I make it a point to visit when Im in the area. I've been coming here for years. The sandwiches 🥪 are good. This visit I did notice the bread was a little drier than usual. All in all, my king size roast beef was delicious. I will ask for more oil & vinegar.Parking: It's going to be a tight fit. You'll be better off using the drive-thru, IMO. Intercom does NOT work. You have to order your food at the window.

Ordered a Gyro and fries that sent me to the hospital with food poisoning. I didn't eat all of sandwich cuz I wasn't feeling the meat. About a hour later I was messed up. I ended up going to the hospital where I found out it was food poisoning or the person making my food had a virus. Never again will I go here, eat here at your own risk. You've been warned.

Horrible customer service. The girl taking our order walked away while we were ordering. I ordered double cheese and they only put one piece of cheese on the sandwich then melted it then realized they forgot my extra cheese and threw two pieces of cheese on there.. I also asked what was on the sandwich and she failed to mention there was mayonnaise on the sandwich. And the proportions were way off. I hate an uneven sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good though.

Sandwiches are really good. The bread was fresh. Service was good. There was a bit of a wait, but this place can get busy. Parking is tight and the drive thru is silly, but it works. Mr. Sub shares its place with a seafood place, so you can get decent sea food here as well, but it is pricey. Right along Mannheim road, you cant miss it.

10 years ago I made the mistake of trying to buy a sandwich here. They put the wrong stuff on my sandwich and left the wrong stuff off my sandwich. I drive to Westside. I drive back to get my sandwich fixed and instead of compensating me for lost time and lost gas money in trying to fix his mistake, all the low intelligence person in charge does is offer me a new sandwich. He starts this big argument with me about how he only owes me a sandwich. I just gave him back his moldy little sandwich, got my money back and I haven't done business with them since. I'm pissed.

I have been to the Chicago area for years and it was one of my favorite sub shops when I was there. So this trip, it was not far from my hotel like a 6min drive. I was excited to eat here again but it is not the same not what I remember. The sandwich had way too much meat and not enough lettuce or tomatoes. But you know places change after years.

It's a working person's sandwich stop, hot, cold, tuna, fries, it's the original sub shop, BEFORE SUBWAY. I'm addicted to this authentic po'boy of sandwich making. The hot roast beef with cheese, the cold cut combo with pastrami, roast beef, and I believe ham, either way, THUMBS UP FOR ME! ITS FRIDAY, A COUPLE GLASSES OF WINE, IM TEARING INTO THIS SAVORY DELIGHT OF AWESOME, nice.... and slow.

Received food poisoning from them today. Wasn't really mad because things happen. Call the restaurant to warn them and then went to get refund after manager sent me home because of how sick I was. It was literally a 40 min turnaround. Owner told me I had to go to the hospital to get a refund. An entire emergency room trip for $8.50. I have literally spent thousands of dollars here over a decade plus of time. Owner tried to offer me five dollars as I walked out. I guess I'll be finding a new place for my chicken. Luckily there are a lot of places around. Farewell Mr. Submarine. Posting this on social media so people know to stay away today.

Stopped in for a classic mr submarine sandwich and the food does not disappoint especially my favorite the turkey sub and old school fries unlike the ones at most places today,beats any other sandwich joint any day of the week. The store was clean,unique design wise w the the cloud ceiling and also has slots for gambling if that’s what you’re into. The two things that made this a four star review both minimal but not worthy Was the fact that the soft drink machines were behind the counter And while the employee taking my order wasn’t rude, could’ve been a little more personable But overall a good place to eat

I specifically asked for any oils or seasonings that are used via door dash. A customer doesn't know that the oil & vinegar is used in this "special " sauce,so instead of saying "call the customer,and let em know",it's a "we're too busy to let customers know what we do and do have"..If having no care in the world was customer service,this place is that. I would not recommend this place.

Customer service was great. The sandwich was good but the bread is too thick. I personally prefer French bread. There was nothing wrong with the food, it’s your typical fast food. Hadn’t had a pizza puff in so long, brought back childhood memories.

They make their subs great. They don't skimp on anything and that's why I come here instead of the one two minutes away from my work. Keep making the sammiches right and we will keep coming! The lady that makes the banana pudding...yum!
