A couple friends and I visited Red Board Hobbies for the first time this week. We were not disappointed by their inventory, they had plenty of inventory to search through. I personally came in focusing on looking for rolling stock and I left satisfied with the rail cars I was looking for. I live roughly an hour away so not bad of a drive, I'll be returning!

Great store. N scale layout in the font. Lots of HO and N gauge. But also plastic kits for cars and planes

He sells model railroad equipment and models, plus plastic model kits of airplanes,cars,ships etc. It isn't a 'Toy' store. The model railroad equipment is adult oriented. High guality and detail, not toys for children. He does have nice selection on hand & can order stuff if it is available. His prices are fair. He has ordered many models for me. A good place to shop if your hobby is model railroading.

I enjoyed shopping here today. I was not aware that they stock plastic model kits until I happened to notice several in a storefront window. They are a bit more oriented towards model railroading and have trains, track, and scenery materials in abundance. They have a good selection of hobby paints and magazines. They carry several car kits in the Moebius Models line. Will return to spend money.

Red Board Hobbies is a great, relaxing place to shop and talk all things trains. The owner is a great, hassle free guy who will do anything he can to help you out. The shop also has paints, plastic scale models, and other odds and ends. They do special orders as well so don't miss out! I hope you will sto by if you have the time.

Great selection of scratch building and kitbashing supplies (plastics, glues, paints) as well as some decals and other things. Mostly HO and N scale trains and related items. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly owner who answers questions and seems genuinely appreciative if you show him pictures of what you've built using the things purchased at the shop.

Best little hobby shop in Belleville area. Nice selection of model railroad items to browse. Mostly HO but also a good bit of N and O scale. There are a variety of car models in stock. I remember many hours spent building model cars!Look for special deals around the counter displays and try to count all the Santas on the shops large layout.
