go atleast 2 months beforehand or they are gone. They also have party stuff though. They definitely need more staff working. There is usually a long line at the checkout.

It's nice that belvidere has a place where we can eat inside and no masks are required. The manager just stared at the woman who was eating pork rinds in line. The cashiers had their required chin straps so that was good.

I always enjoy Dollar Tree. Yes, it's cheap but I have never had issues with anything I have ever purchased from there. Friendly people, for the most part.

They have stuff under $1. They got a trading card section where they have Pokémon, Yugioh, Baseball, and Magic: The Gathering cards. They have a public bathroom here with 2 contaminated drinking fountains. The store will try to make you come back here because the cereals here are small. They mark them 3 for 6$ ect. They also got cheap, plastic toys, party kits, canned food, and a soda machine with popular brands like Pepsi, Mtn Dew, Coca-Cola, ect.

I don't understand what happened to this location. They are hardly ever open now a days. Closed Sundays Mondays? Why? Hours are 8am to 5pm? They must only have one employee.

my phone was stolen from my cart literally right in front of the cashier and some how i dont know and i didnt see anything were the only answers i got. i walked away for a minute come back and it was gone. There were only a few possible people even. one being that cashier who was standing there the entire time. I ask about their cameras and how convenient that the FIVE cameras directly above the registers and the god knows how many others throughout the store ALL DONT WORK! All my pictures from my babys first year are on that phone and nowhere else so my kids first year of memories and videos were literally wiped away. Thanks dollar tree for your big help and good for nothing cameras!

It was very good i found 2 mask for a dollar the cashier guy help me find it and he was very polite and friendly will go again for sure thanks for having this dollar tree for the Illinois people👌🏻👍🏻💪🏻
