I gave Schnucks/ or this establishment four stars because of the high prices. I know this establishment can do better on the cost of there products. I noticed that they have very little staff working seeing that they are no different than Walmart or any other big grocery store who cut cost by putting up signs at the beginning and end of each aisle just look up you will see the sign stating what's in each food aisle therefore they cut cost in paying help, and I noticed a manager putting up cans of food on the shelves again cutting cost, and less not forget the fact this establishment don't really care about there customers standing in a long lines to check out their merchandise/ or food because normally they have one cashier working the register and that allows the line to be very long. The true of this matter is this establishment has many registers, but no body to operate them. Now talking about cutting cost, and I'm just saying 🤔

When I visited 30 mins until closing, the store was impressive. Everything was pretty stocked, shelves were set & organized, sale items were still available, and the only cashier staffed was fast, polite & friendly! These traits in 1 person working retail are rare these days. The fact that he gave me this nice experience at the end of his workday- I’m floored. *Applause*

The only thing I went in for was fried chicken. Picked some up, and it was tasteless. It's not bad tasting, but LITERALLY had no seasoning. It was juicy, but even the juice was like water. Very disappointing.

I use this Schnucks when I need just a few items. They generally have a good supply and selection. I don't like to do larger shopping trips here due to prices. They are a little higher than other places.

This store charges way too much for food.Also, the self checkout woman working on 4/19/24 at 6 pm should really consider minding their own business. I've shopped here for over 4 years, I'll never return to this store as long as I live!!!

Great store! Got a huge premade ham/cheese sandwich from their deli and it fed me for 2 days! Saved me money from fast food and their bread was delicious 😋

-9:15 am Wednesday 3/6-Don’t go to the seafood department and bother the lady on duty. I’m sorry not on duty I guess yet I’m sure that schnucks is paying her so you think she would have her customer service demeanor being used. I walk up and politely ask about a side of salmon. I know that they have them and my family wanted one so I ask the lady about them and if they had any available. Then she proceeded to tell me that she is not open until 10 and besides that she is doing her truck now anyways. I then stated that I apologize for bothering her and said I would leave her alone then and thanks for her time. —now I always thought that the customer came first especially with our economy so you would believe that the schnucks motto would be caring equals profits. I know that she could have very easily went and got me a whole side of salmon which if I’m not mistaken would have been around 26-35 for which is a good sale for 5 min of work. Or even dismissed the possible sale and politely ask for me to come back at a later time. I just didn’t think that a grocery store could afford to treat people like that and keep the doors open but what do I know I only wish things would have been handled differently. If I didn’t already have my cart half full I would’ve left but I did wait till close to the end of my shopping to go there so I could get it from counter to fridge quicker. I spent 309.62 at 9:14am so if schnucks would read this they know I’m serious. I’ll be going to aldis for my salmon later today I have never been treated poorly there. I’m sure they would love my business of 2-3 shopping runs a month. Hope nobody else gets the same eye roll with attitude like me. I’m very sorry for having to post this but I work in customer service myself and I work hard to make guests feel at home when they see me. So it bothers me to see someone not care about customers or atleast pretend to not hate them bother her. Without guests there would be no job.

Produce and products are amazing. One of the most frustrating self check out systems i have used, I would suggest you go through the cashiers. Also the people supervising the self checkout are often rude. However cashiers are always friendly.

Today I had to meet the Belleville police at the Schnucks on North belt west regarding the manager woman saying I used counterfeit money for a purchase 1st of ALL I'm an elderly woman who wears glasses, probably got the 10 dollar bill as a cash back from the same store earlier this month. I'm sure she eats that every day from the bakery.. Made me feel like a criminal in the aisle in front of customers 😑.. she was very rude. Banned me from the store which I've spent most of my monthly income. Shame on her!!! No plans on going back to that store anyway!! I even put my rewards number in for the points that can be used for purchases. If I was trying to use counterfeit money I sure wouldn't have done that!!!

I want to say well done, Noah. He helped me to get my credit card so I could get my family groceries. He deserves a raise or some sort of recognition. A schnucks card. He helped me to bring food home and gave me grocery bags to assist my wife. I'm thankful and grateful.

I like this store better than the one closer to my house. I went there for the packs of meat 4 for $19.96, they had a better selection than the store on Carlyle.

Im glad schnucks is near my home so it’s convenient, but just lije sooo many pkaces these days, NO ONE answers the phone. You are either listening to it ring forever, or it just magically hangs up. Customer service everywhere needs to be kicked up a few notches.

THIS STORE IS HORRIBLE THEY ARE WAY OVER PRICED THE QUILITY IS LACKING THEIR LACK OF STOCK IS UNREAL YOU WOULD THINK FOR THE PRICES THEY CHARGE YOU COULD GET A PRODUCT THAT THEY ARE OUT OF IN LESS THAN A MONTH AND NOT LEAST,THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A MONOPLY ON STORES AND THEY SURE REMIND OF THAT EVERYTIME YOUR LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THEY ARE OUT OF. Been going here 17+ years and always great place to shop!! They have expanded their Gluten Free items immensely, which makes my wife very happy since she has Celiacs. The people are always friendly and some of the freshest produce in the area!!

The check out lines at this particular location are incredibly long and become impossible to shop around the end capsules for nearly over half of the store. To save time, I would recommend shopping at other locations for a better experience.

This is my go-to store for all my needs. I've been shopping here for many, many years. The employees there are always very friendly and helpful.I love that CVS is also located inside, plus a drive-thru if you just want to get your prescription only.They always offer to help take my groceries to the car if needed.

This location got new shopping carts which eliminated the cup holders and hooks on the back of the cart along with knobs all over the handle of the cart. Why did they get rid of the hooks on the back? I can see the cup holders as people always forget small items placed in them. Carts seem to be designed for the new theft system rather than customer convenience in mind. On the brighter side it seems like this location is slowly getting better staffed then it was previously, however it's still chronically busy and the checkout line is still quite slow especially between 8-11AM and again after 6PM when checkers are fewer and traffic still fairly high. Selection seems to be improving and quality improving, so props there. Bring back the old carts though, or at least ones with a place to put your phone down and the hooks on the back for extra bags. Employees are nice and helpful if you engage with them, but don't bother you if you don't.

They are selling rotten meat chicken and steaks are expiring the very next day after purchase this should not be happening!! That’s stealing money out of customers pockets by buying food that expires with in 24 hours people have children to feed!😡
