Love the idea of a farmers market but I have had terrible luck with the freshness and quality. I don’t want fruit and vegetables that are already over ripe and mushy. I called to tell them this and their solution was for me to bring the fruit I washed and chopped back up to the store. Not gonna work. Sad I spent 30$ on fruit and only half is usable. Sell fruit before it’s brown guys please please!

I bought my tomato plants here. I felt like I stepped back in time. They are friendly and helpful. They have fair prices, and they carried my items to my vehicle. Unlike the big box stores, they care about their customers. They sell other items, including produce, pastries, meat, custard, pizza, and other items. You can do a lot of shopping here and support a local, family-owned business.

The produce is amazing.This place is great at what they do.Very helpful and knowledgeable.The owner works everyday and is always finding the best items to sell.Not just produce....Pumpkins, plants and Christmas trees also.

Very friendly service and great produce. The take and go fruit plates and salads are really convenient! On top of their fresh produce, they also offer a variety of fresh bread from St. Louis, Bobby's frozen custard, meat from The Beast bbq, locally made fancy popcorn (Chicago style, Turtle, etc) and Fazio's frozen meatballs and ravioli (reg, 4-cheese, Buffalo chicken) and frozen pizzas. Also carry dressings, dips, soups, crackers, cheeses, sausage, eggs, spinach, etc. They're always super helpful and will offer to carry your groceries to your car.

I walked in with some spare Time wanting to support a local business and found some high-quality veggies available along with some nicer local butchered meat.I spent over $10 and they were running a promotion where I could spend a wheel for some free items on them.Actually really enjoyed it got some free food and the service was top-notch

We went here on a whim, and we've never left a place so happy. The staff were some of the friendliest people I've ever met, they have a huge selection of produce, baked goods and preserves, and they gave us tons of recommendations and answered any questions we had. This is going to be our new go-to!

Either location is a pleasure to patronize. Always fresh produce, friendly staff, and I never leave without more than I came for. I more or less go to Farmer's Market to let them tell me what I need. 😆

Closer to 3-3/4stars. If you're a regular customer, they usually greet you by name, which is always better than a generic "Hi. How are you?" and an equally generic "What are you looking for today?"

Diane had run the place when we were there back in 2008 - 2010. It was really wonderful and close by living in town. The selection was always fresh and the extras there were helpful in creating a different healthy meal or snack for everyone. Their fruit and vegetables were never 2nd rate and pricing more than fair. If I ever make it back up that way in Belleville, I'll definitely shop there again.
