I wouldn’t recommend to my enemy they deliver my set and it had a live mouse in it wouldn’t do anything about it and refused to accept even under my warranty, nothing got resolved the lady at the front rude per usual and of course they tried deflecting it on me after living in my home 41/2 years pest free, I’ll be contacting small claims also

We came in and was looking for a stove and fridge. The fridge went out in a couple of weeks. We took it back and tried to get the money back. On the receipt that we were handed didn’t have anything on it stating no refunds and that we would not be able to get our money back. The receipt in fact does not have anything on it but the price we paid. The women that works there is one of the rudest we have encountered. She should really work on her customer service skills. I don’t care if everyday is bad for her there is no reason to take it out on people. I will never come to this store again! We were just trying to support a small business.

These people are great. I've never been to the store in person, didn't need to. I called and told then what I wanted and that we we're unable to drive. The first time I bought a fridge and paid in advance over the phone. They brought the fridge out on time and it worked(s) great. Two months later I bought a washer/dryer combo and they brought it out and let me pay cash on delivery and we couldn't be happier. I don't usually bother with reviews but they deserve it. ThanksEdit: Had a small problem with the washer, called in and they came out in 2 days and fixed it at no charge. Again, I highly recommend these people. Thanks again Midwest.

This is a reply to the reply I got. You say that the no refund policy is written on the wall as well as the terms. From the comments the stuff written on the wall isn’t correct, such as the free delivery. And when we came in the first time the hours were incorrect. So what is the truth written on the walls? Seems like you all change them at your convenience. The concern with the terms, we signed nothing regarding terms. We knew we were coming to a shady business just didn’t know how shady until after the fact. Your employee has had numerous complaints for many months and nothing has changed. So you putting in a review that it will be handled seems like a lie just like the writing on the walls.

Went inside to look at washers and dryers. They were priced above others around them, but I was like whatever they have free delivery like the window decal amd the digital sign both say. Nope, they wanted $100 to deliver. Says they stopped that 2 years ago. Yet, they couldn’t update a digital sign (I understand not buying a new decal), but the sign? That’s predatory. Don’t go here.

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing a washer and dryer from Midwest Appliance. I purchased items on Saturday, to be delivered today, Tuesday. The delivery guys were in such a hurry to leave, they didn't make sure everything worked before they left. The dryer does not spin. I called and they said the owner would come tomorrow between 2-4pm. I work from home and could not schedule at that time, so requested any time before 1:30pm. I received a text from owner saying "we will try our best but cannot guarantee it." Hopefully they will make this right, and I can write a positive follow-up, but in the meantime, I spent $399 and have no working dryer.

Owner was fantastic, answered all of our questions, pointed us in the right direction and was extremely friendly throughout the whole process of getting our Washer and Dryer! Got us taken care of, loaded up and out the door within a few minutes! Would 100% recommend these guys!

I bought a washer and dryer.500.00 with 6 months guaranteed. After my plumber picked it up, connected it at my home, the washer immediately started leaking. Called and was told ,if you didn't pay 65.00 for a delivery, you'd have to bring it back yourself. Not on the sales paper or was I told that.After much talk, we took it back, while moving it, noticed gray tape on the pump hose. Took pictures of that. So it was never checked out before being sold to us.Got it back to my house, washed but doesn't wring the clothes out. Leaving too much water in the clothes to put into the dryer. They still refuse to come fix it at my home. Saying I needed to bring this large front load washer back to them! That's a shame! You sale appliances that you haven't serviced,that don't work!Great way to void the warranty!Pay us 65.00 of you're just stuck. Who transports a washer or dryer back and forth after a purchase?Don't use Midwest!You can buy used appliances at better places that actually service their products!Rude lying customer service the owners.

My husband and I received excellent service at Midwest Used Appliance on 3/2022. We were looking for an affordable washer and dryer and there was a good selection at the store. The associate was friendly and helpful. We received a wonderful set and they also installed the washer and dryer for us. I tested the set and they work wonderful. We bought a refrigerator from here almost 2 years ago, had a problem with it but they got the tech right out to fix it. Went in today to buy a washer and we met the owner, really nice guy, respectful and he was good with our kids. Not sure why theirs so many negative reviews, we haven’t had any issues yet and will return in the future for more appliances!! They will even take your old appliances for you. I contacted Midwest Appliance & Repair through their website to purchase a washer and dryer set virtually and have delivered to a family member locally. I was contacted immediately the next business day and the gentleman I spoke with offered a few models and prices and sent pictures. I purchased over the phone, received a 6-month warranty and they were delivered a few days later. I was in town recently and can attest the units were as nice as described, work well, and were a very fair price. They sold my mother a refrigerator that would barely freeze or cool and when they attempted to repair it they were not successful. So now I'm stuck with a fridge that doesn't work because they don't offer returns or refunds. I'm not saying they're bad people but this has been my families experience with them. In response to the owners response. Yes my name is not in the system because as I stated it was my mother who bought the refrigerator. Summary: The owner admitted as such over a phone call that they sell so many appliances they don’t perform checks for routine appliance maintenance items or clean the appliances properly prior to selling.Original review:I purchased a used washer here. It was clear the business workers smoke cigarettes indoors around the appliances. They did not check or service the drain on this, which is a regular maintenance item. I got this home and couldn’t even bring it inside because it stunk so badly. I spent 2+ hours deep cleaning the drain/water discharge line mostly. The drain was full of black mold and dirty water sludge. Even after all of this and several cleaning cycles, it still smells like someone lighting up a Newport every time I open the washer door. These rubber seals will never get that smell out.Edit:I explained when we spoke on the phone: I believed the cigarette smell to be coming from the inside the building due to indoor smoking, not the appliance itself. Even as I was taking it home I believed the smell was stagnant drain water due to overdue maintenance.At this point, I’ve already invested a lot of time cleaning and installing it. It is easier and cheaper for me to replace the door seal myself than to deal with unhooking this and bringing it back for a refund.You called me on the premise of trying to understand the issue, but that wasn’t true at all. You got angrier and ruder as the conversation went on, while I simply stated facts about the condition of the appliance and kept a calm and even tone. In the midst of your verbal temper tantrum you said that “I’m the type of person who gets my rocks off leaving bad reviews”. Please check out my Google profile, this is the only bad review I’ve ever written. I hope that speaks to the level of dissatisfaction I experienced that drove me to leave this review.

I purchased an an stove from this place and three to four months later, my tenant noticed the oven wasn’t working and kept showing an error message. So I called to set an appointment for repair which they made for the hours between 2 and 4pm. Tenant left home around 4:15 because worker never showed, from the ring camera the guy didn’t show until after 5pm. So owner goes off and says that it will be an $85 charge if he came bk out when it was clearly their fault. The owner is very rude and unprofessional and is selling faulty appliances with no serial number which means no one else can fix the problem. This business is illegal l, they are selling broken items and they need to be reported. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well.Service: Oven repair
