This store has recently taken a positive change for the better!I've lived nearby for about 5 years. Previously it was seldom open for the hours posted, understaffed, disorganized and dirty. I quit going.On a whim I stopped by in late December - noticing cars in the lot.Oh my GOSH! What happened?It's clean, there are ample friendly employees and the shelves are organized in an appealing and easy to understand manner.Bonus - no tripping over or going through the rat maze of boxes that the store specialized in before.I'm glad the West End has this now (as we really don't have any quick stops like this) and hope the whole neighborhood catches on and supports their businesses local to them.

Purchased a 20 dollar google play card. The card will not work so I took it back to family dollar store I purchased it from. Family dollar said too bad and they will not give me a new Google play card. Do Not purchase any gift cards from family dollar because they do not stand behind what they sell. I will never buy anything from family dollar again. Beware of them people. You can get screwed out of your money here. Buyer Beware.

Hours posted online and the front door both say they open at 8am. At 8:15am the front door was locked with no employees within eye sight. I called and they answered and said they were not open because they were counting down registers. . Ok that's fine then change your hours to open later or count registers down BEFORE open time. It's a huge inconvenience when customers need items and arrive to find you are closed

This has to be the worst retail store I've ever been to. It is ALWAYS filthy dirty and the employees leave carts full of merchandise that block the aisles. Several times the night shift has left the front area of the store unattended and I had to wait around several minutes just to check out. I bet they lose a lot of merchandise to thieves that way. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because the manager is a nice guy.

I would recommend this place. I went here looking for some cheap cups for a get together that I was having in my backyard. I bought 20 cups for 4 bucks, so not bad at all. Glad I went here instead of opting for the disposable ones.

I will go to Walmart for housewares etc. Return policy @ family Dollar is 30 days, even over holidays. I do like the store and employees.

I had to change my review. I use to go in this store and be amazed at how clean it was and how friendly the manager, Cindy was. I stopped going in there after she left. After a almost a year I went back in there and it was horrible!!!!!! Gnats flying around and the store manager is very rude!!!!!!
